 Alex crawled under the covers, wearing her baggy pajamas as usual. She half buried her face into the pillow and snuggled in, hoping to just sleep the rest of the night away. Her eye lids slid closed, falling asleep much faster than she had thought she would. Despite her worry Alex slept very well that night, not dreaming or having the memory haunt her.

 With a groan Sabre sat up. So much for a good night's sleep. His mind just wouldn't let him. Quietly he got up pulling on some sweats and a tank top. Looking at the clock he sighed. 3:46? Seriously? Sabre mentally complained. Quietly leaving his room he made his way down stairs. Pausing a moment to make certain he didn't hear anyone moving upstairs, he quietly unlocked the back door. Staff lightly in hand, Sabre slipped out. The night air smelt wonderful and the cool air felt good. Maybe I just need to wear myself out a bit He thought as he started into his excercises. As he moved from one form to the next he didn't even notice the blackness of night start to fade to cool gray and finally the pale dawn.

 Just as dawn was beginning to break Gabriel was waking. It took him a moment before realizing where he was and another to remember just why he was there. Gabriel rubbed his face for a moment before heaving himself into a sitting position. He sat there for another moment; hand on the cane resting against his bed. He got up with only slight difficultly and removed the clothes he fell asleep in and dress in new clothes. Making his way to the table he managed to get down into a sitting position in front of the picture of his twin sister. “How is it over there…?” He said quietly to the picture, half expecting the dead girl to answer. Gabriel rubbed his bad leg, wondering why it had to be his sister.

A bright light in his eyes is what stopped Sabre finally. Morning? Already? Oops I better get cleaned up. Got to get everyone going Sabre thought ashe wiped some sweat off his face. Hurrying inside he quickly went upstairs to his room. Tossing his staff on the floor he stripped as he entered the bathroom. Washing quickly he redressed for the day. Tieing up his hair he stepped back into the hall. Moving quickly down the hall he knocked on Gabriel's door. "Sir it's time to get up." He called through the door. When he didn't get an answer he opened the door. "Sir? Ah your awake. Good morning."

Gabriel heard the knock at the door and Sabre calling from the other side. He decided to ignore him for a moment, concentrating on getting up onto both feet instead. Gabriel leaned heavily on his cane for a moment before straitening up. “The time zone change is throwing me off,” He complained as his explanation as to why he was already awake. Gabriel turned the way the picture faced again, not happy with the way it was earlier. ‘How long would it take to adjust to the time change…?’ He half wondered as he let his hand fall from the picture.

"I know the feeling. Don't worry, sir. You'll get used to it soon enough. Miss Amy isn't here yet so if you want to clean up before breakfast now would be the time. I'm going to get Milady up. Is there anything I can do before I go?" Sabre said with a smile. He had the same problem when he had first became a slave. Having been from several time zones ahead of the one his old master lived in not to mention trying to keep a vampire's hours. Sabre felt for the little Neko and hoped he did adapt quickly.

Gabriel nodded, taking in what Sabre said. “I don’t need anything,” He said, using the cane to make his way to the bathroom. Gabriel decided he would at least wash his face, seeing as he usually took his shower before he went to bed. The only reason he didn’t last night was because he was just so tired, well, that and it would wake him up more than anything. He rested the cane on the sink’s edge, shifting most of his weight onto his good leg while he cleaned his face.

"Then I'll see you shortly for breakfast." Sabre said with a small nod as he left the room. Moving down the hall to the next door he knocked once on it before entering. "Milady? It's time to get up. Your brother is already up and Miss Amy should be here soon." He said as he made his way over to the bed and the sleeping Neko within.

A small and barely audible voice spoke from under the covers, the words too muffled to hear even if they were supposed to make sense. A hand rubbed one of Alex’s eyes as the other reached out, searching for Sabre in the direction she heard the voice in. “Morning already…?” She said, still very sleepy.

"Yes it is. It's bright, it's warm, it's going to be a good day. Come on up." Sabre said lightly reaching out and grabbing her hand. He rubbed it softly, gently pulling at her to try and get the sleepy girl up. "You can't sleep the day away, unless you want me to go to the beach without you. So up or I'll flip the bed."

Alex sat up, mostly due to Sabre’s gentle pulling, rubbing her eye still. She couldn’t help but smile a little as he threatened to flip the bed. Gently, Alex pulled at Sabre’s hand, silently asking him to sit as she stifled a yawn with her free hand. “Did you get any sleep…?” Alex asked, looking up at Sabre at least a little bit more awake than before.

Sabre sat when bid to part of him glad to finally sit. He had alot of endurance and training for that long used to be normal. But since it had been a while his legs were gratful to the break. "I got some. And by what I came into this morning I guess you slept well." Sabre said with a smile. He'd never seen her this asleep and he couldn't help but find it a little funny. To him, Alex looked like she'd pass back out at any moment.

Alex nodded, stifling another yawn as she rested her head on Sabre’s shoulder. “Some sleep? It’s not good to skip out on sleep Sabre,” She said, sleep still dominating her voice, not scolding or anything of the sort, and fighting to keep her eyes open. It felt good to have someone there in the mornings to Alex, someone to talk to or try and wake up for. A sleepy smile came to her lips as Alex realized she didn’t dream or anything like that. A part of her had a feeling today was going to be a good day… knock on wood.
Gabriel took the cane from the sink’s edge after drying his face, making his way past the open door to Alex’s room and down the stairs with only slight difficulty. He didn’t even bother to glance into Alex’s room seeing as he had no business to.

"I know but I'm fine. Come on, up out of bed. I'll let you clean up and get changed. It's not polite to keep people waiting." Sabre said smiling at her sleepy tone. Even though he was encouraging her to get up Sabre himself hadn't moved yet. He knew he should be down stairs getting ready for Miss Amy, and start preping for the beach but in all honesty he just didn't want to move. Glancing up he saw Gabriel go by. Sabre couldn't deny he was very curious about the boy. Maybe he'd get a chance to talk to him soon.

“Nnaaa, Alright, alright,” Alex said, pulling her hand away from Sabre’s so she could rub both eyes at the same time. She then crawled out of bed, moving to the dresser and getting clothes out a little clumsily. Alex then made her way to the bathroom, pausing at the door and turning to Sabre. “Thanks for everything Sabre,” She said, still tired but a little bit more awake than before and a smile on her lips.
Gabriel came down the stairs, making his way to the couch and having a seat. He hated how something as simple as getting up or going down stairs seemed to tire him.
