Teresa waved while Quils left. Turning to the sink and washes out the dishes and set them out to dry. Drying off her hands she would go back to her room and pull out a Shadow Book. Getting back to her studies...she was going to be a teacher. She might as well prepare for it.

A dirty looking man knelt next to a small watering hole, his hands in the dirt and fiddling with something. Several clanks rang out and he stepped back, chuckling evilly as he turned around only to find a black palm being driven into his face. Id sneered as he took hold of the man's skull, picking him up off the ground and cackling. Suddenly he brought his hand down, driving the poacher's skull into the ground and silencing him. It was by luck that Quils had found the camp, it was by even more luck that they had spotted him and managed to hit him with a poison tipped arrow.
Id staggered a bit, shaking his head and breathing heavilly. His movement became sluggish as he stumbled forward, bearing his teeth at the approach of several other poachers. He hissed violently, leaping forward and tackling the largest one and sinking his teeth into the rough leather which encased his arm. Like a mad dog he tightened his grip, his teeth piercing the tough hide and breaking the skin. He tore his mouth away, ripping a huge chunk of meat from the man's arm and prompting him to retreat. His tongue whipped out at the blood on his face, a menacing look in his eyes as he proceeded towards the other violaters of the Black Amber woods. Even poisoned he could not let them get away, it was their fault that he had such a hard time finding any meat to sustain his animal instinct and now they would pay. Quils continued to urge Id not to kill any of them, knowing full well that even one casualty couldn't be avoided.

(( eek ...... twisted GO ID!! GO GO GO!!!))
Teresa was interrupted with her studing by the sudden voice of Mother. Hearing her song like voice echo within her mind causing her to drop the Shadow Book to the floor.

Dropping to all fours Id let out a gutteral growl. An apparently strong poacher had shown up, the confident laughs of the others giving a clue to this. Several thuds could be heard as a burly man appeared from the thicket, knocking down several trees with two grand axes. He bore clothing made from bear skin, the scent of blood still fresh on it too. The cleaving weapons dripping wildly with cimson. He was roughly five times Id's size and laughed as soon as he spotted the arrow lodged in Id's thigh. "What are you laughin' at tubby? Somebody poke you in that tub of lard you got hanging uner you chin? Oh my bad that is your chin."The bear skinned poacher became enraged charging at Id, his eyes and nostrils flaring wildly as he neared. Id chuckled knowing full well that even with an arrow in his leg he was still faster. As the axes came down he dove forward, rolling between the giants legs and slapping his butt as he came up behind him. Id dug his fingers into the man and climbed up his back, his sights set on the large throat.

Teresa's hands gripped her head holding it tightly. Starting to hear some of the Elders within this forest begin to yell and scream. The Mother...was screaming. What was going on? What was making the Elders and Mother scream in such a way? She could also feel hatred and anger boiling up among the two of them. A tingle ran through her body and then she utterly froze on the spot. Not making any movements what so ever as an image started to form within her mind. An image that was being sent to her directly from the Mother. Finding herseld deep within the woods hearing a stream passing by her. Hearing the snapping and breaking of tree bark. Feeling the sticky tree sap spread across her arms and face as the Elders that were suddenly knocked down started to bleed. Should I help him, sis? A young voice asked in her mind. Teresa got knocked back finding herself back in her room sitting before the fallen Shadow Book. Since when did Jacob return to Black Amber? Not a single soul knew about Jacob..well..besides Wonderland. Jacob was Teresa's adopted brother. She took him from an orphange a few months back. Finding him completely starved and sick at the time. You did not answer my question.. Stay out of it! I don't want you to get injured! ....if you wish, sis. Jacob answered. He was standing within the trees leaning against the trunk. Watching the battle between the poachers and the purple haired man below.

Id tore into the thick flesh, leaping back and spitting out skin and fat. His neck was to thick to reach the arteries within. The large poacher came around and charged once more. Id stomped his feet into the ground, paining ringing through his thigh. He held his right arm forward, the gauntlet glowing black and red at the same time. Dark energy becoming drawn to it. The poacher leaned forward, jutting his head out to slam it into Id. As skull met gauntlet a black aura consumed Id and the poacher. "DARK SURGE!!!" Id's voice rang out, his grip tightened and sent black lightening into the poacher's head. As the aura subsided it revealed Id, standing between both axes and the bear skin covered poacher lying on the ground, his head blackened and burnt. Id breathed heavilly, falling onto his knee as the poison took effect. He couldn't give in though. Slowly he rose to his feet once more, holding the gauntlet covered arm out towards the rest of the poachers. "LEAVE NOW, OR ELSE!"

Great...Jacob thought as he continued to watch from above. My sis's lover is poison. The man looked too big for Jacob alone to carry but Jacob was able to transform into anything. He could transform into a dragon and carry him..or simply turn into a demon and carry him that way. That is..if the man down there didn't take an eight year old as an enemy. Jacob pushed back his chocolate colored hair only to have the strands fall back over his one pale blue eye and one amber eye. His expression emotionless as he watched the man rip flesh off the man. Watching the blood begin to stain the earth..or rather the Mother. It didn't sicken him at all as if he had seen it a million times before.

Id coughed violently. The sight of their strongest member falling, urged the poachers to abandon their pursuit on the wounded man. Id hissed as their scent faded. He didn't know whether they were gone for good or only retreating. Clenching the arrow he quickly yanked it from his leg, glad at the fact that it had luckily missed any ateries or vessels. As he walked he limped, the pain from his thigh heightened by the poison. "Last time I do any favors for you." he said, speaking to Quils.

Jacob continued to stand there. "Then I suggest you walk the other way." His voice just loud enough for Id to hear. Jacob was tapping his index finger against the tree watching the man below as he limped. "Because your heading straight for them again and by the rate your going..it would be a slightly more difficult battle then that last one."

Id scoffed, pausing in mid step and looking around the treetops. He heard the voice and remembered its tone. He knew the way back but first he had to do something. Continuing to limp he disappeared into the underbrush, the bushes began to shake violently and then stopped as a deer pranced out, frantically escasping from Id's sluggish grasp. He sighed heavilly and tumbled out of the underbrush, almost crawling as he made his way back to the tree house, dragging a full sack of berries and other plant based foods.

Stubborn as a mule and as obnoxis as an ox. Jacob thought watching at the useless attempt of the man trying to catch the deer. Not even bothering to help the man as he watched him struggle back to his sis's home. You have company, sis. Teresa lift her head hearing Jacob's voice. Closing the shadow book she stuffed it beneath her bed. Coming up to her feet she made her way through her tree house and to the front door. Opening it and catching sight of Id's aura. Something was wrong...there was something in his aura that wasn't suppose to be there. Teresa opened the door fully open and made her way over to Id. His aura showing her exactly where the wound was. "C'mon! Drop the bags and come inside. I can get them later." Teresa urged grabbing hold of Id's arm. I knew I should've gone..

Id shrugged off her hold, shaking his head and knowing his mood at the moment. The poison had made him more irritable than before and he was already ticked off from the deer getting away. Making his way to the tree house slowly as he walked. He could still stand on his own two feet at least.

Teresa immediately let go and simply stood there watching as Id entered her home. Staying silent for several moments. "You clean your wound out then! The medicine is located in the bathroom the left cabinet!" she called still staying at her place outside her home. The sun was about to set..she might as well watch it. Besides..she didn't want to be near someone so irritable. She turned her back to the house and started to climb further up the tree. The top of the tree not far from her house. Within moments she made it to the very top and sat down on one of the branches. The sun setting filled her vision of aura's in brilliant colors..it was soothing.

Id grumbled as he stumbled into the bathroom, instantly dropping to his knees and retching into the toilet. He could feel the poison beginning to wane as he sat up, burping quietly and wiping his mouth. He didn't know the first thing about tending to wounds thus he shifted back into Quils who did not take kindly to the poison either as he returned to the toilet seat.
Moments later he emerged from the bathroom, his left pant leg ripped off and his thigh bound in bandaging. He left several blood stained rags in the trash recepticle as he made his way out to find Teresa.

The brilliant colors of the setting sun was greatly soothing Teresa down. Relaxing her breathing in slowly and then exhaling out the same way. Letting the remaining warmth the sun was giving off bath her. Not caring as the wind whipped through her hair blowing some of it into her face.
