Nelowulf Cale Darksun Nelowulf Cale Darksun Nelowulf That is correct. Just like the Nakara or Asura realms have their purpose, so does that of the pirate. For the way to enlightenment needs stepping stones. My stepping stones just happen to be law, order, and those that enforce such things. Just like the Asura, such words come only from those who seek their desires. Even Pretas have simpler needs than the less enlightened asura. For law, order, and enforcement become unneccesary to those who have become higher, as they have no need to conform, nor are they shunned for their decisions. Life has no meaning of one does not set goals. And besides, the point of life is to live. But you cannot sense your identity without physical manefestations. You need law and order to realise yourself. In anarchy, you cannot be in tune with your higher senses, because you are lost without them. Therefore you lack higher enlightenment. You know this to be true, which is why you wish to become more like the nelo. However, it is the greed and fear which you hold from losing the sensations of the first five senses which holds you back. You need not fear, for sensation is greater when one has more senses to react to. Simple, no? While it is true that I need Law to define myself, Law without chaos to define it is meaningless. Without the concepts of Anarchy and Chaos, you yourself become lost for it is by their existance that you define the Law that you live by. If you were truly enlightened, you could transcend Law and Chaos. However, to be truly enlightened is to shed the mortal ideals which define you. You fear that, fear loosing your individuality, fear bcoming one with the universe. If you lost the things that made you Nelo, then you would cease to exist. Individuality is by definition something apart from the whole. It is an outsider, apart from the rest. An Outlaw. By clinging to your individual self, you retard the efforts of Law and make yourself an agent of chaos. You are more akin to me than you dare to admit, and you fight this realization by decieving yourself that you are separate from the Chaos that you unwittingly are a part of.

It would be a waste.

There are six realms for a reason, it is just those who refuse the seventh sense of individuality which speak like you do. That is all that needs to be said.

It seems I'm not the only one who is blinded by belief. Entropy is the natural state of the universe, Nelo. Things happen without Rhyme or reason. It is sentinent Life's efforts to control that entropy which brings reason and law into existance. and even such ideas can not completely quell the rolling tide of chaos.

You realize that's just me spewing buddhist philosophy? Chaos is necessary for enlightenment. Even they acknowledge it.

Nelowulf You realize that's just me spewing buddhist philosophy? Chaos is necessary for enlightenment. Even they acknowledge it. Of course I knew it. I just wanted to see how much longer you'd keep doing it.

I was looking off wiki at the time for a way to explain my "You may say you're law but you're really chaos" when I noticed the fact you were quoting Buddhist stuff. The Shinto stiff i picked up on only because I had done a lot of research on Japan before the start of my D&D group's campaign.

Nelowulf cheater. You're supposed to make it up as you go along, like all religions. I was using it as a reference. I didn't know what the word was for total enlightenment and I remembered the Buddhists had a word for it. I looked it up, was disapointed with what I saw and thought up some other way to explain it. By chance I caught the similarity between wht you were spouting and a page I had skimmed through.
