"I am fine, thank you." She looked around, to see if any other auras were present. But there were none. "Team Aqua... That name sounds familiar... You wouldn't happen to be friends with that girl, would you?" She watched him closely, and then remembered something. "Oh! How rude. My name is Theresa."
Maddy entered the lab. It was by far the cleanest area in the whole place. A group of scientists turned around and looked at her. The head scientist gestured for her to enter through a door to her left. She examined the door closely. It was a heavy steel door, and it had several chains and metal bars attached to it. From the looks of it, Maddy figured that the door was meant to keep things in, and not the other way around. She gave the scientists a suspicious look and pulled the door open. She stepped into a dark room, which had only a single light, which was hoisted above a table with straps. A cold feeling went down Maddy's spine. They're going to strap me down? Is it really that risky? The group of scientists followed in after her.
"Whenever you're ready, miss..."
Maddy nodded to them and allowed them to strap her to the table. The straps were awfully tight, but she wasn't inclined to complain. All the scientists left and locked the door behind them, but one stayed. He held a syringe in his hand, the needle long and sharp. It was filled with a purple liquid, the virus.

"Unfortunately, Maddy hasn't been a source of great pride for us." Ginji sighed as he said her name and again after the sentence and takes a sip of the water he had originally got for Theresa. "I'm sorry to ask this, but do you know what they're planing?" he asked smoothly.

"No, I do not." Theresa looked down at her lap, frowning. "Josec, Ilyana and Dante liked to boss around everyone behind my back. My intentions did not match theirs, and now I sit before you as the former leader of Team Shadow." She looked up at Ginji, troubled. "I have some information on your friend though. It troubles me..."

Ginji sighed, he knew it would have been too good to be true. His ears perked up when she said something about Maddy. "Really? What?" he asked in the same sweet voice, not caring about the troubling weight.

Theresa took a deep breath. "This may come as a bit of a shock, or maybe it won't be a surprise at all. When I first met that girl, I noticed that her aura radiates strange energies. I assume that these were her strange powers that she came to ask me about. Anyways, there seems to be another aura hidden within hers. It does not belong to her. I believe that extra aura is what has shrouded her heart in darkness. There is only a faint light left where her heart once was, so there may be some way to free her. Do you have any idea what might be causing that other aura?"

Ike walked in the HQ, a little beat from his rough holidays with Marty. He had gone to spend Christmas with his godfather in Altomare, and while he was there, he must of tried a dozen different numbers to try to reach Jasmine. He had not heard from her in weeks and was starting to worry.
Ike spotted the lady on the couch and began to frown. He, for some reason, instantly distrusted her.
"Hi... can I help you?" he asked.

Theresa looked over as another blue aura entered the room. This one also had a shining gold light where the heart was too. She smiled at him. It was hard to believe that a girl so surrounded by darkness would have people like this in her life. "Yes, I'm trying to figure out what is causing the strange aura around that girl you all call Maddy. She has two auras, which is strange, since it suggests that she is actually two people. Does she have any strange objects with her?"

Theresa frowned slightly. "I am the former leader of Team Shadow. Maddy came to me asking for a way to control her powers. Unfortunately, I couldn't offer her any means to control her powers, but I'm afraid that the 3 admins do. They've taken control of Shadow, I don't know what else has happened though. I was knocked out while trying to escape. I believe I know of some of their plans though... Tell me more about that girl and I will tell you the few things I know about Shadow."

Ike stood still during the whole explanation but as soon as Theresa was finished, he grabbed two of his pokeballs and called out Lucario and Scizor. Ike and Lucario got into a defensive stance as Scizor just leaned to one side, not really caring that a leader of an enemy team was in their HQ. "Why should I believe a word you say?" asked Ike toughly, still hurt by the actions Shadow has done to Aqua. "What ever's wrong with Maddy, we can figure it out." "Ike... she could be an asset for us. We could trade information." Lucario whispered back to Ike. Ike only kept his eyes on the woman. He needed some sort of proof that she was for real.

"If you're really going to stoop as low as to attack a blind old woman, then fine. But your friend's heart is shrouded in darkness. If I knew the whole story behind her, then I may be able to use my powers to figure out some sort of way to save her. There is still some light left, and everything I can tell you may be useful in terms of helping her, and defeating Team Shadow." She paused for a minute to let the offer sink in. Then she added, "Also, I heard a rumor... It will be a bit disturbing to you..."

Ike stood back, more relaxed.
"Alright... I'll bite. But if this is some scam... hear me when I say that Team Aqua will give you the same fate Tsunami and Galactic had." he told her. Scizor sighed and walked away, but Lucario remained in the common room.
Ike walked up to Theresa. "Understood?" he asked. Blind old lady or not, she was still an enemy.

"Ill tell you the rumor I heard... Then you will tell me about this girl. After that, I wil tell you whatever you want to know. Just know that my information is very limited." She paused for a few moments to gather her thoughts. Then she continued. "The day Josec and those other two admins led the attack on that poor couple's wedding to capture Shaymin, I heard that someone had volunteered themselves to be a test subject for the Shadow Virus. I believe your friend was the one who offered herself up... If that's the case, then once she is injected with the virus my help with her will become very limited, even more so then it already is."

"Shaymin?" Ike spoke aloud, confused. He had never heard of such a pokemon. He would ask Thard or someone later, though. This was an opportunity. "Well Maddy..." he began to tell Theresa "...she has had a nasty cut on her hand for awhile. Her psychic ability did grow while we were traveling... As for your question earlier, she is carrying something worth noting. A medallion. She always had it with her." he told her. But now it was his turn to ask questions. "What does Shadow want with Celebi? If you're following Cyrus's footsteps, let me tell you it won't work."

Theresa thought for a couple minutes, piecing everything together. "The cut... it makes sense. It's a perfect point for her powers to pass through, which explains why her powers are strongest on her left side, I got her to demonstrate her abilities for me. And that medallion... yes, that may be the cause of the second aura. Perhaps if we got the medallion away from her it would fix things and let her light shine through." She quieted down, the thoughts still fresh in her head. She then attempted to answer Ike's question. "Well, it should be obvious what they want with Celebi. Time-travel is a powerful thing. I know they won't dare use the virus on Celebi. From what I've gathered, it's hard enough to control it's powers without the berzerk effect of the virus."
