Shalendra stayed close to Valerian, she didn't trust her parents either especially after hearing that it was they who put her through what it was she went through. Uthorim sighed as he saw that things were certainly not any better, "I know you both do not trust us, and you have good reasons not to, I only wished to come here to make sure Shalendra was okay, not to take her from here though my wife probably had other plans" he said the word plans as if he was disgusted by what his wife might have been thinking. Daratrine kept quiet but stared at both her husband and Valerian with hate filled eyes, she crossed her arms and looked away not speaking to anyone. "Had I known she would be like this I would have come alone, at the time she seemed truly sincere in just wanting to make sure our daughter was safe, but it seems even after 200 years I don't know my wife" Uthorim said as he turned to Daratrine, "I think it best you go home, I don't need you making things worse", with a huff she walked out of the house and in a flash of light disappeared.

Uthorim raised his hands, "You can check me, I swear I left my weapons outside the house, I did not come here for a fight" he said sincerely as he stood there waiting for Valerian to check him. Shalendra looked up at her love, "Please, I think he may be telling the truth" she said gently to him as she looked into her father eyes.

Uthorim nodded as he lowered his hands, he then looked at the both of them, "How is her memory?" he asked with worry in his eyes as he looked between the two of them. Shalendra sighed, "Its still not complete" she said simply as she kept close to her love still not feeling completely comfortable with everything.

Shalendra looked up at Valerian, "No, you are right, I gained back nothing important because I never lost it, the memory that I love you" she spoke softly as she kissed him. Uthorim sighed as he thought about the methods used, "There may be a way to get the rest of them back, but I will not try anything till I have both of your permissions" he said simply, knowing that they did not trust him and he didn't want to do anything to cause him to be kept from his daughter.

Uthorim looked at them both, "The memories she has yet to regain have been locked away by our people's magic, I could be able to unlock them one by one, but, it will be painful, not as bad as what they put her through, but I'm not going to lie to you and say she will only feel discomfort" he said simply. Shalendra looked up at her love wondering if he would be okay with it, after the pain she had gone through, anything less she could handle, but she wanted to make sure Valerian was okay with it.

Shalendra smiled a bit as she hugged and kissed Valerian, "Thank you" she said simply as she rested her head on his chest and looked back at her father. Uthorim nodded as he looked at Valerian, "I have no qualms about you supervising, in fact I would prefer it so you know I am not trying anything, and besides, you will be needed to comfort her since I have a feeling she doesn't fully remember everything that has happened to her. She will need you there as each memory is unlocked" he said up front to the both of them. "I will also set up a perimeter to keep my wife from entering the house and any grounds within the confines of the house, I don't want her trying to interfere", Shalendra nodded, glad to here that Valerian would be there next to her.

Shalendra hugged Valerian back as she kept close to him, "So, shall we start this tomorrow? So you can do what you feel you need so you can be comfortable with this?" she asked her love. Uthorim nodded, "I understand, she knows better and won't try anything that could interrupt this process, she doesn't want to risk her daughter's life" he said as he waited for his responses.
