One from the show the darkside were a little girl is given a "spirited" toy bear for her birthday, and when the bear is tarn apart it's spirit then goes into that of a giant bear skin rub.
Another is Three young hunters who track the great bear across the Earth, until they come to the end off the world. Looking ahead, they see the giant bear leap from the earth into the heavens. The hunters when coming to the jump-off place without hesitation followed the bear into the sky. There in the skis, you can see them still chasing the bear during the long winter nights. In the fall, when the bear gets ready to sleep for winter, the three hunters shoot their arrows into bear. Great bears dripping blood turns the autumn leaves red and yellow, but he always manages to escape from the hunters, because for a time after being wounded, he becomes invisible, then he reappears afterwards..
When the Iroquois see the Great Dipper in the sky, they say, "See, the three hunters are still chasing the Great Bear!".
