Tracking the bikers through the bush was absurdly easy. The group -- there had to be at least two dozen -- made no effort to conceal their tracks, and even seemed to enjoy crushing smaller plants along the sides of the trail. The cruel disregard for nature was inexcusable. As my anger reached grew, the sounds of an approaching motorcycle roared through the trees.
I spotted the biker riding gradually through the forest a short distance away. Even in the dim light, I could tell the rider was heavy-set. "Hey, Chunky!" I called out, barely veiling my wrath.
"Whazzat?!" The biker stopped his ride and glowered at me.
"You heard me. Why are you out here? Have you no respect for the forest?"
"Why you arrogant little --" He grabbed his only pokeball. "I'll show you my respect for the forest!"
With that, he sent Magcargo into battle. The biker gave a derisive laugh when he saw my Bayleef appear to challenge him. My Grass-type was faster, however, and quickly turned the upheaved earth to her advantage with Mud Slap. With the overgrown snail fighting to see, it was easy for Bayleef to dodge its Flamethrower. Looking at the battlefield, I noticed my pokemon was standing on exposed dirt, churned up by the passing bikes.
"Nature Power, Bayleef!" The biker's expression sank as Bayleef drew out the power of the ground and landed an Earthquake. The powerful hit was too much for Magcargo, and the biker called his pokemon back in defeat.

Two of the bikers stood in front of Ike and Lugia, ready to battle. Ike could tell they were trying to act tough by hiding their fear. One called out a Seviper while the other, the one yelling earlier, called out an Exploud. No surprise there. Like trainer like pokemon.
"Just tell us what you're after and we might let you walk away." threatened Ike.
While the loud biker rolled his eyes and looked the other way, the other one spilled the beans.
"We've been hired by another gang." said the other biker, who was a bit on the chubby side.
"For what?" asked Ike.
"Like we have a choice when he has THAT on his side. We're here for a Celebi. This other gang wants it and they're pay'n BIG for it. Though... they wouldn't mind a certain prize to go along with it..." said the louder biker. With that he pulled out a net gun and fired it at Lugia. The net, though, was only a few meters in length and width, as it only bounced off Lugia's belly and fell to the ground, shot in vain.
"Damn!" cursed the louder biker.
"Lugia, whirlwind!" ordered Ike. Lugia drew back his wings and waved them powerfully at the two bikers and their pokemon. The opposition was soon met with hurricane-force winds. The Exploud covered its eyes and let out a thunderous Roar. The winds being created by Lugia were so strong though, that even sound waves were being diverted and not reaching it's target. As soon as the barrage of winds ceased, the chubby biker took advantage quickly.
"Seviper, Poison Tail!" he said. The Seviper followed orders and leaped at Lugia, swinging its glowing, purple tail around and striking Lugia in the face. Ike noted that it was a high jump for a snake. Must of had special training.
Lugia quickly struck back with Extrasensory at Seviper before it could reach the ground, and with the powerful attack from the legend, the Seviper was defeated.
"You're baby now." said the chubby biker, returning his pokemon and riding away. The loud biker turned to Ike, grinding his teeth.
"Exploud, use-"
"Lugia! Aero Blast!" cut in Ike.
"Hey!" yelled the biker.
Lugia drew in energy with a deep breath and fired the powerful blast of energy at his easy targets, blasting both trainer and pokemon into the sky with their motorcycle. Ike showed them no mercy.

Ginji stared at the balls that were trust into his hand. He turns them over as he looks from the balls to where Ikey had been a moment before. This was odd. Definitely odd. Even more odd was the skinny thug who wanted to battle with him. Ginji sighed heavily. "You really want to go?" the boy asked as he placed Ikey's balls in a pocket of his backpack while drawing some of his own pokeballs from the pouch.
The skinny biker tightened his bandanna around his head as he tossed out his first Pokemon. Sandshrew. Ginji really wanted to crush his opponent, he didn't seem to bright in the 'ol noggin area. Tossing a red and white ball into the makeshift arena in front of him, Larvitar appeared, baring its baby teeth to take on the new challenge.
Larvitar started off by gathering the dark energy around the field and focusing it into a pulse that caused Sandshrew to flinch. The rock type then rushed at Sandshrew and attacked it with a vicious Thrash attack. Sandshrew was already breathing heavily, but managed to pull off an Iron Tail that sent Larvitar whirling. Continuing in its rampage, Larvitar hits Sandshrew with a shrill uppercut to end the battle, Sandshrew defeated.
"Hahahahaahaha." the skinny biker smiled as he drew his second ball. Zangoose appeared to fight in the fallen Sandshrew's place. Ginji returned Larvitar and sent his Porygon out into the fray. The red and black Porygon giggled as it use Download to raise its own Special Attack. Zangoose wasted no time and shot a powerful Focus Blast at Porygon. The digital Pokemon took the hit and used a Conversion 2 to change it's own resisting type. Leftovers also helped restore Porygon's health a bit to prepare for a second Focus Blast from Zangoose. This time the intense ball of energy missed by hairs. Focusing on its digital psyche, Porygon launched at Zangoose with a Zen Headbutt, causing it to flinch followed by a Signal Beam to confuse the Cat Ferret. As Zangoose hit itself in its confusion, it knocked itself out.
"..." The skinny biker grunted before returning both of his Pokemon and riding off into the distance. Ginji sighed before returning his own Pokemon and headed off to find whoever it was he was looking for. Ikey.

As Maddy and Ike finished their battles, Ike returned Lugia with a sense of accomplishment. It felt good blasting a bunch of thugs away. His feelings of joy and bliss soon diminished as a recognizable figure could be seen coming his way.
"Great." he said to Maddy. "What's he doing here?" pointing to Ginji off in the distance. He awaited his unwanted company.

Maddy looked over at Ginji as well. She felt a sinking feeling her in stomach as she started to wonder what Ginji would think of her leaving as well. But the dark thoughts returned and told her not to care, and for once she had a reason to listen. She put a hand over the medallion as it glowed a bit brighter. "..."

In defeat, the biker made a move to get back to his cycle. "Bayleef?" My pokemon quickly extended a pair of vines from the buds on her neck and tied up the fleeing ruffian. "You're not getting away that easily, Chunky." I picked up his bike from where it had fallen, and the three of us started back along the trail he'd carved only a few minutes ago.

Ginji meandered towards Ike and Maddy without realizing it. Suddenly he stumbled out of some bushed and landed on his knees. He looked up to see Maddy and Ikey. "So I see you two have-" Ginji cut himself off as he took a closer look at the two above him. Who were they? They looked so familiar, Ike looked like Ikey, but he wasn't Ikey but rather Ike and Maddy didn't even resemble Maddy, well at least her Aura didn't. Something changed, something big. Where had Ikey gone?

"Where's the rest of the team, eh? Probably out to catch Celebi as well." yelled Ike at Ginji.
Little did they know all the ruckus attracted a visitor who was witnessing the awkward standoff from afar.

"What's this about Celebi? Chunky here hasn't said a word since he lost our battle." I finally reach the clearing where Ike, Maddy, and Ginji are. The silent biker is still tied up in Bayleef's Vine Whip.

Ginji's eyes widened. This was not Ikey. What the hell was going on?! "Celebi. So it is here." he mumbled before delivering his retort. "No, it was just me....and you. Or it looked like you, but he was...happy? No, determined." The boy babbled on as Ike's aura flared in anger. "And what the hell are you doing here?!"

"Minding my own business just like what you should be doing." said Ike grudgingly at Ginji. He turned his head to spot Thard. That spy. That no-good-for-nothing. Never around. Probably working with the LBG. He should of known.
"Don't play games Thard. I know your ties with the Brilliance Gang." said Ike, holding Lugia's poke ball up to him with a threatening pose.

"It's your fault I'm here in the first place." Ginji yelled, it wasn't true, or it was, but it wasn't, but it still was. He looked to Thard and shrugged. Giving him a 'there's no reasoning with him' look and grabbed Darkrai's Pokeball, it's aura glowing a faint black in the moonlight. "Is your beef really with him? If it isn't, then I'll be your opponent."

Maddy just blinked a couple times, to at least show some sign she was faintly paying attention. But she quickly distanced herself from the others, climbing up into a tree and sitting upside down on a branch, her arms crossed and her mind completely closed, deep in thought. The medallion was glowing a bit brighter, but not much. "..."

Eep. Wasn't expecting this reception. I tried to keep my posture and voice neutral and non-threatening.
"Ike? What's with you? You know I hold no allegiance to those crooks. If anyone's connected to the LBG, it's Chunky here." I gesture towards the trussed-up biker.

"You're lying! You..." he said, backing up in a position where both Thard and Ginji could be in his eyesight.
The small green visitor floated around the perimeter of the action, highly curious of all the tension. It finally found a seat beside Maddy in the tree.
"Aqua's served it's purpose. You guys are only in it now for profit." stated Ike, not letting his guard down to either of his "friends"... until he spotted a tiny green pokemon up in the tree with Maddy. I did his best to stay inconspicuous to the others.
