No, they've lost the rights to it from the 9th season onwards. I think we're on the 12th. It's got new voice actors and there's not so much Americanization/censorship. The new voice actors admittingly got off to a rough start, but I warmed up to them after a while...probably because they're increasingly getting better and better. Team Rocket is still lame though...if the writers had just gotten rid of those guys, these newer seasons would be right up there with the first season IMO.

Ohh nice. I hate 4kids. They ******** up Card Captor to the point where I wasn't interested in it anymore.
They should've just kept TR in Kanto, imh. -_- They're not lame, just sympathetic and predictable.

Team Rocket is the comedy relief. The new voice actors are horrible, and I don't think 4Kids really blocked out too much from the anime when they were running it. Sure we didn't see the Tauros episode and a few others, but we didn't miss a ton. We probably still wouldn't have seen the bikini episode where James got jugs or the Tauros one because it had a gun.

I am pissed at the VA changes though. I mean, the first Ash was just right. I can understand changing the VA to express aging, but why Jessie, James and Meowth?

Team Rocket's new voices are the only ones I still don't like, which is why I think the writers should get rid of TR altogether. Other than that, I've warmed up to the new VA's, even Ash's.
To each his/her own, I guess.

Harupiggy There's a difference between comedy relief and being the chew toy.

There's a difference in how you liked a show as an eight year old and how you like a show as a teenager, too. You can't expect to like the show as much as you used to as you go through life. Sure we like season one a lot, but a lot of that is nostalgia. They changed voice actors because Nintendo took the full rights for the anime from 4Kids, so they hired their own voice actors. They all sounds retarded now, and yeah, that's likely due to me not being used to them. I didn't. I still wouldn't if it hadn't been for anime like Pokemon.
