A strange feeling swept over Lythia and she quickly clutched her head in pain. She could not understand it.... could it be happening again? But it never occurred so successively. Again, she felt the blood beneath her skin bubbling in anticipation, her eyes in their beginning stages of flaming. Covering her face, she turned to Bulma, "Sorry.. uh, I have something to take care of..." And with that, she ran as fast as she could towards the woods without stumbling. She still had a chance of warding it off.

"No one understands Konton. He is an enigma of evil. All that is certain, is his deep seated hatred for the Elven races of Tarnbsei, his desire to exterminate every non-demon on the planet, and his love of torture, pain, and torment. There are none whom know his deranged mind, and none even who advise him in his actions." Kenryoku shook his head. "Perhaps... perhaps if he simply was given Ashuri, and he THOUGHT the others had perished. My son would be set free, and Ashuri could later be rescued."

Bulma looked at Lythia as if she were suddenly crazy. The woman went back inside, catching bits and pieces of the conversation. As she cleaned up parts of the kitchen, she continually looked out the window, somewhat worried for the Elf.

Ashuri shook her head, "You can try it, Maeve, but I'm not responsible if he puts you into the hospital afterwards."
Trunks laughed, "That is Vejita, my otosan and Ashuri's cousin. He's a bit angry right now, with all the new people around. Not to mention a few annoying him beyond imagination."

Sallia and Aera giggled mischieviously at that comment. Certain few, annoying Vejita?
"I wanna be the mi-nor-rity..." Aera sang low but chipper. Sallia giggled again.
Xarik'n was so, so, so right, annoying Vejita was on the top of their list of priorities.
"Hiya Maev, I'm Sallia." she introduced herself with a wave.
"I'm Aera! Pleased to meet you!" Aera sang. Sallia was by far the calmer, more calculative one it appeared, and Aera was just ridiculous, nearly childlike, but her intelligence was dangerously hidden. Her eyes flashed delightedly.

Morrigan however was getting flustered. "You keep looking at me..." she mumbled, her pale, ivory cheeks flushing deep scarlet. It was more of a statement than a question, but it went both ways.

"You are no help," Soy pointed out. "And I am not going to let Ashuri make the sacrifice. Sometimes conformity isn't the answer, so don't go by what he wants. Go by what you want."

Kenryoku glared at the woman, "You face Konton in his throne room and tell me again that I should go by what I want."

Maeve giggled, "I think I will, what with my two kinhts guarding me, right?" She looked pointedly at he brothers.

Leif gave a sigh of defeat and threw up his hands. The memory of the table spiltting in two replayed in his mind. Great.

Thom gave no indication of giving a response; he just kept playing the tin flute with far more mastery and skill than Maeve could ever hopw for.

"Show off," she muttered, then louder,with more than a hint of sarcasm, "Your vote of confidence and vows of fealty are overwhelming me. No really."

She airly gave a toss of her head,which was spolied by the grin on her face, "Oh well, I'll just pull Empress rank on him, then."

Thom and Leif's eyes met, breifly, each aying to each other We're doomed. Quick as a flash, Leif unbuckled the belt around the girl's waits that carried her sword and threw it to Thom. Her twin caught in one-handed, still playing on the other.

"What the hell was that for?!"

Leif and Thom looked at each other again, "A safety percaution, little queen," the redhead said giving mock bow, "Remove the temptation before someone gets hurt."

Why could he just see Maeve wacking Vejita over the head with it?

Morrigan sipped her tea. "Well, it's delicious, I'm sorry for snapping at you. The ginger is addicting..."
And she wasn't kidding, at all, she was having a hard time keeping control over herself. Her teacup jittered slightly. And honey. Honey would've been good too... She mastered control over her hands once more, sipped the tea, and set them down. There was still something about her eyes that made her jumpy, and the quiet woman pondered over why that would be. She compulsively sipped the tea again, eyes wandering the kitchen. There had to be ginger somewhere....

Sallia mentally made a note: **So there's three of us...** she chuckled quietly, watching everyone. **Aera, Maeve and I are the hyper ones. Not surprising. And we're all after Vejita. Not a bad strategy.**
Aera was just quiet, spritelike, and like a gigantic, gorgeous spider or cat or something. She was a hunter, waiting... She had made those notes also, and enjoyed the sudden trio of female pranksters. It would be delightful! Delightful, she said!
