Watching Lea and Elliotte running back towards him, he pulled his SA80 round from his back. Removing, checking and reloading the rifle he heard Lea shout. wipping his eyes across to her and then up to the beasts. He placed his rifle to his shoulder and took up a kneeling stance on one knee. Firing bursts of 3 bullets at the beast, he aimed for their wings as best as he could. It wasn't an easy task though as they were flapping them.
He landed 3 clean shots in the right wing of one of the beasts. 2 holes in the wing and the lest to the wing shoulder. The beast screamed and fell from the sky.
By this point Lea and Elliotte we nearly at Higeshi's side. Rising he walked backwards still shooting.

Lea slowed down to a jog after hearing the beasts fall to the ground. She turned around and looked at the beasts 'A specimin...' she thought to herself, then shook her head to clear those thoughts.

Elliotte let Lea put the antiseptic on her hand, it stucg abit but she new it wouldn't last long and would help her hands. "Thanks" she said and they kept going.
She followed Lea towards Higeshi watching at Higeshi shot down the beast. As they reached Higeshi Elliotte said "So what now, we can't just leave it there can we?" shaking her hands around as they still stung slightly.

"Yes we can." He said to Elliotte "And we can run. There's more than one of those things coming."
At that he began firing at two more that had come into sight. They were nimble in the air and darted around making it hard to get a clear shot at them. Obviously learned from watching their own fall by gun fire.
skipping backwards as he fire a few more shots when the cartridge emptied. turning and running he unhooked the empty cartridge and rammed it in a pocket on his webbing, he pulled another out of the webbing and loaded it. Flicking the weapon to fully auto he fire a spread of bullets at the two persuing creatures to disorientate them. turniong back round he started into a hard run.
"COME ON!!!" He shouted to the girls.

Lea put her things away quickly and ran off, keeping her eyes ahead. "I can see a cave! We could hide in there!" she said, trying to catch up to Higheshi. She figured there would be something in the cave already, but it'd be better than the open.

"OK..." Ellotte said but before she could say anthying else Higeshi started running towards them. Turning on her heel Elliotte started running.
"But what if there is something worse in the cave." Elliotte said keeeping up with Lea but keeping an eye behind for the flying beast. "Their cathcing up!" she shouted as she started to run a little faster.

facing the gun backwards as he ran for the cave he fired wildly at the beasts.
"I don't care whats in there at the moment. Just run for it." He shouted between firing.

Lea nodded and headed for the cave. She didn't have to look behind her to know they were still being followed. She dove into the cave and rolled into the shadows, panting heavilly.

Running at the cave Elliotte dived inside and moved herself behind a rock to shield herself slightly from the beasts if they attack in the cave.

Running for the cave, Higeshi pulled another flash bang. Thinking for a moment, Only 3 left, he shrugged and a few paces before the cave, he pulled the pin. Realesing the striker lever, he began counting. "1... 2... 3..." And he threw it over his shouder just as he reached the cave, covering his ears as he entered. The flash bang Went off in mid flight. The sound of an explossion and a blinding light filled the sky. Screaching could be heard outside the cave. Removing his hands from his ears He looked for Lea and Elloitte.
"Girls. Come on. Lets move deeper before they regain their orientation." He siad loudly incase they were slightly deafened by the flash bang. Reaching them he touched their shoulders and motioned for them to follow. As he headed deeper, it got darker. He went as far as he could go bofore he couldn't see. Stopping he turned his bag on one shoulder and fumbled around inside for a short while. Pulling a flash light from within his bag, he switched it on, returned his bag to his back and continued on.

Lea had remembered what the last one looked like and had covered her ears and ducked down. She nodded to Higeshi and followed him quickly towards the back of the cave. She took pulled out a flashlight and swung it around slowly to check and see if they were truly alone. She shivered in the coolness of the cave and pulled her coat tighter around herself.

The sound of the explossion made Elliotte jump, she covered her ears and tucked herself into a ball. After w few second she felt a hand on her shoulder, she quickly looked up to see Higeshi and Lea Walking further into the cave.
Elliotte got up and walked after them looking around the cave untill all she could see was the lights from Higeshi and Leas flshlights. She quicken her pase to catch them up so not to be left behind. 'What next.' she thought.

Walking carfully by the dim light of the torch, Higeshi was wary of his footing, just incase there was something on the ground to trip on. Walking for for some time it began to grow colder and the faint sound of dripping could be heard.
"Hay." he stopped and turned to the girls. "Can you hear that as well?"

Elliotte carried on following Higeshi and Lea. Looking around, although not sure why was she couldn't see much. Then she herd Higeshi. "Hear what?" sh asked. As she stopped next to him and listened.

Lea stopped as well "Stalagmites?" she asked, listening to the dripping as well.
