Rei stood up and looked down at him. "You shouldn't say such things, you'd cause yourself pain for one person, why?" She leaned back on the trunk of a tree and folding her arms across her chest.

Leon smiled,. He stood up slowly. "I care about you that much." Leon looked down blushing and tooka step back.

Rei looked at him as he stood and turned away from him when he finished speaking. "Instead, try something different." She walked over to him and grabbed his hand in hers, pulling it up to his chest. "You have a name Leon, that makes a part of you human. Don't let anyone or anything take that piece of you away."

Leon smiled and pulld her into a hug. "Thank you..." His voice trailed of, as he smiled. No one had really been nice to him like tha tbefore.

Rei smiled and hugged him back, breathing a deep sigh. "My brother used to tell me that everyday back then, I'm going to do the same for you until you change your mind. Pain is too inconsistent if you care about someone, choose something more constant." She felt numb, not understanding the reason why, trying to ignore it.

Leon smiled. "Well now I have someone I need to stay sane for." He blushed and looked down, trying to take a step back.

Rei blushed and took a step back as well, feeling a bit awkward in this sort of situation. "That must be good then huh?" She smiled a little but didn't make eye contact toward him.

Rei took another step back, her face turning many shades of red. "There's a perfectly good explanation for that." She still wore the same smile.

Leon's smile wavered slightly. "I hope so.. I don't think i am worth it, I dont knwo why she does." Leon frowns slihgtly for the first time in a while.

Rei took a step forward, walked the remaining distance between them quickly, embracing him in a hug.. "Because, maybe she believes everyone should get a chance to be happy, doesn't he want that too?" She asked looking at his eyes for the answer.

Leon took a half a step back when he was hugged. He lsowly reutrned the hug. "Only if hes with her." He smiled resting his head on her shoulder.

Rei let a sigh drag out from her. "She can never leave, there are many reasons for that, and he should know that." She let her smile widen when he hugged her back.

Rei smiled back and smacked him lightly on the cheek, then brought herself closer to him and whispered in his ear. "Maybe he needs to look at the glass half full instead of empty."
