Persephone smirked at Malade. She had really been hoping he was going to say something like that. And he had! Perfect.

She placed her elbows on the table and leaned towards the two, smiling widely at Malade. He was witty, and wit was definitely something she could appreciate. For the moment, she ignored Rose's squirming and complaints and stared deep into Malade's eyes. He was attractive, that much was true, but honestly, she cared more about the game they were currently playing then about his handsome countenance. "While I can't help but find your offer... tempting, to say the least, I wasn't actually talking to you." She turned and smiled at Rose, patting the seat cushion next to her. "Why don't you come sit on this side of the table for a while? You might find it more comfortable."

She leaned back and smiled. Well, that should mix things up a bit. She was rather eager to see what Malade would do in response.

Persephone patted the seat next to her, for Rose to sit there. How could she? Malade clearly wasn't going to let her go anytime soon.

Cant she see I cant move?

"I..." she said but then paused and thought how to string together this sentence without sounding rude or harsh. "I can't exactly move right now" she said to Persephone. This was getting old. Maybe if she stopped squirming around he might let her go? It was like a predator and prey situation, in this case Malade was the predator, and Rose was the prey. In animal documentaries, if the prey stopped squirming, the predator would stop. Rose stopped her squirming and sat there with a blank expression on her face.

Malade was glad to get a giggle from Rose, but then she went right back to her persistent squirming. If she really wanted him to stop, she could just duck under his arm or say... oh. She finally did say something. Well, actions spoke louder than words, so he wasn't about to let go until she tried harder to get away. Because, really, he wasn't that strong, even if he liked to believe that he was. If she hadn't managed to get away thus far, then he was sure she secretly wanted to stay with him.

He finally turned back to Persephone after tightening his grip on Rose a little, catching her gaze. Awkward. He took a sip of his coffee as she spoke, most likely not nearly as surprised as she probably hoped. He set the cup down with a sigh and told her with a grin, "Oh, I know. But why have her when you can have both of us? The more the merrier, right? Unless you're only after chicks, and that's alright. But I'd take anyone. ... Err, gender-wise. " Smooth. Real smooth.

He looked at Rose with a look of confusion when she suddenly stopped resisting. ... He won! "Ha! She likes me better than you!" That was a bit rude to say to Persephone, but he won. He didn't know what he won, but he did, so he was satisfied. He pulled her a little closer and pat her head with his free hand, glad that she had finally given up and decided that he was the better person to sit next to. It was true, after all. It was surprising that there were people out there who didn't like him.

But soon after having that happy moment, he felt a sudden and unusual wave of sadness wash over him, and he wasn't sure why. Whatever caused it, he quickly tried to get rid of it by downing his coffee, hoping it would pass over quickly.

Louis hummed a tune as he walked into the Cafe, dressed a bit more formally than usually. He wore a vest, coat, undershirt, and some nice pants and shoes as well. He began to look for a seat for himself, and as he walked he saw the man from his Algebra class, whose name he could not remember himself, as well as the sister of Penelope.

"Hello, greetings, and salutations to you three. In no particular order. Unless you wish to fight for which of the three greetings you received, which, in that case, then don't do that in here. A business like this is not the place for a rabble roused display of muscularity and power for words. But that's an entirely different matter. How are all you?"

”I hate bathrooms. They’re the worst.
Male or female. What’s the difference?
There’s stalls for privacy,

As he entered the cafe, Snyder warily glanced around for a certain cooking teacher. Good. No sight of him whatsoever. He was definitely being wary after that first encounter with that "pervert" here. Then again, what if he was lurking in disguise? There was no way he was sticking around now. Immediately turning around to exit, Snyder accidentally crashed straight into a waitress. After that, it was a domino effect. Said waitress flailed and fumbled for balance, but all her pinwheeling arms managed to do was end up flinging a plate of cake straight at a couple (Malade and Rose) who was embracing one another in a heated romance just like how he read in the books. Wait, wasn't this his fault? Er, what should he do? He was pretty certain he learned something from Suzanne and that was...

"He.... She... did it." He pointed vaguely at one of the two others (Louis and Persephone) that hung around with them. Then again, they were way over there while he was the only one here. Maybe he should have pointed to someone closer.

And it’s all used for the same thing.
So why does one smell better than the other?
Genders are so confusing.”

Malade pulled Rose in tighter. When would this end?! Rose crossed her arms and looked at her cup of coffee that she wished to be drinking.

2 new comers came into the cafe. Snyder from cooking class, and an unfamiliar face (Louis). Louis made his way over to the 3 of them, and made a rather formal introduction. She meerly gave him a soft smile.

THUNK. Snyder knocked over a waitress and he fell ontop of her. Unfornunately, she was holding a plate with cake, that flew straight onto Rose and Malade, which also knocked over the cups of coffee infront of them. Great. More mess. Not the best thing ever. Rose knew it would stain her white dress. It was in hers and Malade's hair, aswell as their clothes. Perfect.

"Ah! What the hell?!" Rose exclaimed as the cake got flung onto them. Snyder was trying to cover himself up, when it was clearly him who had knocked over the waitress. Rose didn't particularily care who's fault it was. She wanted to rush to the bathroom, but no. Malade had her gripped in tight.

Persephone continued to smile. This was fun now wasn't it? She was really enjoying the back and forth she was having with Malade, and she wasn't about to let it end anytime soon.

"Please." Persephone said to Rose lightly. "He's not THAT much bigger than you. I think you could work your way out if you wanted. You just don't want to bad enough." She winked at Malade. "I'm not ONLY after chicks... only sometimes, like you. I'm after them when they're more attractive than the guys. Although it's a pretty close call between you two." She placed her elbow on the table again. It would take far too long to explain her condition this boy, how she liked guys as a girl... and girls as a guy, but the way she had had to word her explanation made her sound Bisexual... well, maybe she was.

She fake pouted when Rose stopped struggling. "Well that's no fun." She complained to Rose. "And here I was being all nice to you! That's the thanks I get I suppose. Maybe I should just give you two some privacy then eh?"

She paused as no response came from the girl. "...I think we broke her." She said to Malade. Rose had suddenly gone very vacant, and Malade? He suddenly looked... really depressed. Were they both bipolar or something? Penelope arched an eyebrow. That would be an odd and very un-fun turn of events.

Her inner monologue was interrupted by the arrival of the bespectacled boy who had been with Penelope the other night. He walked up and began to spout what appeared to be, in Persephone's opinion, utter undiluted rubbish. She was about to halfheartedly greet the boy when, much to her surprise, A tray of cake flew into her field of vision and splattered on top of Malade and Rose. Blinking, she turned to see the source of said flying cake, and discovered a blonde boy who was apparently the culprit. This she deduced from the fact that the boy was also attempting to place the blame of said flying cake onto her and her bespectacled acquaintance. She frowned. Blondes. How annoying. She stood and glared at the boy, her hands still on the table as she sniffed and arched an eyebrow. "Blaming others for your actions? I see... it appears that we've somehow entered a time portal and been transported back to grade school. Grow up blondie, your guilt is written all over your face. Now why don't you be a dear and apologize to these nice people, and help them clean this mess up?"

Hmph. After a while of squirming, Rose finally had stopped, Persephone clearly didn't like this, as she complained alittle. Then she said that they had broken her? Broken Rose? So they were planning something after all. Rose let out a sigh, ridding her lungs of the air that was in them, but them she took a deep breath back in.

"What do you mean, Broke me?" Rose asked Persephone. She finally managed to come free from Malade's arm. She stayed sitting next to him, and grabbed a napkin and cleaned herself of the cake then gave Malade a napkin and offered to help clean him, as he had gotten most of the cake in his hair.

"Don't hate me because I'm better than you. Hate me because I know it."

׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º×

Malade set his empty coffee cup down as some odd guy approached his apparently growing harem. As he was speaking some very... eloquent nonsense, he was busy trying to figure out why he looked so familiar... Oh. Cute glasses guy with the freaky eyes in Algebra. He made sure to keep his gaze away from his eyes to avoid accidentally spilling out some rude observations. "Err... hello?" He mumbled when he finally finished, having no clue what he just said. Probably useless nonsense anyway. "Here, join the dark side. We have coffee," He told him as he moved over to make more room in the booth. Even if the way he spoke and looked was really odd, he wasn't about to say no to letting another distraction join him.

He grinned when he heard Persephone's compliment, and that got him thinking a little. He found Rose a little more attractive because he found the green hair exotic, but her personality was a bit lacking since she seemed so withdrawn. He really like Persephone's wit and sharp tongue. Wait, why did he care? He had both of them, and the weird eye freak. He was totally set. He snickered when she mentioned 'breaking' Rose. That kind of was his initial goal... sort of. It still counted as a success.

He looked past Louis when he started to hear some shouts and shuffling around when something suddenly flew at his face. "Gah!!" He didn't even have the time to put up his arms to defend himself, his face pelted with half a cake. And then the coffee! The coffee! He was glad he had downed his beforehand, because only a little of Rose's spilled onto his lap. But it burned like Hell fire!

With all that going on, and the burning on his thigh, he hadn't even realized that Rose managed to free herself. Took her long enough. He found it hilarious that she didn't move away at all though. He could easily just catch her again, but around the waist so she couldn't escape! But he resisted, only because he thought of something better. After she cleaned the cake off of herself and offered to help him, he couldn't help but tell her, "You know, if I were more like my cousin, minus the wimpiness of course, I would have licked the cake off of you. Just saying." Now that was bound to get her to grow some common sense and move away from him. If not, then bonus points to him for being loved even if he knew he was acting like a perverted a**.

After helping Malade with cleaning off the cake, he said that if he was his cousin he would have licked the cake off of Rose. . Thinking about where the cake had gone Rose turned and looked at him with a raised eyebrow and shot him a stare that spoke louder than words.

"You'd do what?!" Rose exclaimed and shuffled away from Malade alittle. What a weird thing to say. Not to mention creepy. Rose stayed where she was, abit away from Malade. He was acting very perverted. As long as he didn't try to kiss her and grab her she would be fine. Putting his arm around her, made her feel somewhat uncomfortable, but if it was more than that. Oh god.

Persephone almost laughed. Almost. Malade's reaction, and Rose's reaction in turn, were immensely amusing. She took a moment to observe the two, taking a quick break from her intimidation pose she had been using on the blonde boy. Rose had finally broken away, but she wasn't leaving? This was awesome! Hilarious, and it seemed as though Malade was playing into it full force. She gave Rose a pointed glance and cleared her throat, attempting to get her attention. "Girl! relax! gayer than a herd of unicorns running across a rainbow remember?" She whispered, knowing full well that Malade could most likely hear. "He's trying to get you all riled up! You gotta play his game if you want him to back off!"

Rose trying to play Malade's game. If she took Persephone's advice, this would be one of the most hilarious things EVER. Persephone gave a pointed look at Malade, mouthing "Down Boy." Before whipping her head around to glare at the blonde boy once more. She really disliked blondes, they were always bungling her plans. Annoying really.

When Persephone mentioned the unicorns on rainbows again, Rose laughed once again. She grabbed her bag and put it over her shoulder.
"Naw, well I gotta get going.. See you in class. If we have any..." Rose said to Persephone and Malade giving them a small wave. She got out of the seat, and exited out the door.

Pierce entered the cafe. He was quite certain that coming to this place and drinking some form of coffee on the weekends was going to become a sort of ritual for him, seeing as honestly? He loved coffee. Not to mention the atmosphere was quite soothing.

He sat in a small booth, ordering a black coffee before leaning back in his seat and letting out a large yawn. He rather enjoyed sleeping in the boy's dorm. In fact, he rather liked being a boy. Then again, when he was a girl, he enjoyed that too. Honestly, he just liked stability, being able to stay in one form for as long as he wished. It was nice, a privilege that many people took for granted, but now, with his earring, he could too.

He touched his blackened right eye gingerly. He didn't get his sister. She should he happy that she could remain in one form now, no matter which form it was. So what if it happened to be a form that Pierce found a little easier to mess with? That was just a bonus in his opinion.

Well, she'd forgive him. She always did. He chuckled softly, sipping his coffee and enjoying the warm feeling spreading through him.

Ihsan had finally left the library in search of food. Unfortunately, by the time he left his book-filled sanctuary, school was over and the cafeteria was closed. So after returning to the dorm to shower and change into something less rumpled and restrictive, he found himself in the city, searching out a place where he could purchase some kind of food. He finally found Cafe Au Lait and went inside,, pleased to see it was a restaurant. He was not, however, pleased to see Pierce sitting at a table nearby.

He stared impassively at the other boy for a moment, before turning away and finding a table across the room.

After being handed a menu by a girl that seemed...disturbingly impressed by his pale skin...Ihsan realized he had no idea what any of this food was. On top of that, there were giggling waitresses behind him saying something about how he should...sparkle? What? They said something about him looking like a vampire, but he wasn't sure what that was. Hrm.

Resting his chin on his hand, he used his ability to create a slight shimmer across his skin. There were several ear piercing squeals behind him and a solid thunk that sounded like someone hitting the ground. Sure enough, when Ihsan looked over his shoulder, one waitress was on the ground and another was fanning her. How strange.

Did Humans really find pale, sparkly skinned people so attractive? He would have to make note of this and try it at school one day.

Pierce had turned his head as he heard the door to the cafe open, and was pleasantly surprised to see Ihsan- well, Ihsan was staring at him. He blinked, staring back until the genie turned suddenly and headed for a table across the room. Pierce grinned and shook his head. That guy... he just couldn't figure him out. He was a strange sort, quiet and unemotional, but he seemed to have some underlying... something. In any case, he was interesting, so Pierce casually watched him as he proceeded to read the menu... and sparkle. Wait what?

One of the waitresses fainted, and Pierce nearly shot coffee out of his nose. Okay, now he REALLY liked Ihsan. He stood, taking his coffee with him as he slid into the chair across from the pale genie,[grinning widely. "Salutations my good man." He said cheerfully. "That, if you don't mind me saying, was one of the most excellent things I have seen in my sixteen years of existence... though I would be careful where you turned on the sparkle, otherwise you're gonna get a lot of acne ridden prepubescent fan girl nut jobs chasing after you you know? Forget demons ghouls and goblins, fangirls are definitely the scariest creatures in existence."
