The Light Wolf looked up at the opposing Light Lion standing before it on the Lake, and Nikolaus knew this could only be Musica interfering. It made a face as if to snarl, but no noise came from it. The creation was only made of light, and could not produce sound. It lifted off the ground without moving and raised up to gaze at Evermore and Krause. Nikolaus knew there was nothing he could do with this Light creature to harm them, and he was pretty much at a draw. There was no other reason to attack anyone else here, and the Wolf made a face of frustration. Unless it could....
Nikolaus started sending energy to the Wolf, powering it up so it would burn brighter as a Light. With every ounce of energy that went into it, the Light rays from the creation intensified, enough to blind anyone that looked at it directly at a short range. Nikolaus was trying to drown out the shadows, since darkness was only the absence of Light. Once it was there darkness was abolished. So is the natural order of things.

Ever winced and eventually completely closed her eyes as the light from the wolf blinded her. She couldn't see or concentrate so that she could teleport herself and Headmistress Krause to safety. The light was so bright that it was almost painful.
Moments later, the shadows were dispersed by the fierce light and Ever and Arielle began to fall toward the lake. Ever hit the surface with a loud smacking sound. She wasn't unconscious, but she was in pain and in shock. The wind had also been knocked out of her. She was just floating limply on the surface of the lake now.

Nikolaus smirked, and so at the same time the Light Wolf did as well. He saw the opportunity, it was right here before him! Now quickly, just slice the old woman's head clean off her shoulders! The wolf floated back down quickly, moving yet not moving. It was down before the floating pair in less than a second, and as it stood there it raised the blade above its head to bring down the sword upon her head.
Musica scowled, seeing he still would have to act. He'd hoped Evermore's little tactic would work, but deep down he knew it wouldn't. Darkness and Light were interconnecting things, two sides of the same coin per say. Controlling the practically full developed Light Lion, he sent it forward to intercept the Wolf. With unimaginable speed the Lion sliced the Wolf with its katana, and the Wolf stopped short of its blow about to be given. No injury was seen, but the real blow went to it's energy, which Light is. Some of it's energy had been converted into useless heat energy, wasting it so the Wolf could not use it. It reappeared on the banks of the Lake, Nikolaus giving it a face of hatred and repugnance.

Though Evermore had been beaten out of commission, Arielle was not so: she called up the water as she fell and it cradled her, bringing her down softly. She then surrounded herself with water, knowing in that moment that the Wolf knew at least something about the barrier being tied to her. She wasn't completely sure if she was its target, but she knew she had to get out of the way anyways.
She let herself sink below the surface, and she didn't need to worry about breathing--as half water-nymph, it was no problem. She could breathe as easily underwater as above it. Her skin began to shimmer lightly under the influence of her nymph blood, almost seeming to be a purplish color with swirling hues of baby blue intermingling like the chocolate in a marble pound cake.
She opened crystalline blue eyes and let the current sweep her away from Nikolaus' Wolf and Musica's Lion. She willed the surface currents to do similarly for Evermore, who didn't seem to be moving.

The light fairies and spirits leaped into action. They surged forward toward the light wolf. They formed a wall, blocking the lake from him. Since they were made of light, although they mainly came out at night, they were just as threatening to the wolf as the lion was. There were many more of them, though.

((I got a really random idea... I was watching an anime with a little outtake thing for comedy... so... here's Love & Doom's contribution to the guild since I fell so far behind.... >.<
Love & Doom: *sitting on beanbag chair staring up at all the action on a television screen*
Love: Doomie, can Love have the poppycorn pwease?
Doom: *rolls eyes* It's not 'poppy'-corn, it's just popcorn. Can't you say anything normally? *hands her the oversized bowl*
Love: Nopie. ^^ Why is all those people fighting anyway Doomie?
Doom: Heck if I know. I know all the fighting's fun to watch though, not keeping track of the story.
Love: *tilts head* Why is Doomie talking about that like that's a movie? But that's not a movie, that is footage from the little camera thingy Doomie made....
Doom: *shrugs* Just watch already will ya?
And there's Doom & Love's little OOC contribution to the plot. ^^))

(Just to let you all know, my Aunt finalized the divorce against my Uncle, so it's all pretty much over now. He'll be moving into my grandma's old house, so he'll be close. I think I'll be able to get on more now.
On a lighter note, I'm not quite sure how to post XD Should I have Ari/Ness throw the spear?)

((...Well, I personally think it would be a bad idea in the scene to throw the spear, because it'd be bad to lose it, but if you feel it's necessary, then... either have one of them throw it or let me know so that I can have Arielle give the signal to throw it. The spear will break once it hits Nikolaus, as will Nikolaus' armor. Dunno what that means for Nikolaus, though.))

((The armor is bound to his soul, so he'll probably seperate his soul once more since it's very loose to begin with. And I have plans for him when that does happen. If you want, I can continue the battle between the Lion and the Wolf, but they're pretty much at a stalemate now. Not really anything miraculous I can think of.))

((I could perhaps. Though in a more epic manner than that >.> Though Nikolaus would not respond well. Hey I have a question, if he used his type of teleportaion, which is breaking down into the component photons of his body and moving to a new location, could he pass through? This is question is for both Nik and Musica actually.))

((Not unless he took an extremely long time to pass through; the components will still hold certain life-strains and only one at a time would be able to pass through, and each one would take a while--perhaps a minute or so. Unless he literally sends just his body through and his soul is on the other side. However, then the soul would have to be completely and utterly detached from the body and the body would be dead. The soul cannot pass the barrier.))
