We've all seen the unpleasantness that is male avatars with skirts or dresses or bikinis I'm sure... disgusting, right? Male avatars were not made with the figure for that kind of clothing. Unlike male avatars, female avatars actually look good in the opposite gender's clothing and colors...

If you need an example... I'll use pictures of action figures of two guys from Fist of the North Star...
