Steven and Lanette both knew a lot was to be done with the samples, but now was the time to celebrate. Steven's Aggron started to build a pile of wood as if to create a bonfire. He had nothing to ignite it though, so he just continued to build it.
Ike moseyed out of the cave after nodding to Endo and everyone else had exited, keeping his words to himself. He did spot Maddy all by herself though, and he walked over to give her company. Ike had been thinking a lot about the membership and their intentions. Brian was gone, and the face of Aqua had changed. He couldn't help but think the team was going in the wrong direction by helping everyone. He understood how backwards that sounded, but nevertheless, he noticed Maddy had not shot him a disappointing or mean look and thought he still he a friend in her.
"Hey." Ike simply said to Maddy.

Maddy barely glanced up at Ike as he approached her. "Hi... Everything's changed so suddenly..."

"No kidding." said Ike as he took a seat on another rock not to far away. He stared out at the team which he lead and was now hated by. He paused for a second before continuing.
"You liked him, didn't you?" he asked. He wasn't sure if it was the right time to ask this, but it was now to late to close his mouth.

She looked away from him for a second. "Well, I admit I used to. But it's been a long time, I'm over it by now. I guess it still hurts a bit though, to see this. But oh well, who cares?" She turned to look at him. "So what's been going on with you?"

Ginji let out his Arcanine, who lit the bonfire of wood. "May as well be warm tonight." He smiled as he looked to everyone's face. They looked different in the growing darkness.

Ginji laughed from outside the cave. "I'm sure Lanette and Steven want to have some time alone now that they're engaged." he smiled. "And perhaps we've overstayed our welcome already. We better get back to HQ."

"I've just been having a lot of thoughts on Aqua lately... like... if we're so powerful, who would be there to stop us from doing bad things?" Ike said, just to list one of the things on his mind. "If we continue to help others and beat other teams, we'll become the one thing we've been trying to destroy. But if we do nothing, others will come and ruin the world..." he sighed. "Seems all anyone at Aqua cares about anymore is going out and beating up the bad guys... I just think with Archie out of the way and Maxie being a threat to no one anymore... Aqua should dissolve." he finally got out.

"Agreed," Cody said to Ginji and turned to Steven and his new fiance. "Congratulations," he smiled and respectivly bowed. He finally turned to Ike. "Welcome back sir. Maddy, see you back at HQ."

Maddy sighed. "Aqua can only do so much..." She sighed again. "I've been thinking... Maybe it's time I got away from all this, not permanently, but maybe just for a little while..."

"Endo. LEAVE THEM ALONE!" Cody shouted and pulled Endo away from Ike and Maddy. "You don't know when to let someone have their personal time. Just leave people alone when it doesn't involve you. Jeez. You don't understand and you need to learn before someone who matters gets pissed at you and kicks your a**. Or worse."
