You know, it's weird. I logged on with my Mac with TF2 (and holy s**t I got... 4 FPS. Shiity videocard DIE.) and only when I logged in via PC I got the earbuds.

Yes and no.
Indie can pass itself off as a genre at times, but then again it can be a name for bands that aren't mainstream.

Indie cannot be a genre because indie is "independent" which does not share any specific musical elements with other music.

I always thought "Indie" was a term for bands not signed to a record label, but still manage to release albums.
