Patting her sides with her arms Lahlil started to move to leave the building but turned back to wait for Rinka.
Rinka could tell by the sweat Lahlil had worked up, and the fact that she had kind of been watching her, that she had been training pretty extensively, so she wouldn't be bothered if the woman wanted to take a quick rest before leaving. Still, she seemed well enough to travel through her own suggestion, so who was Rinka to argue. "Lahlil," She'd begin, stumbling over the soft 'L' sounds of the girls name; the Oni tongue was a rough and abrasive language with little to no soft consonants. "Yes... We can go," she'd finish, following behind her new partner with a bouncing stride. Lets hope this mission was as pleasant as her teammate seemed to be.

And who knew what would happen if Rinka, a current ally to the village but not yet a citizen, would have blatantly disregarded a direct order. Thankfully, that was not the case. "Now then. Both of you, I ask that you traverse to Arashigakure. As you both are not strangers to, we recently suffered at the hands of a strange ordeal. I want a report from our fellow nation about how they endured their crisis, should their nation also succumbed to one." Chie's arms folded as she continued. "Furthermore, I would like a detailed report about what their village security looks if possible. Finally, meet with the Arashikage and ask if they wish to set up a meeting. That is all I need for the moment, thank you." She said with a bow of her head. The clone then disbursed.

tab It seems the hand of fate would make her job really easy, or at least this part of it, as Chie herself appeared in the doorway. Almost like the two of them talking about her summoned her presence. A passing glance of a thought whispered that she might be a genjutsu and she should kai but Lahlil threw that notion out quickly. Usually her visions were a lot more threatening than this, although the Uzukage could be scary in her own right of that Lahlil was certain. You don't just get to be named the leader of a village and be a puah over.
Lahlil listened over the mission details carefully before nodding to be both her and Rinka as confirmation ahe understood. "I'll.. head out to the gates immediately." And with those few simple words she was off. I wonder what Arashigakure is like.. I really hope I don't have to fight anyone or anything. Wooo just breathe.. You got this! Plus you need to keep up your appearance in front of Rinka! She can't carry tou through this whole mission. Even despite her inner pep talk Lahlil felt on the verge of collapsing from anxiety.
Having been briefed on the mission, Rinka simply nodded and ran off after Lahlil.

Unfortunately there was another difficult concept to work with. Magnetizing her chakra was a singular effort that had proved herculean initially. From that to this would be yet another step. Not only was she going to magnetize something, but she was also going to learn to transfer that. It was like setting a piece of metal facing north and south at the equator for a few decades and then lifting it. Only... she hoped it wouldn't actually take that long. Sevastiana laughed at the joke in their heads as she held the iron ball, highly magnetized, clearly. Falsa focused on it and on Sevastiana both. The transfer was odd, manipulating one of the universal forces was not foreign to her, just this specific instance was. So she took the initial power and sort of forced it to confer onto her. A few things to note came up. Number one, the connection had taken all of the magnetism out of her ball, and put it onto Sevastiana. Secondly, she had lost a bit of the strength in the transfer. She could sense the difference herself, but she wasn't entirely sure of how strong or weak it was. Further testing was needed.
Lucky for her it seemed an instructor took notice of her group, and decied to come along and aid her in learning some of the techniques, assuming she was one of the ninja of the village. She gratefully accepted his help going forward.
She went about learning some more of the skills in the bloodline at the academy, skipping over one of the less important ones and going straight to making a bullet. The basis of the bloodline seemed to be hazardous field control, and quick kill things. Not surprising the lowest level skill involved shoving a bullet into someone's face. The ball came apart into tiny iron filaments and she worked on the other skills using it like a tiny planet as opposed to the small thing it was. She worked a bunch of techniques out of this tiny little ball by just imagining herself as small as well. That way she didn't have to worry about it destorying a whole village by accident. Nevertheless, she was diligent as she read into the secrets she'd unlocked. As she manipulated her chakra she was for sure impressed. So much to learn in so little time, but she was making good on it. It wasn't like she needed to know every little skill, every detail. In fact, she had a niche in mind already for what she was going to do. More kill power, and hazard control. Nothing simply too redundant. The moer dangerous skills she learned in harmlessly small amounts. Along the way, she also decided to help him out as well, and the two of them worked together on learning some more techniques.
She very carefully instructed some of his students as a guest teacher, giving them a crash course in the basics of Katon, while learning the techniques along side them. It wasn't like she was actually going to struggle, like at all, to learn any number of these skills, but at the end of the day it was better for her to work on it, at least in a situation in which she'd be able to benefit from it as well. Chakra natures like fire and lightning were almost entirely all about destruction. She liked destruction, and had a predilection for techniques focusing on such. She smirked as her students kept up with her as she too learned some of the higher level techniques too. Some genin had decided to join on the substitute teaching shenanigans as well. All and all, they'd all be ebtter for it without a doubt. And even along the way, she learned some other elemental skills too. Things she'd needed to catch up on. Whoever could keep up, she allowed to do so. When she felt confident that she had done enough, she bowed in thanks, and received hers as well, and turned to head towards the entrance of the Academy, and from there to the office of the Kage.

Was this where he was supposed to be? Saekki stroked his chin in thought, and after thinking about it seriously he had to admit... that he had absolutely no idea. In his defense, though, at least he knew where he was. This was definitely the academy. The sign in front of him said as much. Was he supposed to be at the academy? He wasn't expected to go somewhere and fill out that... what was it that the people of this region liked so much? Paperwork? Yeah, he wasn't actually supposed to go somewhere else and fill out some more paperwork first, right? Man, why couldn't this be like home where he just had to find the strongest clan and beg them to take him in as a disciple? No, instead, now there's this whole burrata thing he has to go through... or was burrata the cheese?...
"Honey..." Saekki pats his dear partner to draw her attention from whatever, likely far more useful than Saekki, thing she'd been thinking about, "Is burrata the cheese or the paperwork?".

tab Though to most it would have looked like Honey was staring off into space at the clouds the young bear had no trouble keeping pace with her little Saekki. Afterall she always made sure to keep him in at least the sight of her peripherals, too many times now he had gone and gotten himself right and lost. Suddenly feeling the fur on her head ruffle Honey instinctively pressed against her masters familiar hand, and even licked it a little in an attempt to get more attention. "Hmm now that is a good question. I'm not sure but I think that way it sounds delicious! Say Saekki are we going into that building over there? Do you think I could go in first? I do so love the look on the little ones faces when they see me for the first time."

Indeed, burrata did sound delicious, so perhaps it was a cheese and not paperwork. This was the simple kind of thinking Saekki had as he responded to Honey's lick with a boop on her nose.
Was he going to go in? "Yes, I think I will. All the signs tell me that this is where I need to go if I want to become strong again." His fist clenched in determination, but he wore a sure and easy grin, a heck of a confident look it was.
"Of course, though..." Saekki took a step away from Honey so that he could give an extravagant bow, made more extravagant by his billowing sleeves, and wave of his arms to invite Honey to step into the academy first. "Ladies first." He gave a playful wink just before straightening up. "Be a dear and give me a good icebreaker, why don't you?".

"Back at the academy, feels like I was just here!" Emiko said to herself while moving back towards the academy. It felt pretty weird being here and not being a student but Kairi and maybe even the Uzukage had that feeling as well. She came across a bear...and would offer a wave before her eyes went over the man with the animal. The child let out an internal scream, He was so cute! Like one of the heroes from her manga! She managed to slip through and wave to him, her entire face red and hurrying inside so she wouldn't disturb him.
Getting down to business Emiko made a b line for the ninjutsu scrolls and began to practice them all or at least the ones that looked helpful. The first up were more trivial than anything but had their uses. She started by a simple levitation jutsu which would be targetted by a shuriken that had slid underneath the table. It would rise up slowly and into her waiting hands. Using this for another jutsu, Emiko tossed it up into the air and then made a hand seal as a gust of wind would redirect the trajectory to land to the right of her and onto the floor safely. Now on the floor again, Emiko focused on the shuriken for about the final time and made two handseals for it to be blown to her again. It took some time but the object was soon tossed into her palm but a gust of air summoned from her. After that, she moved onto the more interesting: reflection stuff! The young genin would took a deep breath in and hold it for a moment before then spewing forth a large gust of wind, strong enough to reflect most little projectiles but nothing like an attack coming her way. Now onto more fun stuff that was useful! She skimmed the text about a technique that would allow her to gain a good amount of speed and distance in a pinch. It looked pretty cool to boot! Emiko followed the hand seal guide include and felt chakra pour into her hands. In an instant, she rocketed towards the nearest wall, smacking into it as some books and scrolls from the next room over would fall down. "Uhhh, wasn't me." After rubbing her head, she went to the next jutsu and followed suit there. A medium siozed dome of wind surrounded her that would bounce any ninjutsu of its rank and projectiles away. Now for a fun technique. Emiko brought both hands together and formed a chain of hand seals just as a giant sphere of wind would form in front of her. It would soon drop to the floor at a size where she could ride around on. Plopping on top of it, Emoki raced around the room for a bit until it disappeared. Next on the list was a palm technique that could cause something close to her to regret it. She made the hand seals needed for the activation and brought her hand forward, a great blast of wind knocked over a training dummy in the corner. "Hehe. Piece of cake." [Kaze Nori [ Wind Riding ], Reppuushou [ Gale Wind Palm ] Learned]
Moving onto raiton techniques, Emiko gave a quick run down of how the techniques would need to be performed. The first was pretty fun. It would transform her into a bolt of lighting that could do all sorts of things! She made the appropriate hand seals and then felt a rush enter her, transforming into a bolt of lightning and bounding off of objects at random. As she came back to normal, a wave of dizziness came over her and took pause. Emi waited a minute or so for it to pass before working on another jutsu. With some hand seals down, dark yellow needles would grow from her body, zapping with energy and lightning chakra. After a while, she released it, spreading them all out around her. Last two techniques before genjutsu! Emiko would make another chain of hand seals to make a lightning clone of herself. Once appeared in a puff of smoke, she made another hand seal to activate the jutsu. The clone would freeze, soon bloating with chakra and then exploding in lightning came off and shocked everyone in range, including Emiko herself. The final justu was something a but more useful for getting away. She summoned some lightning chakra into her hand until chakra lines were visible, energy crackling from it. If there had been somebody present, she could press it against a limb and really hurt them, causing muscles to contract. All this time spent using lightning techniques had caused Emiko to build up a sort of resistance to them. Shocks didn't seem to bother her as much any more, and it would come in handy if there were ever any thrown at her. Remembering she was missing a few more techniques, Emiko would search for a few more things to take care of. Returning to Fuuton scrolls, she searched for a technique in general that offered more air control and gave it a try. She made the required hand seals and soon after blew to the side to push her that way. The chakra in her breath gave her an extra boost in that direction. Time for some offensive things! She brought both hands together for a long series of jutsu and then held them out away form the book shelf. What followed was a massive wave of chakra flung at the corner. Supplies flung everywhere as a result. Impressed with the power behind them, she went for the next available technique that looked powerful. She made the hand seals again and would shoot a stray bolt of lightning at the corner again. It hit the dummy with no real effect. [Zankyokukuuha [ Extreme Decapitating Air Waves ], Rakurai no Jutsu [ Lightning Bolt Technique ] Learned]
Spotting another bit about augmenting the lightning bolt technique into a continuous stream. After making the same hand seals again, Emi focused all of chakra into a continuous stream which bounced off of the walls and ricocheted in multiple directions. Cancelling it out, she flipped a page and learned the upgraded version of this tech tree. Again, making the same hand seals, she forced out all of the chakra in a continuous burst, the beam crackling with lightning as it traveled. Not wanting to hurt anyone, Emi cancelled it early. tab Feeling a sensation overtake her Honey leaned back on her haunches and used her front paws to hold her snoot before unleashing the MIGHTIEST of bear sneezes. So ferocious was it that her head shook from side to side. Looking back up like nothing at all happened Honey commented. "Mhm and I want to get strong as well so I can 'exchange' words with those from your birthlands." To emphasize her point Honey hefted her paws from of her face and took a few practice swipes at any imaginary foes who would hurt Saekki.
Only when Saekki mentioned that she was free to go in and scare all the little humans did Honey drop her paws in sheer excitement. Like a boulder that grew legs the bear barreled past ready to burst through those tiny doors when suddenly a rumble ripped through the air and quaked the earth she was standing on. Honey knew that it was serious because it didn't come from her tummy wummy. Doubling back so fast that she slipped at first, the bear was already wrapped around Saekki right to lauch herself at anyone dumb enough to start trouble with a bear. That is when she saw it, the tail end of a plume of smoke and light from an explosion. First looking back at Saekki and then again at the explosion she asked. "What should we do?"
Then on top of all that it seems this wasn't even to be the first of her troubles! A lovely, but even tiner than Saekki, human girl came along waving at Honey. Which to be fair wasn't much of a problem, but the facial expression she made at her Saekki? Honey tilted her head at the red haired girl and gave the equivalent of a human squinting. Perhaps she was overreacting however, it was so incredibly hard to understand all the expressions humans have afterall. Also she seemed so little? Even for a human. Needless to say her curiosity was set on her right up until she ran inside.

Saekki smiled as he followed after Honey. He called after her, "Thank you," for the thought and caring, but Saekki left that last part unsaid. Not like it particularly needed to be said, either. Likewise, he also didn't need to ruin Honey's moment by reminding her that he had long since given up on the idea of returning to his homelands.
It was as he lazily sauntered after Honey that Saekki felt the rumbling of the explosion. He turned in the direction of the commotion, Honey returning to his side before he knew it. His hands reached out to rest on her body without even thinking about it as he stared in commotion at the apparent attack and then at his surroundings, a nasty snarl ready to form on his face. Honey wasn't the only one ready to throw themselves at a threat.
He was overall too concerned about this new outcome to really notice that the flash of red hair that darted past him had actually waved and whatnot. He was torn. This was a fight, and Saekki lived for the fight, but he was so weak right now. It took a full-out internal battle, but in the end, Saekki glared jealously at the plume of smoke rising from the tower (what was that tower for again, anyways?) while ceding, "It doesn't look like the other students here are rushing to it, so let's just go in." If it was just himself, he would have gone in a heartbeat. Screw safety and all that. He didn't want to put Honey into such a lopsided situation, though.
The 27 year old gave Honey a smile and ruffled her hair as he took the lead to stride into the academy first... er... second?... Would Honey still be first even though she went in and then out?

Charvalla had taken the lollipop and was wordlessly rolling it about the surface of her tongue while sitting at the top of the wall, watching Michio as he progressed. When, naturally, he got there with a sort of inborn skill, she smirked but didn't further acknowledge anything else he did for fear he'd just begin a round of bitching from him. The Wayfinder looked to her teacher, who motioned for them to follow him down the otherside of the wall, where there was only a pool of water, no deck, no diving board, just walls and water. A pit, and it looked deep. As she saw it, daringly she jumped down and with a heavy splash she sunk into the twenty feet of water, in her home element.
"Okay..." her sensei admonished as she surfaced, more than comfortable as she moved thick, already knotting hair from her face. The island girl absolutely beamed. "Goal is to learn to stand on the water, not to learn how to swim dummy." He went about explaining the water walking skill, but before he could actually set them on their way, an explosion rocked the village, originating from the central admin office. "Stay here, work on what I just instructed!" he ordered before taking off. Charvalla, for her worth, looked to Michio, wondering if he too wanted to say screw that and follow.
Kenny was practicing his ice manipulation- absent-mindedly creating snowmen when a loud explosion rocked the academy. He looked over to the interior training area by the pool and noticed a teacher leave his student and disappear. Kenny straightened up his sword belt, smoothed out the wrinkles on his coat and walked over to the girl who was down in the water pit floating "Uh...hey! Do you know what that explosion was?" He only sounded a little concerned but still it was his habit of avoiding fights and anything that could make a boom that large was something he didn't wanna face down
