I think Epic Mickey looks neat but it has more to prove, that's for sure. I just can't believe how biased IGN is being against Nintendo. I thought they were pretty good at not being biased, but look at that. Nintendo had, by far, hands down, the best showing out of all three this year, did they not? How is this even possible? How is it possible that a new, great looking home console Zelda only appears on a list of "best Wii game?"

Apparently it's not "good and evil" or scrapper or hero anymore, because they didn't want everyone getting their panties in a knot over Mickey snarling at someone. Still, I think the painting and erasing mechanic is neat, and being able to go around to Disney locations, meeting Disney characters without FF characters there is cool too. And the setting of it being in the wasteland of forgotten characters is interesting.
But we haven't seen enough.

Yeah, I'm still reserving final judgment. At this point, I'm just waiting for them to prove to me that there's more to the game, because the platforming has looked pretty weak so far.

I have a feeling that there will be some part or point with the game where I go "Oh, now I get it." But right now I don't. You're right though. He's a pretty badass game designer.

Waynebrizzle Meta_Fish Wow. And then IGN has a "Best of Show Nominees List" for E3 2010 and ******** look at it! Skyward Sword doesn't show up under "Best Action Game" or "Best RPG." What the ********! I guess Zelda doesn't count anymore. A nominee for best overall game is Epic Mickey. Really? Why the hell not THE LEGEND OF ZELDA. It's not even under "Best Motion Controlled Game." Kinectimals is though. Wow. WOW/nerdrage  Epic Mickey is nothing but hot air and hype (at this point). Oh, you can paint things AND erase! And then there's some boring looking sidescrolling sections. Neat. Zelda deserves the spot more IMO. No it doesn't cuz the demo sucked and blah blah blah Nintendo sucked balls blah blah blah Borderlands is better blah blah blah Halo blah blah blah Star Wars blah blah blah Sony did something original blah blah blah Kinect blah blah blah we're assholes with too high of expectations blah blah blah. And you know someone out there has thoughts similar to that.
