Amara stared at the young girl for a long moment before smiling and nodding.
"Very well, Rin it is then. Though you will have to get used to people referring to you as princess sooner or later. It is your title now."
Amara pushed off the wall she was leaning against, readjusting her massive sword as she did.
"You don't have an easy road ahead of you. Yamen ticked off a lot of people with this little stunt of his and unfortunately for you, you're caught right in the middle of it all. But he obviously sees something in you, so make sure you don't let him down, alright?"
Amara's tone was soft and gently as she spoke though her tone carried with it a strangely commanding presence.

Rin nodded, swallowing hard as she did. After a moments pause, she looked down at the ground and kicked a small stone with her toe.
“Thing is, I’m not sure that I’ll ever be able to be as strong as you guys are. If what I’ve heard about the previous princess is true, there’s no chance that I’d be able to match her strength either.”

Amara shook her head.
"Don't sell yourself short. The only limits we have in this world are the ones we place on ourselves. Believe you can't do something and you will continue to fail at it time and again."
Amara folded her arms across her chest.
"Yamen's methods may seem odd, but he is a good teacher. If you pay attention and work hard, he will make you into one of the strongest players in the game."
Amara closed her eyes before continuing.
"That being said, no matter how great a teacher is they will still fail if their lesson's fall on deaf ears. Understand?"

Rin again nodded, though she remained silent. At length, she spoke again.
“Well, in that case, do you have any tips for getting stronger quickly?”

Amara smiled and shook her head.
"There are no short cuts in this world. You want to become strong, you will have to earn it. Though once you are more proficient at combat we can hunt monsters at higher levels. They will grant more experience then base level monsters do. But they will also be far stronger then what you are normally used to fighting."

Rin blushed deeply and shook her head.
“No, that’s not what I…..I just thought since you were all so strong, you might know of a more efficient way to level and get stronger than just killing whatever mobs I can find.”

Amara sighed and shook her head.
"Remember, this game is skill based. Sword skills and magic but when it comes down to it even lower players stand a shot if they are skilled. Don't discount stats but know that they don't mean everything in this world."

Rin nodded, giving a quick bow before turning to leave.
“Thank you. I’ll remember that.” She hesitated for a moment, unsure of what else to say. At length, she gave another quick nod of thank you. “Well, I won’t take up any more of your time.” She took only three steps before turning around again. “Oh, I’m sorry, but….I don’t think I got your name.”

The young woman smiled.
"I'm Amara. If you ever need a sparring partner or have any trouble, be it in the guild with other members or out of it come to me."

Rin blushed slightly and smiled.
“Thank you so much, I really appreciate that. Also, it’s a pleasure to meet you, Amara. I know that I don’t have much to offer in the way of combat compared to you, but if there is anything that I can ever do to help you, I’d be glad to try.” There was a genuine nature to her voice that reminded Amara for a moment of the former princess. It brought with it a sense of nostalgia, but also a twinge of pain as she was reminded of what had once been.
Amara had not known the former Princess of Crestfallen for very long before her departure, but what time she had spent with her, she had enjoyed her company, and had found her a very agreeable companion.
Giving a final wave, Rin turned and walked into the entry way. In another moment, she had left the guild hall, disappearing form sight.
There was a moment of silence before Yamen’s smooth voice broke the still air.
“Well, now that you’ve had a chance to meet her, what do you think?”

Amara stared after the young girl, responding to her new companion without turning to face him.
"She is kind but she has her work cut out for her, that is for certain. This isn't going to be easy by any means, but I will do what I can to aid her, as I would any other member. Hopefully she will one day make a home here as we all have."
Amara's tone was soft as she spoke, almost seeming thoughtful.
