I want to get art of a ship, but it's...well...saying it's a crack pairing would be a massive understatement...and I want someone who'll just do it without giving me the online version of a very strange look. xp o,o... Just curious, is this a shipping I'd know? @discussion: Honestly, angry misunderstandings, to me, are all about the motivation behind them. Neither of you wanted to be rude, motive is pretty pure. I see nothing wrong here and don't really get why it's being extended. 0^รณ You may or may not know of the characters, but...hopefully not the shipping. Seriously, if I, the queen of crack pairings, think it's too ******** to mention in public, then it would probably melt the brains out of anyone else. xp So far I've assisted in drawing Diedrich/Radio Jack, ClamSeer/Sentinel, and Tasn/Warrax with Diedrich voyeur censor. It can't be that bad. ouo Pfft. None of those are even crackships. talk2hand

And I really don't see how your post can literally be translated to that, all you literally said was "you lose coolness points for that". That can be interpreted in more ways than one, don't know if you realize that. ...Okay, yeah, I'll give you that. That one was my bad. And like I said, I should have worded it differently, so that was my bad too. Sorry for making things escalate like this. I feel kind of stupid now.

Foam, your post could be taken in a mean way, which is what we were trying to tell you. But instead of saying "Oh, s**t, I didn't mean it like that! I'm sorry!" you're arguing with us and telling us we're stupid or something for thinking that. No matter what your intentions were, your post CAN be read in a judgmental way, and that goes against the rules of this thread. It doesn't make you a horrible person, and I'm sure you didn't mean it, but I still don't think it needed to be said in the first place because it has the potential to hurt Raven's feelings... which I'm sure you don't want to do, riiiight? <3Well, simply quoting the "do not make fun of people for their secrets" rule isn't letting me know that my post could possibly be taken in a mean way. That's why my first assumption was that you took it in a mean way, and were telling me not to make fun of her. Also, a quick point of clarification... Any implications that were picked up that made people think that I was calling them stupid weren't intentional, either. When I told Jedi that he didn't know what he was talking about, I was only referring to the fact that both sides of the argument were based on misinterpretations, and therefore weren't grounded in reality. (Yes, I tend to be quite abrasive when engaged in debate. I should probably work on that.) To Jedi, sorry about the condescending, assholish behavior. Doesn't see why Night's thread was binned. I can't see anything wrong with it. He clearly meant it in a jokey way, just like Foam did when he posted the original bloody comment. Or maybe it's only be that realises attempts at humour on the internet anymore?
In other news, I hate snow. Stop telling me how much you love it and then telling me off basically for not liking it. I don't CARE! The snow is slowly making my life more hellishly difficult than normal and everyone whining going, Oh why do you hate the snow? Snow is lovely, is more than a little annoying.
You wanna know why I hate it???? Because when it snows nothing MOVES IN THIS ******** COUNTRY. NOTHING! Every ******** thing comes to a bloody stand still. I can't go anywhere, I can't do anything. The electricity randomly cuts out on ocassion. I live in a village in the country, my road has been gritted twice in 2 weeks and my parents won't let me drive even if I DID HAVE MY GOD DAMN CAR! Do you understand what it's like to be stucking away from all the people you love bar your parents? Who are irraitable at the best of times? The snow makes it WORSE.
Now stop telling me I'm a grumpy old git because I'm pissed I'm not allowed to see my friends (I missed one of their birthdays for ******** sake) and being stuck in my s**t hole of a village.

*hugs* I'm not sure what to say about it... I'm sorry the snow is causing so much trouble for you. It will eventually melt though, hopefully sooner rather then later. :3 I really can understand the frustration at snow... there have been many a times here when I couldn't go ANYWHERE because of blizzards and it being too dangerous to drive. Even after it stops snowing often it takes a while for it to be ok to drive again, and even then there's still snow all over the place. One winter we got such a bad snow storm that the power in my neighborhood (for some people not all) was out for an entire week. My house only had power out for three days, and that was a pain. We had to manually open the garage, which is no joke when you're talking about the garage we had at the time (it was almost impossible to open manually, but we managed it after a long while). Cooking was also annoying, we had to use the fireplace all three days all six members of my family + two cats were huddled around the fire for warmth. Also no electricity meant no internet. So I definitely understand why you wouldn't love snow in the conditions you're in... I love snow on occasion but goodness knows it can be a pain.
