The dance competition over, Ren took Alessa by the hand and led her back over to the side, spinning her around playfully.
"You were wonderful, my dear," he said, smiling brightly at her and slipped an arm around her waist, twirling her up into his arms to kiss her cheek lightly. "A beautiful dancer indeed. Except for that small moment when I stepped on your foot, and you stumbled, and I almost fell, but other than that..." Ren winked, showing her that he was merely teasing her and ducked his head close, tapping their noses together.
"I might just be the luckiest boil in the room tonight," he whispered, grinning. "At least in my head."
Nuzzling her playfully, Ren turned his head, catching Riley out of the corner of his eye. "A game, eh?" he said, with a quick glance back at Alessa before he made his way over to the mindflayer, fingers interlinked with his ghoulfriend's. He picked up the dice, holding them up to blow on them and then with a quick snap of his wrist, flung them onto the table.

Chuppi had come out of the back room (and the bathroom) shortly after having her hair adjusted, the little monster feeling more of a need to get things done than any need to wallow in self-pity. With her evening clearly ruined and her clothing replaced by the Dust Devil's track suit she looked more business than pleasure. Which, of course, suited her just fine. She didn't think to go and look for Tybalt after the incident, she didn't want to see him because he probably didn't want to see her and be mad at her.
She came back just in time to hear a game and, figuring it would raise her spirits, she rolled the dice.. . . .and did poorly. This likely meant she was going to have to do something, not that the Chupacabra was really in any mood to listen. Her day had been soured and for once the usually timid and chipper Chuppi was not in good enough spirits to deal with people.

Staring at Riley for a moment or so, Jericho relaxed and looked at the dice she had for the game. He could have sworn he sensed some murderous intent coming from her earlier. Perhaps he had imagined it, but he wouldn't doubt that she had some scheme in getting him to dance at first.
It made him a little twitchy to see people using his dice, but he did let her borrow them for this purpose. Well, he may as well give it a roll here too.
Taking one of the golden dice, he went on and rolled. He just grinned as he succeeded here. Of course his own dice wouldn't fail him. Though, he was rather curious as to what type of dares Riley would be making people do. It seemed that a fair number of people weren't quite so lucky with his dice.

Sarias sensed his wooden claws draw nearer to her face and tensed momentarily, preparing to open her eyes at any sign of trouble. She would never let herself be this vulnerable sober, the thought of closing her eyes, allowing her one good sense to be lessened was absurd in the light of day, but she did it none the less. Maybe wanting to prove something to herself that he wasn't just an idiotic p***k out to get cheap laughs. Maybe he could be...worthy of being around, maybe even friends. "...pffft..hhaha..oh how sad Sarias!" laughing at herself in her mind she didnt take note of how long it took for Icky to clip her pin back. She assumed if anything that it was quite difficult to attach anything to a ghost let alone one who was drunk and swaying.
*click*
"Oh....ohhhhh.." A tingle shot from the pin ran down her spine to the tips of her limbs, it caressed every part of her as it worked its magic running though and around her form until she arched forward nearly falling into the Boggart as she grabbed his shoulders for support. "Ahaha...what a rush." she could feel again, she forgot what this pin could do. Sure she preferred her natural state, but there was something about this borrowed body that she wanted to keep. Maybe the ability to touch, to feel?
She prised her hands back of the Bogart, more gently and slower than she would do in any other state. She busied herself with tucking a stray hair strand behind her ears, readjusting the pin as she went.
"....thank you....i guess. You shouldn't have stolen it in the first place you thief. At least its a change from panties." She remarked as she brought up the rumours she had heard a few weeks ago, and then, despite herself, smiled. The change of body had lowered her alcohol levels but now she was just tipsy instead of steaming. Looking him up and down she tutted in protest.
"Hey..i thought this was meant to be a party?....You look like s**t....here" Crossing her arms over her chest she pulled down her hands over her body, moulding the ectoplasm and her smoke tendrils, manipulating the fibres and the cloth to reveal a different look, a party look. Her dress now cut to a pencil lined skirt, her corset shorter but still tucking in at all the right places and her chains moulded into smaller more refined jewellery.
"Now...at least you look better if I am with you...and dont think this will last. I am like that stupid Scary Tale story, Bin-errr-rella, these clothes wont last the night."

Holly looked over to West. "I think you guys did great, well Tset better than you."
A game? She picked up the die and rolled it. Jack. A 3. What kind of dare would she get? As long as it didn't involve her awesome dress she was fine.

It was rather strange. He expected ghouls to be more clinging and happy to be at a dance, but it seemed she was upset over something and was wanting to sit down. Not that he objected. He could rest his hooves, but WHY did it have to be WAY over there?! Sighing, he at least had the consolation that he would be sitting and staying put for a while, and followed after her rather slowly until she paused and turned when Riley announced a game. The dare made him wary, but it was the direct challenge that got to him. Colette seemed to have a bit of a spirit on her to rush by and go up to roll a dice, so Calder turned, again slowly, to wait behind her.
When she rolled, he then leaned in and waited before taking a dice as well, and rolled after. Might as well and it wasn't like he could be dared anything too bad at a public dance. Since he survived Truth or Dare before, he doubted he couldn’t handle anything Riley threw at him. Maybe he could even impress Colette instead of having her look so down in the dumps.
Not know what he rolled, he turned to look at her. "You okay? Did the punch make you sick? I bet it was the punch. It tasted funny." Yeah, clearly it was the punch.

So Arachne had won the contest. The imp was relieved at that, if only because of her earlier jealousy. The other demoness deserved the win. The fact she had danced alone only glorified it all the more. Morrigan would never have had the guts to dance alone.
Speaking of alone, where had that patchwork gone off to? "Patches," she called, looking around for him. The cafeteria was really crowded with students and gnomes alike. And there was that earlier chaos with the snack table. She hadn't been able to see how bad it go but she knew there had been a mess from the loud noise. Slowly, she began to weave through the crowd, each step increasing her annoyance. Why were the floors here always so cold? Taking a risk, she began to increase her body temperature. She'd have to keep an eye on it. She really didn't want to burn through another pair of stockings.
"Mimic, can you take me to Christof?" Perhaps her friend had seen where the boil had gone off to. Setting Mimic down, he bounced happily away. She had a hard time keeping up with him because of the crowed. He could dodge through feet while she could not. Eventually, she found him bouncing against a pair of doors. "Oh, he had gone outside," she assumed, opening the doors curiously. Fresh air hit her face and she paused briefly, enjoying the feeling. She walked outside and took a seat on one of the old benches nearby. It looked like it would give away any moment but that seemed to be pretty common in this school. She peered around curiously for Christof. Had he come outside? Had he decided to ditch her and go home?
Mimic grinned as best a mimic could. All he had to do was hope that the walking corpse would stay inside. If he could get them both to think the other ditched them, all would be well.
