Julian flinched when the gnomette shouted in his ear, making him press the center knuckle on his index finger rather roughly against his poor sound-receptor. He had sensitive ears, she didn't need to shout...
Needless to say, he really was rubbish at throwing. Absolutely rubbish.

BALLOON POP
Attempting a new game, since he seemed to be pretty bad at the whole ring toss kind of deal, he decided his hand on the balloon toss. Working through the darts, he realized that maybe he really did have bad aim.
Four balloons.
Four just seemed like an insult! He'd get more!
Going to ask for the darts again, he decided his try just one more time.

"No! You got two of them!" Terra said excitedly. "Good job, Angeline!" she added, hugging the other ghoul. "I knew you would do good! You are a reaper, no?" Completely ridiculous reason to assume that--especially since Angeline's specialty had nothing to do with throwing things, but you could tell that to Terra later. She was SO HAPPY! That she almost forgot the duck. Almost. "Should we try another game?" she asked. "How about the hammer one?"

Still tapping out a message and wandering back towards the balloon pop game...it seemed interesting enough. If nothing else it was giving her time to stall.

WATER GUN RACE
It was indeed getting close, and Mia had no intention of sinking down to back-handed methods to win. Concentrating, she adjusted the water gun, shooting a straight stream right into the clown's mouth, and watched with glee as it popped.
Yes! Did this mean-
She took a glance over to see Molan's balloon hadn't popped yet.
Yesssssssssssssss victory was hers!

BALLOON POP
Earlier she had managed a few tickets and figured she couldn't do worse now right? She asked to try again just once more in case she could do better then one ticket.
Blinking at the one balloon that popped she decided yep she could do worse. But it was okay because her first try was enough for a ticket.

Sneaking back to the duck game she tried to pull out a duck or two without getting bit. So far her luck held out, the ribbon looked familiar so she held the duck gingerly and tried one more time.

DUCK PONDGiggling happily she decided to choose the first duck only because the tickets just seemed so much more fun to collect...and besides none of the dolls seemed to suit Julian. Oh! Julian! She had completely forgotten about her message. It had been a long one too. Hitting the discard button she typed out a new one rather short, Reeshie Hack Text To Julian: Hi! Midway Games? Maybe some pictures later? Yeah that was much shorter then the massive novel she wrote early.

WATER GUN RACE
Progress: 19/20 (Lost)
Opponent: Miasma
It was a really close race, but apparently Mia was the sharpshooter today as just toward the end her balloon popped a second before his own might have. It certainly seemed close to bursting anyway.
Still, the race was over and Miasma seemed overjoyed as her victory for the time being. And seriously, he wasn't stupid, don't rain on parades. "Perfect aim this time." His tone was rather pleased as he shifted to step back from the spot before he ended up wet. Actually, this was better, now they'd both won. And she couldn't say he let her win either.

HELL'S BELLS"It's this way!" Terra said. "First you have a handle, you lift it hiiigh over your head, then slam it down--straight down! It hits a circle and it sends a thing flying upwards! And how hard you hit it makes the thing fly higher!" she explained, picking up the mallet. She made sure Angeline was in a safe place--then whacked the target. Then she blinked as popcorn was thrown at her. "Hey, it was not THAT bad," she told the gnome. "Here, you try, Angeline!" she said, handing the mallet over and helping the ghoul whenever she asked.

RING TOSS
She realized after sending the message she hadn't told Julian where she was exactly but perhaps he'd just send a message back and she could tell him where to meet her. But in the mean time these blasted games were calling her name. Wandering back to the ring toss she decided to try again.
So far the games were working for her. Now all she needed to do was see if her luck held out when it came to Julian. And talking...ugh who needed it.

It was music to his ears. Puffing up a little, he looked at his work - sure, it didn't beat having Xavier to help him - sigh - but this was good enough. Throwing the bird or not, 8 balloons out of ten made him pretty proud, and banked him 2 tickets!

A certain fire hellhound poked around until she found herself away from the dancing and food. Her ears flicked curiously. Where had she found herself now? Alecto looked around at the setup and her eyes seemed to light up more than usual when she realized she was surrounded by games. Games! Games were fun! Her tail wagged excitedly as she chose to wander toward a murky pond. “What’s herehere?” the canine wondered aloud. She turned toward the gnomette and nodded her head. “I seesee!” A clawed hand curiously reached for one of the ducks, but it only angrily snapped at her. Her hand was instantly pulled back. Whiiiiine.

Ducks, ducks. So many adorable ducks. She had one in hand but as with earlier they had another chance so the little witch reached out for one of the ducks with the red ribbons. This time scoring a pair of tickets instead.
