Astearen woke up some time later.
She sat up and saw him still with her on the couch.
She couldn't help but smile at that. Getting up as quitely as she could she turned of the T.V.
Wow could it only have been one day that she had been with him?
She wanted to help out some how but did know what she could do.

When Kiyoshi woke up the next morning, he noticed that Ren was wrapped in his arms. He looked down at her. Her angelic face as she was still asleep. He didn't think that something like that would happen. Yet, as he looked at her, he noticed how beautiful she was. She was already coming to mean a lot to him. He saw her peaceful face and couldn't believe how lucky he was to have met her. He leaned forward slowly and kissed Ren on her lips....

Astearen eyes opened then as she awoke. She kissed him back.
"You know that's really not a bad way to wake up. I could get used to it."
She huged him tighter, then streched out. But doing this caused her to roll of the couch and towards the floor.

Kiyoshi quickly wrapped his arms around her wait and pulled her back to keep her from fallin on the floor. He looked at her and laughed. "I'm glad you enjoy waking up that way." He said with a smile. "I couldn't stop myself. You looked so beautiful while you were sleeping. Before I thought about it, I kissed you."

phsyoco_kitty Shinka didn't like how Raven laughed at her at all. She held back a comment. As soon as Raven's shoes hit the ground Shinka wished she could cover her ears but didnt. Instead she held her head up and ignored the harsh sounds. She then said "Oh great. Home sweet home." ((My last post))

Raven laughed at her sarcasm and placed her nails under her chin lifting it up, she looked into her eyes, Raven's own eyes were softer now.
"Thank you for not fighting me. Come lets go up to my room. I have a spare room for you."
She let go of her chin and walked in through the doors and up the stairs. She went up three flights of stairs before steeping out of the stair well and into the empty hall.

Shinka followed Raven not wanting to be confined to an apartment. And then it hit her like a rock and Shinka stumbled nearly falling. She sat on her hands and knees looking at the floor her eyes huge and glowing. Tach. She had met Tach here. Tears began to fill her eyes. He had asked for her help here. They had first met here. Tears began to slowly fall down her face and to the floor. She had met Tach her exactly one week ago. But he had died the same day. Killed by her own kind. Before her eyes.Shinka sqweezed her eyes closed aginst the memories as the tears fell harder. She was supposed to be dead! Not him. Tach wasnt supposed to die! He had come here to see the new world. To enjoy america. She had never like america. She should be dead!

Kiyoshi looked over at the clock. "It's 11:38. Why?" He looked at Ren. A strand of her red hair hung in front of her face.

Raven looked back at Shinka and sighed. She went down to her level and put her hand on her shoulder lightly.
"Shinka, whats wrong? Is it something I can help with?"

Shinka looked up at Raven slowly horrified she was crying. "Nothing." She said her voice raspy. Tach was dead. That was it. She slowly pulled herself and moved from Raven's touch not wanting to be near anyone.

Raven looked at her a little worried. When she realized that her expression showed worry she shook her head. She was getting soft in her old age. She slowly walked up to her and placed her arms around her and hugging her, comforting her. She made a shoosing noise.
"Come now, you can tell me. I know somethings bugging you."

Shinka leaned aginst Raven hating her weakness. Deciding she couldnt hide what was wrong for long she began "The reason I wanted to kill myself." Shinka had to stop as her voice caught. After a moment she continued. "The reason I wanted to kill myself was because after being hated by all, my whole stinking life someone loved me." She had to pause again at the memory of Tach holding her close in the hotel. Taking a deep breath she blurted out the rest "He was torn apart before my eyes, by my own kind." As sson as she said it all the bravido seemed to be pulled out of Shinka. Her tough looking face became like a young child, full of fear. Her shoulders slumped and her head hung. How she had wanted to die. But she had known he wouldnt have wanted such.

Raven's eyes closed as a memory flooded over her but she shook it away. She held her tigther and rocked her back and forth.
"Ssshhh, it ok now. I know how you feel in every way."

usually Shinka would have pulled away and said something along the lines of "How could a blood-sucker have feelings?" But she kept quite and amazinly leaned aginst Raven. She burried her head aginst the womens chest hidding her face from humanity. She felt comforted as she forgot the women was a vampire. She felt safer then ever. Other then with Tach that was a feeling she would never feel again.
