Arya took the drink offered, watching him mix in the herbs with a heavy sigh. "Thanks. I do appreciate it Kai." she said softly, giving him a faint smile as she sipped it slowly. She quickly finished it off, just sitting down on the table so she wouldn't fall over. "Should we tell Jessica of what has happened before? She already suspects that something has happened to cause some of us to react in the ways we do." She murmured, rubbing her eyes in a very tired fashion. She suddenly seemed much older than she looked, but the moment passed as quickly as it had come, her wings spreading from her back to flap gently.

Kai shook his head. "I don't think they're ready just yet. I trust Jessica and the other scientists... But their company is a different thing." he said frowning slightly. "But I'll bring it up at the gathering tonight for debate. Whatever we decided we need to decide as a whole, since it effects us all." Kai said folding his arms across his chest and wincing slightly as it pulled on his wounds.

Arya nodded a little, that was very true. If the marines found out, it would be ugly. "True... " She sighed lightly, running a hand through her hair to brush it back. "Alright, thats best." She murmured, pausing before she said more since she noticed him wince. Sighing, she moved his arms gently, holding her hands over his wounds, the soft glow returning to her hands as she healed them. "Don't tell me to take a rest either Kai." She smirked as she looked up to him, softening to a small smile. Even as she finished, she leaned back on her hands quickly, catching herself even as she swayed. She just laid back as her wings vanished again.

Kai pratically growled as he saw Ayra fall backwards. "No more healing for you. Even if I have to tie you up and throw away the key... NO MORE HEALING." he said firmly. "You're much to important to be wasting your strength on my mistakes anyway." he stated angrily waving a hand to produce another cup of water and repeated the previous process with the herbs. "Drink." he said putting the cup in her hand. He didn't like seeing her like this, expecially when it was his fault AND he could have prevented it.

Arya frowned even as she rested against the tablet, pushing herself up to look at him. Her wings spread again, the tips barely brushing against his cheeks, the feathers almost seeming sharp due to a gleam of the light. "Everyone here is important and I can't have you all in pain. It can distract." She snapped right back, downing the entire glass as if it were a different sort of drink. "It's my damn choice what the hell to do with myself. Except when it comes to the council which is most of the things I end up doing. Let me do what I want Kai. Order me around again and I'll tan your hide." She chuckled a little, dissipating the water from the glass back into the air.

Tanya had seen Natasya wave, but she didn't even nod in acknowledgment, and just continued on. She was passed them all before long and then spotted a small, fox-like creature, she descended rapidly and it had no hope of escape. She drained his life away very quickly and afterwards she just sat down next to the carcass. Blood was smeared on her lips and her eyes had a slight but noticeable glow about them. She felt much better. Now that, happened every time, unlike the bright red glow during the fight.
She was content to sit there for a few minutes, unmoving.

Kai sighed, "I only meant to say that I heal rather well on my own, and that your powers could best be used elsewhere." he stated softly, looking up with kind eyes. "You have been working very hard lately, we all appreciate it... But we still have a ways to go before we can relax and I don't want to see you get hurt."

Arya frowned a little, her chin resting in the palm of her hands as her elbows were upon her knee's as she hunched over. She didn't comment, instead she shook her head a little and looked up to the sky, tilting her head a little. "Kai, I'll be fine. You haven't seen me push myself even harder in the wars the Angels used to fight with numerous others. We are too warlike for our own good. It sometimes makes me wonder how the humans got such an image of us." She sighed heavily, running a hand through her hair as she straightened up, pushing herself off the table to stand on her feet. "My powers are being used as I see fit and I see them as being used best where they are." She murmured, giving him a small smile that was very gentle, placing her hands on his shoulders while giving a slight massage to reassure him.
"But I'll rest, have no fear." She let her wings fold, a wind blowing past them both softly, it's feel warm with the faint smell of cinnamon. "It relaxes me a little from my stress to know for sure that you will be fine. And everyone else for that matter. Since it was my people and me who asked you all to help me on these matters. And you are all dear friends. So, of course I will worry over your well being." She smiled softly, looking back to him from the sky again, falling quiet.

"Well the best thing you can do for us is to go home and relax a bit before the gathering... Else I'll worry myself sick." Kai teased, gently tweaking her nose. "Come on. Let's go dig the lizard out before he decides to nest." he joked, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and leading the way.

Arya frowned again, her wings spreading rather suddenly, a feather catching on the breeze, her eyes following it as it was carried away. She wriggled her nose when he tweaked it, her wings shifting so they wouldn't be in the way when he slipped his arm around her shoulders. "Alright." She chuckled a little, placing a hand on his arm as walked after him. "Home is where all the messages come in, hard to relax there. I'm fine where I am." She said softly in his ear, patting on his arm lightly.

Kai shrugged, slipping his hands into his pockets. "There's always room at the sky castle. I promise not to tell anyone you're there." he said, mocking the stance of a boy scout. "Neko's honor." he joked, smiling. His battle deminor completely faded by now.

Arya let her hand fall to her sides again, raising an eyebrow at what he was offering. "Oh? Hiding me away?" She chuckled a little, unable to stop the laugh that spilled from her at his mocking pose. "Fine. I guess that will do." She mused, a giggle flowing from her. "I'll take the offer on that. I appreciate it Kai, I really do." She added with a warm smile, another feather flying to the ground.

"Good. That way you can get some real sleep for awhile." Kai said happily, observing another feather falling from her wings. Not necessarily a good thing, he thought silently. "And I do believe we have 10 or so hours left until the gathering for you to play dead and get some rest." he chatted, joking with her as he gently nudged her with his elbow.

Arya sighed lightly, nodding in agreement at the thought of sleep. She would normally be out for about two days after doing a run like this, but they didn't have that. We hardly have any time anymore. She kept her expression from reflecting her thoughts, strengthening her walls as she had caught his thought by accident. "I'll be fine Kai. Don't worry about it. This wouldn't be the first time this has started to happen to me." She flashed him a small smile, chuckling at his joke. "Play dead indeed. I just hope no one else joins me." She smirked, nudging him lightly with her own elbow.

((I forgot to tell you eariler but if my posts seem wierd ignore them. I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out and I'm on some serious narcotics at the moment, and will probally not remember most of post in a few minutes.))
"Only if you ask." Kai joked. "And you don't have to keep throwing up your defenses." he added tapping her forehead gently. "I have no secrets from you... Haven't since we were kids. And anything I didn't want you to hear wouldn't even pass across my mind at all." Kai smiled. "Come on lets kick the others into gear so we can get you some sleep."
