Gabby got shut down. His mouth clamped shut as he stared, wide eyed and absolutely shocked, at his sassy gay boilfriend telling him off. It was around that moment that his face cringed into something resembling anger, but a desperate, sort of ruffled anger. His face was blue from blushing, and he looked like he was really out of sorts. Still, he kept his mouth shut, obviously. Not because Efflo wanted it, but because he did not actually enjoy sounding like a monkey.
So, Efflo was ready to dance, was he? Gabby had wanted this from the beginning, but he hadn't expected to get it this way. So he cracked his knuckles, and his neck, and then Gabby showed Efflo exactly what it meant to shine.

"Gabby!" he whispered none too quietly. "THAT'S LEWD!"
Alice had arrived at Prom with this dress, these shoes, with a pair of black tights and a matching headband. Hopefully she would find some that she knew here.
-Yasha Alchemist
As soon as she turned, she saw something. Was that considered dancing?
Spinar caught the gaze and smirked at the devilish grin the other boil gave him, interesting guy, but that wasn't here or now. Later though he would return the favor of this oh so amusing moment. Looking to the indicated female Spinar gave the blonde a half-hearted wave to be polite and keep up his image. Inwardly he let out a long dramatic sigh though before starting towards the group.
On his way over the frost demon was cut short by a vibration of his phone, paused now to read, he glanced back up and held a polite once moment finger for the ghoul that wanted to talk to him before answering the text. So Rosy had decided to contact him, how amusing that it was now, this night certainly had the worst timing. Musing to himself a moment longer about the poor timing he didn't notice the blonde moving away or even much of anything as he worked on a reply.
By the time he had figured out what to say to avoid offending or making Rosy angry again the song had changed, a few times. Shutting his phone and pocketing it he grinned a little to himself, satisfied that Rosy had came around and called out to him first. Now looking to the place where he last seen the blonde a brow rose up in mild curiosity to find said spot empty. Though Spinar was just a little relieved that the spot turned up empty, there was a bit of disappointment to be had since now he would having the nagging what if's.
Ah well~ Prom was an exciting event so he hadn't really expected much in the way of waiting, especially since he had taken so long to respond.
Leaning back on his heels and glancing to the big top exit he wondered if he could get out of this now, not that he was really dead set on it, but he wasn't one to chase. Slowly the boil started for the exit, trying not to draw attention but considering he jingled with every step thanks to Amarus that was more than a little hard to do.
Text to Rosy
I've realized this, I'll find you shortly as it seems I have something to take care of.
It had taken a lot of enthusiastic persuasion, some well placed pouting and one of two lip wobbles but eventually his date gave in and they were on their way. Dragging the ghoul by the hand Tavi steered them to prom all while skillfully texting a certain grumpy horseman. "Ah aren't ya just excited! Oh wow I can smell tha food from here." Squeezing his dates hand he peered up with a large childish grin to the ghoul then shook his phone at her happily, " thanks for lettin my friend tag along, I just didn't want him ta be lonely, he's got alotta issues right now but dun tell him I said that kay!" Nodding rapidly the boil tried to contain himself but couldn't, so with each step that took them closer to the big top an extra little bounce slipped into his step.
It was kind of hard to believe that only hours before this Tavi was quaking in fear when he found out his date was a werewolf. But that was the magic of the night, anything could happen!
Tavi nearly squealed in delight by the time they reached the entrance, smoothing down his ruffled clown collar the kitsune wiggled slightly then peeked to Christiane. He really wanted her to have fun, more because he could tell she didn't do things like this often. Blushing faintly he giggled and offered, "after you!" He had to be a good date after all and his brother always said to let your date go first. Well that and a few other things but those seemed weird and he was pretty sure that Davii was lying to him so he would look foolish. Tavi wrinkled his nose slightly recalling the conversation of the day before, who would want to kiss a stranger, silly so silly!
Soo late to the party, hopefully this tag makes sense for everyone u-u b *has just awake brain*

Alexander had turned his head away from Yin from just a moment, just a split second to survey what was going on in the room. He couldn't have helped hearing from various angles some talk of nudity, and as that was one of the major no-no's that he was supposed to be watching out for, he had just wanted to make sure nobody was getting any bright idea's on the subject. Out of the corner of his eye, however, he saw it. Yin had reached for a drink. He opened his mouth to tell him no, but only silence emitted, while turning back towards him, free hand reaching towards the glass...
...But it was too late. Jack. Jackjackjackjackjack. Which one had he gotten? Even though Alexander had been one of the organizers of the event, and had a special drink of his own hidden away in his pocket-watch appearing flask, he still had no idea which drink actually did what. At least he knew which one it wasn't right away. Yin hadn't turned into a bunny, he hadn't turned black and white, and he most certainly hadn't grown a beard.
And then the boil opened his mouth and spoke, and Alexander's mouth gaped open at the weremantis's sudden change in speech. The zomboil was somehow equal parts amused, and horrified, and his face held a dumb expression somewhere in between. He really wasn't sure how to deal with this, or how Yin was going to feel about it after the effects had warn off, but giving his head a quick shake, he gave the boil a quick, reassuring smile, before releasing Yin's hand and placing both of his own on the boil's shoulders and giving a small shake of his head to try and convey that the drink was harmless, and while it might have tasted like coffee, it probably would not put him to sleep.
At least...he didn't think it would? He never thought to check if the damn things were decaffeinated!
The shimmering and sparkling was a little disconcerting, however, and the zomboil did cringe away from it, as though worried that the affliction was contagious in some way.
How long did these drinks last again???
Trying to hide the now worried expression on his face, he looked down the length of the table towards the food. Maybe eating would help absorb the liquid Yin had just drank and make the effects of it wear off sooner....equally, maybe going for a dance on the dance floor would help to burn it off.....
Throwing up his arms in air in exasperation at his own lack of being able to make a decision, he then heard the music change to something slow, and he knew that it just wouldn't do.
Okay okay, so food it was. Moving down the table, and urging Yin to follow, he made a grab for some slices of roasted piggle with gloved hands, plunked them down on a plate, and held it out towards his boilfriend in offering.

Christiane really had planned to just stay in her room for the occasion, even after getting a theme-fitting dress and such for the occasion. It was her first prom, and at the last minute, she had talked herself out of it. Who wanted to go where it was likely to be stuffy, everyone would be mingling, and she'd be holed up in a corner somewhere sulking? However... fate or whatever have you, had something else in mind, in the form of an enthusiastic (albeit nervous) kitsune demon who presented himself at her door and would not take no for an answer. It was probably the wobble lips that eventually caved her resolve.
It was a curious thing though, how her name appeared mysteriously on a list of people in need of a date. Even more so how her room number and eyephone number were put there as well. If she didn't know any better, she would swear up and down and even sideways that a certain childhood friend was at the bottom of this.
Even still, her date was incredibly polite although obviously quite nervous. He seemed nice enough, and he hadn't commented on her being a 'mangy mutt' so score one for the kitsune so far. She might even be able to employ his help in torturing a certain hell horse. The kitsune was spouting about the fact that she agreed to let his friend tag along. As long as said friend didn't mention the "m" word, she was fine with it. Although if he did... hellfire and brimstone would have nothing on the wrath of the she-wolf. She really was trying to get out more and attempt to be 'friendly' with the other students, but it wasn't easy when she tried to stay holed up in her room all the time. "It's not a problem, really...." And he was right... the food did smell good, more and more as they got closer.
Christiane was taken aback by the sheer politeness of her date, however, which ended any current dark thoughts she may have been having. Tavi was offering her to go first, and such acts of kindess were not something she expected, nor was used to. A faint blush appeared on her already flushed (from frustration of attempting to say no, she didn't want to go!) cheeks. "th-thank you" she smiled, flashing a fang and headed in, making sure her date was close behind. She didn't want to be rude by leaving him behind.

Mathias turned to look over and up at Frost, giving the boil a relieved look and a rapid nodding of his head. If the other boil wanted to take Vanya out on the dance floor while he himself got the ghoul something to drink for when she was finished, he was absolutely fine with that. Besides, that was what he agreed to do, was it not? She had wanted somebody to serve her all night, and here he was, not necessarily willing, but more than ready to do exactly what he had agreed to do.
Didn't mean he had to like it. Curse ghouls. Curse them all.
He had just turned to make his way toward the table when Vanya spoke, her voice sweet like a siren song, urging him to turn his gaze towards her......
No. Nein. He was not going to do it! He had made up his mind that he was going to get through this night, but it would be on his own terms, with his brain fully under his own control and not muddled up by some fiendish frau.
"Vutever the lady vishes." He stated simply, turning back towards her indeed but giving her a polite bow, and keeping is gaze lowered towards the floor, one hand pressed against the ruffles that adorned the shirt on his chest before turning and making his way briskly towards the drink portion of the refreshment table, and grabbing for the first one he saw.
Let them have their dance. He was going to just "chill" over here until they were finished.

Steffani nodded in agreement over Serafina's options. The rides sounded fun, for certain, though she was looking more forward to the games. The cute doll was haunting her in her sleep... When the ghoul leaned in, speaking softly, Steffani paused, and looked a little sheepish. "Um, yeah." She felt dumb even saying it, but, well. This was a dateishsortofthing, right?
"But we can meet up back here and go to the rides later?" She offered, smiling at Serafina. In all honesty, she thought it'd be easier to get Xavier to crack his shell a little solo. Groups tended to make things, well... Awkward. When Xavier agreed to the games, she lit up, nodding a bit.
"Alright, so we'll go there." Grinning, the ghoul picked up her jacket and stepped back, putting it on with a spin for flourish. She fixed her hat and her bag, and smiled at Xavier. "Ready when--"
Her eyes looked past Xavier for a split second to see a circus bear, and the shining dress near it. "Lark!" She waved, grinning wide. "Lark, over here! Is that Ben?" Ben the Roobear. It was perfect.
"Sorry," She looked back at Xavier after a minute, sheepishly smoothing her jacket down. "Sorry, I just want her to know I'm definitely here. Then we can go play some games." She grinned at him encouragingly, still a bit sheepish. But...

After awhile Monty got bored with sitting in the corner and coloring all over, he practically had most of the table filled up with stupid little designs and doodles. He got up and headed back out of the tent. "Maybe I can try the games again." he mumbled to no one.

Ren was having way too much fun with this.
"HEY IF YOU WANNA REQUEST A SONG, NOW'S THE TIME!" he bellowed cheerfully, his wings rustling against his back, stretching out and then folding back in again. "First come first serve," he added, blowing a kiss to a certain redheaded werewolf in the audience.

When the effects of the drink had worn off Circe found herself huddled up against the back of the tent alone. Everything had been fantastic up until that point. She was shouting about the delicious coffee and she could have sworn sparkles had fluttered around her. Maybe it was just her that saw them. Circe had learned to never underestimate the students of this school. It was tempting to try another drink but she figured that maybe she should wait a while before braving it again. Instead she looked around the room and hoped to see someone she recognized among the massive amount of people. Considering this was her first Prom ever the ghoul lacked the general know-how/formalities of an event like this. She'd worn a dress at least and her hair was styled a little. "Guess it could be worse." She shrugged, looking herself over. It was no wonder that she had chosen a mini dress with no straps. Circe liked to feel like she wasn't wearing much clothing.
Roch was FREEEE! For a little bit. He grabbed another bottle of water and poured some into a hand, which he splashed in his face before grabbing his vest and slipping it back on. He hopped off the stage, saluted Ren, and headed into the mass of people.
"Oye! Who am I dancin' with?" he called out cheerfully. "If y'don't speak up now, I'm eatin' the entire jackin' buffet!"
And he would, too>D

The horse monster's appearance wasn't too different from his usual outfit. He may have switched out his casual, everyday loincloth for his more formal set, and he may have also put on a shirt of sorts. While this wasn't his first Prom, the feel of Lattice's presence, her fingers entwined with his, the sound of emotions in her voice, made the night extra special for him. He was here with the ghoul whom he belonged to entirely.
If that wasn't reason enough for Petro to want to dance in joy, well, he didn't know what would be. "Would y' do me the honors'v a dance?" he grinned. They were at the outskirts of the crowd of dancers, plenty of room to maneuver and for Lattice to move without concern of her spikes. The tikbalang had long grown accustomed to them.
