Mai walked in happy for no reason. "Hi peoples I do and don't know!" Mai exclaimed too loudly. She waved her arm like a crazy maniac at Sammy's direction as if Sammy would not have notice her after that outburst. Then her stomach suddenly growled. "Ugh. I can't believe I'm hungry when I just ate before I came here." Mai said no longer happy.

Ike sat still in the common room, getting over the headache he had earlier. It's amazing, he thought, how fast his opinions can change. He looked up to see a member walk in.
"Have we met? We might have. I can't remember." he said, sounding like a mess.

As soon as Sammy yelled, Ike jumped in surprise.
"Sheesh." he said, his head still hurting. He finally got up to go look for some advil.

Sammy saw Mr. Ike and waved. "Hiyas, Mr. Ike! ^^ Thinking about Ms. Maddy?" She asked, saying it as if Mr. Ike and Ms. Maddy were a bit more than friends...

"Hmm... I'm not sure if we have met. Maybe but my memory is terrible." Mai said to Ike as she wrinkled her eyebrows. She was trying very hard to remember if they met. After a minute she still couldn't remember if they did. She gave up on trying to remember. Then she looked to Sammy. "Thank you for tackling me. I am doing not so well since you tackled me. Hmm. Where have I been? I think I was reading a book somewhere and fell to sleep. After that I think I got lost, but I'm not really sure. I'm not actually sure how I got her either" Mai said.

"Hmm... Well, you seem very confuzzled, Mai. Me is sorry. sad " Sammy frowned, then looked up at the ceiling. "...Maybe you fell from the sky. That would make sense, wouldn't it, Mai?"

"Maybe. That or I had way too much sugar. I do remember that. I had a lot sugar the other night and after that I don't exactly remember what happened." Mai smiled. She loved sugar. It was one of her favorite things in the world. She was now daydreaming about sugary snacks she enjoyed.

Mai was no longer daydreaming about sugar. She was now staring off into space and thinking very hard about random stuff. "I wonder do people's brains work the same as other people's brain? I mean I think in weird ways, or maybe everybody thinks that way, but their minds are just thinking about something else." Mai muttered to herself. She was now entirely consumed with thinking about this.

Ike snickered sarcastically at Sammy after those words.
"Maybe I should of kept that to myself. Maddy might be embarrassed when she learns what she said."
Ike got to thinking more.
"Even though she wants another chance and apologized... it doesn't make what she did right." he sighed. "If she does come back to Aqua, she won't be the same Maddy we knew before. Mai, nice to meet you." he said. He then trailed off back to his room. Maddy wasn't the only girl he was worried about. It had been weeks since he had heard from Jasmine. (Not that they talk every night on the phone... in fact Ike was sure getting Jasmine to talk to him at all would be a major chore.) Nevertheless, it still bothered him.

Sammy cocked her head to the side, giving Mai a look of oddity. "Uhm... sure... I guess..." She didn't understand entirely what Mai had said; Sammy had a pretty straight-forward way of thinking, so she had never thought about such complicated things.

She giggled. Mai knew that her question would have been slightly confusing to Sammy. Her stomach growled again. "Um.... Is ther anything to eat?" Mai asked a bit shyly.

Sammy put on a happy face and pointed towards the kitchen. "...Just don't go near my secret stash of oreos... or else. evil " Sammy grinned evily, thinking about the goodness that engulfed her when she ate an oreo... Oh, the comfort...
