Caleb kept on glaring. The knife was no threat to him. The anger, fear and confusion, in fact, made him stronger. "Doct-
"CALEB!"
Caleb pulled the device from his ear immediately, and then put him on speaker so Phoebe could hear him too. "... You don't have to yell in the receiver."
"Oh..." One could hear his blush. "Sorry, I know, I was told. I forgot. It's funny you called, I'm walking your way as we speak. I'm with Clara, a sweet young autistic girl. Say hello, sweetie~... O-kay. Anyway-"
"You're WALKING?"
"Erm... Yes."
"What happened to the car I got you?"
"Oh Caleb I don't like those things. They're fast and destructive, and the things they do to the environment-"
"WHERE are you right now?"
"Um... Just coming up on the corner of Eros and Aphrodite."
"The Greek district... It'll take you four hours to get here on foot."
"Yes, but it is better than a car, don't you think?"
Caleb sighed, and seemed to be trying to hold in the pure rage he had. "You know, the reason my aura doesn't affect the two of you? It isn't the bloodline I'm starting to wonder... It's your sheer stupidity!"
"Wait!... What do you mean 'The two of us?'"
"Phoebe, she's alive, and here, and has amnesia."
"Wait, you-... You FOUND her?"
"Yes, talk to her." Caleb pointed the phone Phoebe's way.

Felicity hesitantly nodded. "But... He's a secret. He's only safe at this academy..."
Penny sighed and flopped a little, eating more broccoli. "It isn't fair. for a guy so amazing as him to be put through so much. He's saved so many lives, how could he be a threat to the balance of life?"

Pheobe glared at Caleb. "I think he makes a good point about cars" she told him, needing to pluck nerves a bit further. Her frown turned to a smile as she wrestled the phone out of Caleb's hand and held it to her ear. "Hello? Is this my uncle? I have no idea what is going on and I'm trapped on a rooftop with my childhood stalker who knows magic and teleportation... You ARE my uncle, right? Uncle Hughes, right?"

Jin looked over for a moment. Stupid, saving lives was a threat to the balance of life. It was called balance for a reason things needed to die! You let too many things live it upsets the natural order! But one person couldn't really throw it off that much anyway but still death was necessary and had to happen. "No, one person could not threaten the balance of things. If there were a million people saving lives all over the place well then there would be no death and it could be a problem. One person isn't a threat to the balance of anything for that matter." he said calmly and wisely. What kind of silly person would be scared of one little goody two shoes anyway? A rather weak one at that he figured. He looked at the women and smiled again looking relieved."Its good to know this place is safe then. I myself am not very popular." he said sadly. "It seems being different scares many people regardless of intentions you may have." he made himself look rather forlorn and upset now. Yeah..there was a damn good reason he wasn't liked but they didn't need to know that.

Clara nodded when he asked about her name and then grinned and nodded again at his second question. "Adventure~!" She exclaimed with excitement.
Her father sighed "Just, keep her safe, alright?" He asked Jeremy. Despite how annoying Clara could be to him most of the time. He did care for her, she was his daughter after all.

The man then grinned wickedly "Say...why not ditch the pretty boy, eh?" He suggested. "Come with me instead. I can be nice~" As he said this he put his other hand on Clone's side.
Clone's eyes widened even more and she shook her head, trying to free herself from the pervert's grip. Help, she needed help! And soon!

Jeremy looked a little worried at first, but then nodded. "Sir, I will do my best to keep her safe."
Moments later, he had her hand in his, and he was walking. That's when he had a call from Caleb, and that's when he had the exchange. Now there he was, talking to his niece and nephew, and hoped that the 'wrong people' wouldn't catch wind of this. "Um, yes Pheebles, this is uncle Jeremy. My goodness, I'm glad you're alright. Listen to me, I'll be there soon and we can talk about everything, okay? But I need you to stay close to Caleb at all times. He will keep you safe. It's very important, okay?"
Caleb, steaming, kept his calm, hearing Jeremy talk like the even person he usually is. It was good to know that just like when he was young, Jeremy was always there to fix the things Caleb messed up.
"Oh, I hope you get a chance to meet him," Penny said to Jin, "You seem like a kind person, he'll just love you! It'll be such a good time! Oh, so what do you do in your spare time?"
Clayton went over to the door and heard scuffling. Uh-oh, that wasn't good. He peeked into a window. Wha-... What was that man doing?! Wait, he looked familiar... Where is that hand going?! Clone looked scared.
HE WAS NOT HAVING THIS!
The door opened with a loud 'CRACK, THUP!' Clayton stood there at the doorway, looking like an enraged animal. He looked at the man, and then one corner of his mouth turned up, like a half-smile, but it was bitter and menacing. "Someone doesn't know when to quit. That's my property, and this guy doesn't share."
Without another word, he advanced toward the man and Clone, grabbing his shirt, then dug his nails into the man's wrist to get him to let go of Clone. He twisted the arm behind the man's back, and proceeded to choke him. He seemed to have such a force and strength that there was no way the man could escape. "Clone is my girl, b*****d, I ain't havin' no one touch her, ESPECIALLY scum like you, got it?!" He was seriously choking this man, if he was to do it much longer, he'd be choked to death.

Jin well almost burst out laughing but he didn't. Yes, he was the picture of kindness. Good, his picture was covering the darker one beneath quite nicely. So much paint required though. Oh spare time? "Oh I model. Many artists enjoy painting me and I enjoy supporting such pursuits." he told her with a nod. What was that? The truth?! My god how unusual! But he did like to pose. Such artists he chose worthy of his image had brilliant albeit short careers. He was a wonderful muse though he had never received a complaint (Come on who would?). "I also enjoy body art greatly. My very pale skin is a great canvas. Besides it bring a little color to my rather all white pallet." he said with a real smile for once. Yes more truth he really did like to paint his body in every way imaginable but that went without saying.

Clara followed beside Jeremy, smiling happily. She watched him talk on a weird thingy(she doesn't know what a phone is. xP ) and grew curious. What was that thing in his hand? And was he talking to her or someone else? She reached over to poke the device, not knowing that it would be rude to do so.

The man gasped for air and was growing pale. He struggled to get out of Clayton's grip but it obviously wasn't going to work. He slowly started to lose consciousness.
Clone watched Clayton with both shock and fear. What happened? It was like he turned into a completely different person. She saw that he could kill the man and panicked "C-Clayton!" She called to him, hoping that he would let the now passed out man go. Sure she was glad he saved her but he didn't need to kill the man!

"You want me to stick around HIM? But he's such a jerk" Pheobe protested. "He gets annoyed by everything I do and it's like he can't fathom I have no memory. People keep telling me we were friends but... How could I be friends with him? He's glaring at me now... What did I even do? Stop glaring or your face will get stuck that way! I mean what kind of friend greets their long lost and very confused friend with a rant and just... Ugh. How?"
She looked at Caleb and returned the glare, cupping her mouth to the phone to whisper. "Some people are even hinting we were a... a couple" she said with a telling blush. "I have no idea what's going on. You'll fix this, right?"

"Pheebles, I'll do my best," he said with a sincere soft voice, then noticed Clara finding the phone interesting, and he smiled lightly. "Tell Caleb I said to treat you patiently. I'll tell you the whole story, but in the meantime, stay out of sight, okay? I don't want you to be found out."
"What do you mean, 'found out?' Caleb called over, hearing Jeremy on the speaker phone.
"I'll try to explain later... Caleb, if you can come get us I would love if you did, whenever you're ready."
"You wouldn't have to if you took your CAR, doctor Hughes." Caleb sighed, "I am NOT a TAXI."
"Clara," said the other end of the line as Jeremy bent down to Clara and gestured to the phone, "Would you like to talk to the people on the other line? Or you can push the buttons."
Caleb sighed in aggravation.
"Oh my GOSH you would LOVE Luca! I don't know if you know him, famous fashion designer? Luca's line?"
"Penny, please-" Felicity found Luca annoying, but he was Penny's girlfriend.
Clayton let go of his throat, but otherwise he was frozen. His expression snapped from rage to confusion, then fear. He looked Clone's way, and he cautiously asked, "I-... I didn't-... Are you alright?" He asked softly.

Jin's attention was instantly caught. There was one thing Jin loved almost as much as himself and that was clothes! "Really?" he said and for once he was genuinely interested and excited by something. He rarely got truly excited by anything (anything that was innocent anyway and didn't involve manipulating people) He red eyes sparkled a bit at the prospect of new clothes. "I've been getting by for some time but I haven't had contact with someone with a sense of style for a while. My travels hadn't been kind to me in the clothing department." he said genuinely filled with mirth now. Yes it had been frustrating constantly having to change clothing for one reason or another. Frankly he had resorted to crudely wrapping himself up and throwing on anything black he could find and his umbrella was beaten up to all hell just to go outside in the sun. He hadn't had a decent wardrobe in ages. Meeting this Luca was now priority number one everything else could wait for now.
(((Jin's weakness is fashion xd prideful peacock just has to look good)))

Pheobe laughed when buttons started to be pressed and Caleb started to grit his teeth. "Oh stop that, it's cute!" she hissed, waving her hand at him to cut it out. "Hello there, Clara. You press buttons very well" she complimented with a warm grin.
"You can't get here soon enough, Uncle Hughes. I am so lost and I just... I'm tired" she confessed, not knowing why she felt so safe telling this man her true feelings even not knowing him so they spilled out. "I'm so scared and confused and just miserable. I feel so exhausted and my head keeps hurting and I can't stand this. I want to go home but I don't even know where home is..."
Tears started rolling down her cheeks as she began her lengthy confession, pouring her troubles out until she was gasping between sobs. "Oh how embarassing. To top this whole mess up the grouch has to see me at my weakest. Just what I need, more glaring for being alive" she sniffed.

Clara had pushed a few buttons on the phone with a fascinated expression. "Oh~" She grinned and giggled when the lady-voice complimented her on her button-pressing. She heard the lady say she was tired and perked up "Take nap?" She suggested, obviously not comprehending what was going on at the moment.

Clone watched the unconscious man fall to the floor. "U-uh..." She stopped herself from wrapping her arms around Clayton "Y-yes I'm fine." She stammered. Her tail swished side to side nervously. What happened? Oh she was so puzzled and her heart was still racing from the wave of fear she had felt just moments ago.

"Oh, yes, hold on then!"
"Penny really-"
"Nono, Felicity, this is great! Luca is in town for a runway, he'll just love to come I'm sure! Hello Luca? Fashion emergency, can you come to the-... Peacock... Ah, albino? No, like, REALLY albino... More of a Fall than a Summer... Um, layers? Full body. What? Already?"
Just then a young man with a gold hoop earring in the right ear and an auburn color hair with caramel in the underpart of the layers rushed in panting with a phone to his ear. "Penny dear... Fashion plays no second seat to anything, now where is this emergency?"
Penny blinked, closed her phone, then pointed with a smile to Jin.
Clayton sighed, and looked at Clone helplessly. "I'm... I'm sorry. I shoulda told ya-... Sometime I got these blackouts see, an'... Well, ya saw. But I don't really know whut I do in my blackouts. B-but I promise, I won't eva hurt ya. I'm gettin' better, an' its been a long time since I hurt anyone I care about it's just- when I saw that guy on ya I just- I couldn't-..." He sighed. "I'll... I'll leave now... Sorry, Clone. Girl like you got no business with a... Guy like me. Yer too good fer that, I was bein' selfish." He turned then to leave.
"God I hate cute," Caleb muttered, watching the disgusting display take place. When Phoebe mentioned her head hurting Caleb felt a pang of guilt... Then he saw her tears and he looked away. This was his fault. All his fault. Damn it, he did this to her.
"Oh, Clara, that's a wonderful idea." Jeremy said, stroking Clara's hair back once. "Caleb, you should let Phoebe go to bed, have Derek watch over her while you help me go to Ackrland and we'll be back by the time she wakes up. After some time away, perhaps that will help the two of you sort of start over?"
Caleb sighed, and looked at Phoebe. The first look of tenderness came to his eyes, but left almost immediately. "Fine, doctor Hughes. I'll take Phoebe to bed. Just stay where you are and don't TALK to anyone."
"Goodness Caleb, you talk to me like I was born yesterday."
"Sometimes I wonder," Caleb muttered, then took the phone from Phoebe and hung up without another word and put his phone away. "You heard the doctor, let's put you to bed."

Well that was a flurry of activity. The the man came rushing in and Jin smiled. He stood up a bit and fanned his tail out all the way. "Very pleased to meet you My name is Jin." he said with a charming smile. Oh what a cute passionate one, artists were one of his favorite toys. "Yes most of my clothes were damaged in my travels this measly tank top and pants is all I have left. Since I'm albino it's difficult to find clothes that cover me up completely when I'm outside but that I can remove easily once indoors. I really don't like to cover myself up inside and well I'm sure an artist of your talent can help me. I've heard wonderful things about you." he took as small bow now before righting himself. He was a delight to behold, he felt stronger just in his presence.
