If they were to make a giant fighting game what control scheme would they use? I would be partial to Brawl, but a lot of people like pointless controls and moves and combos like in Street Fighter and Soul Calibur.

l-Kathulu-l If they were to make a giant fighting game what control scheme would they use? I would be partial to Brawl, but a lot of people like pointless controls and moves and combos like in Street Fighter and Soul Calibur. They wouldn't use Brawl's control scheme/fighting engine. Fighting game enthusiasts don't tend to like Brawl because *gasp* you have too much freedom. They want to be able to move left and right, jump only slightly and enter lengthy button combinations to do anything.

I kept trying to think of how they could put Viewtiful Joe in Brawl, and really, they couldn't have, because no matter what they did, he would be a clone of Captain Falcon. He's fast, he slows down time for a super strong punch, they look very similar, the red hot kick is a falcon kick, etc.

otawara True. :/ You know what would be epic? Samus vs. Megaman. CLASSIC MEGAMAN NOT MEGAMAN X OR s**t LIKE THAT That would be pretty awesome. I also had no idea how they could put Megaman in Brawl. Slide, normal punch attacks, his charge shot, and then what? His recovery could be Rush Jet, but what powers would he get (if any)? Would he take the powers of people he defeated? I wouldn't have minded X, but Megaman was my first choice. I heard he didn't get in because Nintendo was still mad at Capcom about the Capcom Five or something.
