^^;; I'm half German so i'm attracted to such things. I'm currently still working out the kinks in what it actually says on the blade. Waiting for my brother who lived in Germany to help me out. I figured out some of it sweatdrop

Figured as much. I like it.
Of course, I never really opposed the Nazi's really. I find too many things about them compelling and enticing to banish entirely. Germany has always been a bit of an interest of mine, for one reason or another.
Nonetheless, pretty knife.

^-^ thanx KB. Funny thing was, I was attracted to the knife before I knew it was German. When the lady took it out of the case I saw it was German and knew I had to have it no matter what it cost. I was amazed to find out it was as cheap as $20. I think they miss-priced it. I know knives very well, as well as German swords (I have one of them too~ with the Nazi Symbol on it) And this was too high a quality to be that cheap, but I wasnt going to complain xp

Indeed. Many of such things were confiscated from German officers during the war and sold as trinkets. Quite valuable some of them, and very nice pieces. Though I'm not much of a blade collector myself, my friend's have expansive collections. I usually like to limit myself to what I can use, or simply training use in a blade.
The SCA is good for that. To train your skills I mean. Though, even if you don't plan on having practical use of the blades they can be pretty.
Go Germany, Go.

yea, my collection is random at best. I have a few (cheap) katana styled swords, a few Roman ones and a few more modern ones. None of which are really that good in quality.
