"What about Odin?" When she asked that, she took the baby dragon from his shoulder and cradled him in her arms. "He's all sorts of adorable." She smiled and scratched under his chin.

"Good. If he picked up yours, he'd be out of luck." The pendant around her neck caught some of the light and the little dragon's eyes fixated on the necklace. He then grabbed it in his little claws and played with it a bit.

Mari looked down at him playing with her necklace. "Whatcha doin' with that?" She didn't try to take it from him. He wasn't hurting anything. Just looking at it.

"Oh... Okay." She knew there was more to it than that, but she figured if it was anything majorly important he would tell her. Or at least she hoped. She walked over to the bed and sat down, still holding Odin, and leaned back against the pillows.
