Rollin held Jesse's hand,"Any chances that they may come back to do it again?" she asked worried.

He chuckled again and smiled. "Probably but that is just what happens. The last time they came after me was that time. It was about 20 years ago so they might come soon. Their attacks are usually every 20 to 25 years." He said not even sounding like he was scared. He kissed her forehead. "You don't need to worry. I'll be fine."

He looked at her and shrugged. "Well if you get attacked all the time for centuries, you kinda get used to it. It's kind of like how if you play sports, after a while the usual injuriess don't even bother you anymore." He said, trying to think of a good way to compare it.

He smiled at her and brushed his hand down her cheek. "That's why I say not to worry. I don't really even feel pain anymore because of how constantly I was attacked." He said.

Rollin smiled as she huddled against Jesse as a cold breeze blew by.

He held her close as he felt the breeze. It didn't bother him since he was always warm. He heard a very faint sound and narrowed his eyes as if glaring at something farther ahead of him. He kept holding Rollin close to him so she couldn't see where he was looking.

Rollin felt Jesse hold her close but she didn't hear the faint noise. Just the wind bustling the tree's leaves and the leaves on the snow covered ground.
