Mars Eskara idk, I think the avatars pull it off alright.. And I've know about cure.com for a while. XD I haven't looked at it in months though so thanks for reminding me! You're welcome smile I suppose they work pretty well, but I'd love to see a larger good quality image... See I knew I was the last one to know about it XP

They're in the process of choosing opening acts so the dates aren't out yet. All I know is that I plan on seeing them for the third time cool

No, those are the games I plan on getting. I only have Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny and Hokuto no Ken: Ten no Hao Raoh Gaiden.

Finished part 2 of my sewing class this weekend.
The project: pants. Now THIS is relevant to my interests. >D
They're simple elasticized ones, and they're a tad large, but they look like pants, and I can wear them as pants. And I know once I'm not rushed by the timeline, my actual costume pants will bee 100% better. Once I learn about shirts in 2 weeks (and get a table to put a sewing machine on), it'll be time to get to work on the clothes...
In the meantime, I get a 4-day weekend next week (thank you Family Day!), which will be highly dedicated to all things Checkmate!cosplay, including:
- Starting to sculpt the polystyrene pieces
- Reading up on the pattern I've found (aka making sure I know what it's saying XD)
- Checking out the local costume shop for boots
- Looking into a good fabric
