Scizor charged after Beedrill and used X-Scissor. It didn't do much damage and only knocked Beedrill back into the air.
Beedrill, high in the air, spun around and used Stringshot on Scizor, taking some of his speed away. Scizor regathered himself and flew up at the Beedrill with a Metal Claw attack. It hit the Beedrill hard in the face and knocked it into a tree.
"No! You're lieing. What more do you want from me? You already stole Celebi, my trust, everything." Ike spoke aloud again. This time Scizor heard and looked back at him with a confused look on his face.
"If you really mean everything you say... then you'd tell me where Celebi is." he demanded.

Sub just shrugged as he saw no one around and began to wander around the main area of Team Aqua looking for something to do. "Hmm, what trouble can I get into..." He said with a chuckle.

Sammy had started listening in to Mr. Ike's conversation with himself. Huh? What is he talking about? She wondered to herself, walking towards him. "Mr. Ike? Are you okay?" She asked, not knowing if he'd answer.

Maddy took a deep, shaky breath. "Celebi is hidden within the labs somewhere. They have so many labs here... They perform experiments on Pokémon here and it's just so terrible." She hugged her knees in close to her body. "I've been injected with the virus... It's taking over my body and I can't do anything about it... I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry for everything I did... I just wish I could make it up to you properly, but I don't have much time left... This is the last time you'll get to talk to me... as myself..."

Ike opened his eyes and saw Sammy talking to him, but couldn't hear her. Everything was so bright right now. Everything was a blur.
But Maddy betrayed Aqua for Shadow. She dug to deep into her own greed for her quest for a higher power.
But Maddy's been in contact with that medallion. Cynthia said that those items wanted to find a new host.
But she kidnapped Celebi and tourtured it. She nearly killed you and Lugia.
But she's not herself right now. I was in the same state not too long ago.
So many thoughts criss-crossed in Ike's head. It would seem he himself had split into two and neither could win the argument.
Scizor had finished his battle with the Beedrill with a powerful Iron Head attack and flew over next to Sammy. He was a little beat up, but he was acting his normal tough self.
"What's up with him?" he asked Sammy.
Ike saw them talking but couldn't hear them. All he could hear was Maddy's voice and a high-pitched ringing sound.
Ike's forgiving side finally won.
"We don't know where you are or where Team Shadow is located. How can we help?" he grunted with pain.

Sammy shrugged, looking over at Scizor. "I don't know... Should we try to snap him out of it?" She asked, hoping that Mr.Ike wasn't having some sort of mental break down.

Maddy sighed with relief. "I'm in the main laboratory. It's somewhere in the Orre desert. I believe Josec and the other 2 admins are here also. If you can defeat them, and the head scientist, Shadow will just fall apart." She flinched as she felt pain course through her body. "I don't have much longer... They have many Shadow Pokémon under their control. Some of them are even infected with the virus. It seems to be spreading quickly among every Pokémon that wasn't originally injected." She paused for a couple moments. This was her last chance to say how she felt. But already her eyelids were drooping. She could hardly speak now. "Ike... I have one final... thing... to tell you..."

"Orre." Ike said out loud. Scizor was about to crack a wise one, but instead looked at Ike with a concern. His former trainer had caught Scizor in Orre. The word alone brought back horrible memories for Scizor.
"Do you have a berry or something to snap him out of it? Like something that cures confusion?" Scizor asked Sammy. This was a rare sight indeed to see Scizor actually being serious.
"We'll get you Maddy. We're gonna save you. Team Aqua still has your back." Ike said aloud.

Sammy listened intently as Mr. Ike started talking about Ms. Maddy. She shook her head at Scizor's question. "No, but I've got this guy." Sammy mumbled, at the same time Squirt released himself, ready to pump water at Mr. Ike's face.

Maddy smiled for a few moments, but then she coughed and she could taste blood in her mouth. "Ike..." She felt the weakness taking over her, she was falling under. "I... love... you..." She collapsed as her vision went blurry. She could feel the darkness creeping into her mind, and she could feel Cyrus attempting to stop it. She smiled slightly, and then retreated deeper into her mind, where not even the virus or anything could get at her. As far as everyone else was concerned, Maddy was lost to the world.

"Well go on then and do it!" said Scizor, growing impatient. I finally took matters into his own hands and started slapping Ike around.
"Snap out of it." He said annoyingly to Ike.
For a moment everything turned white and as if someone opened a door, Ike awoke to his senses.
He raised a hand to stop Scizor's slaps. Scizor let him go and Ike stood up, trying to put together what had just happened.
"Sammy. We've made a terrible mistake. We need to free Maddy from Team Shadow's hold asap.... We need to get back to the HQ." he said, looking around. He was a little lost. "You know the way back to the teleporter?" he asked her.

Suddenly Sub's TADS went off and he swiftly took it out and read a message he had just received. "Oh, so that's what's going on...cool some heavy stuff is going down." He said with a smile and pocketed the device.

Sammy nodded, although she didn't know the way. Squirt rolled his eyes and began leading them; he knew the way back. Following behind Squirt, Sammy asked, "Mr.Ike... are you okay? What happened?"

"Maddy some how got to me and appologized. She told me where to find Team Shadow's HQ, too. She hasn't been in the right state of mind. Something about the Medallion and Cyrus, plus a virus... She told me she loved me. She must really be out of it. Ha." he chuckled. It felt weird hearing that from another girl. But Ike knew the only one for him was Jasmine.
"Maybe if you remember everything you've stepped on, we can retrace our steps back to the lake and to the teleporter." he suggested.
Scizor walked slowly behind them, dreading the mere thought of going to Orre.

Sammy nodded at Mr.Ike's suggestion, stepping on a leaf, another leaf, a rock, and a leaf again. She then couldn't help but smile a big smile. "I knew you and Ms. Maddy would get together!" She snickered, still hopping from on the different items. "You two just seem so... y'know, right. 3nodding " Sammy couldn't help but laugh at her comment, although she knew they seemed good for eachother. It was just so funny to say.
