Kaoru turned toward him. "I will be acting as a medium and transport you into her mind, as long as I have a hold on her you will stay connected. But if I lose the connection you and I are mostly likely to be torn apart from the inside out." He said sternly. "Whenever you're ready place a hand on my shoulder close your eyes and focus on what you want done."

Leon gulped. "O..kay..." He put his hand hesitantly on his shoulder and closed hsi eyes, focusing one entering her mind. He opened them and saw he was in there. He looked around. "Rei...?" He started running.

The area was dark at first but as Leon ran there was a light that opened into a wide field on the outskirts of a small town. In this field there were hundreds upon hundreds of dandelions that sent their seeds into the sky. In this field there was a boulder that jutted above the weeds, a small child sat there hugging her knees.

Leon looked at the sight before him. He sighed, his mind-world was a torn up battle field. HE ran over looking. He saw the small child and ran over. He stopped a foot away and looked at her. "Hey, are you okay? Have you seen rei?" He frowned.

The child slowly lifted her head to him, barely enough to see her eyes. "Rei is told not to talk to strange people, yet you came to see Rei." She states standing up, she was wearing sky blue, worn out sun dress, in her hand was a flower that had not yet bloomed, picked from the field around them. "Who are you?"

Leon spoke softly, hiding his panic as he tried not to upset her."I'm rei's friend, Leon. She's my good friend adn I want to help her. Are you lost?" He asked smiling.

The child tipped her head to the side and stared at him as she looked him over. "Rei knows why you're here, and Rei is not lost. But you are not familiar." She said, speaking in third person to Leon. "Rei would rather play a game." She said giving him a stern look of disbelief.

It finally clicked in his mind. "Your rei aren't you?" He thought for a moment. "Okay, let's play a game. What games do you like? I'll play one with you." He smiled at her.

Kalina looked at the the three, deep in concentration, she hopped off fang, and stepped towards them. She paused for a moment, as if she was about to do something stupid, then she reached out and grasped Kaoru's shoulder, closing her eyes. She opened them to see the field, as well as Leon and a little girl. she was a bit away, and out of eyesight, "So this is what it is like inside a mind," she thought to herself, as she slowly and quietly walked towards to two.

Rei smiled brightly after he agreed to play a game. "Yay! We could play tag and checkers or hide and seek, maybe even...." Before she could list off another childish game her smile disappeared and she stared off into the field. Rei clenched her fists as the wind picked up wildly, sending all the dandelion seeds into the air at once leaving behind the dead plants. "Someone's here." She said making the winds roar louder.

Leon was shocked when she suddenlly got mad. "Don't worry! Calm down! Look, why don't you think of a game you want to play and I'll go ask the other person to leave." HE smiled at her before running over to where kalina was. "What are you doing? Leave! NOw! I need to help her carefully your making her upset. Talk to karou I'll help her in here." He said carefully waiting for her to leave and making sure rei didn't overhear.

Rei calms down a bit and lets the wind die back down again. "Ok." She says a still a little on edge before kneeling down in the ruined remains of the flowers, now only dirt stood in their place. She began to hum and rock her head back and forth with the tune as she drew a picture in the ground.

"Simple, clsoe your eyes, focus on your normal body and remove your hand." He looked back to check on rei who was playing in the dirt. He smiled.

Rei stared down at the drawing she had made and stopped humming. With her left hand she smeared the dirt over it with one clean swipe, the image was still recognizable though. Rei then stood up and spread her arms to each side of her, lightly hopping on each foot around the rock. "Tsun tsun dere tsun dere tsun tsun." She said while smiling and laughing to herself.
