...woe betide you if your Sim goes into labor and her significant other is on their way back from work...if you want them to go to the hospital together, that is. o_O

One distinct point of fail? You're stuck with the preassigned lots. Mind, you can demolish what they've got, and you can change a community lot - for example, beach front park? Now it can be beach-front house! - but you can't add or subtract what they've got set.
...mind, that's not a truly terrible thing, but it does force you to be a bit creative.

@gin- Oh noez!!! I'm sorry you can't visit. But grats on the job! Save up, and we'll prolly have way more fun next year anywho. I might have my own place by then!
@jezzra- Cuz i threatened a minor, and they have it in writing. But i doubt the little bastards mum is gonna do anything about it. And even if she did, the cops wont bother with it. They don't even respond to break ins any more.

(Also? It sucks having too many games to play. I've got Sims 3, Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, Fable 2...got to beat those before KH 326/2 and Mini Ninjas come out too... gonk )

all you have to do if you get pulled over at night is
when hes first getting out of the car, scoot over to the shotgun seat of the car
it'll throw him so nasty, just be like
