I think so; I read through the rules section and Im still slightly confused on how Genjutsu works. In part because Im probably more used to the roleplay applications as opposed to the damaging applications of it.
Could you run through the basics; I get that Genjutsu causes fatigue on the opponent when they're caught in it; but beyond that I'm kinda stumped.
Genjutsu cause fatigue?
Nah, Genjutsu works just like Ninjutsu (in that they cost chakra, only taijutsu builds fatigue) except that there are a few effects key to "just gen" or "just nin" (on top of how you describe it, buffs that effect it, stats that reduce it, etc).
Checks for a Genjutsu attack are:
Seal Speedx2 + Accuracy + Buffs(1 Jutsu/ 1 Item, max)
Damage for Genjutsu attacks is:
Damage on the Effect + Seal Strength(x5)
Damage dealt from any attack is first halved and then reduced by either toughness OR willpower.
Toughness if it's a tai/nin attack, will power if it's a gen attack.
So gen is more often than not going to be reduced less and thus do more damage simply because "most people" will be more apt to put points in toughness than will power.
Fatigue is only caused by using Taijutsu attacks, suffering from getting hit by attacks is only ever hp/chakra loss (as well as other effects on a jutsu and the occasional effects of a critical)
