Amy led Pancake to the pasture. As she took off the halter, Amy spoke. "I don't know Viv..Pancake seems upset about something. Just a couple of minute ago she was as happy as a horse." Amy said as she checked Pancake over for some any injuries incase something was bothing her. When she finished checking she shook her head sightly. "Nothing's wrong with you there girl." Amy said to Pancake.
Pancake snorted softly. Once Amy was finished, Pancake walked slowly into the pasture. She then quickend her pace and soon was at a slow trot. As she came to the tree she bowed her head, and nipped at the grass, not really hungrey as she usualy was.

Vivian studied Pancake as well. "Nothing seems to be wrong with her physically..." She said. After a minute or so she sighed. "Well, we can check to see how she is a little while, but we need to go pack and get everything ready. Come on." She said, then turned back to the stable.
Ella snorted and trotted after Pancake, nickering to her. "Don't pay any attention to her, she was just trying to get to you...you know how Majestad really feels." She said, lowering her head to graze beside her.
Majestad lay on the floor of his stall, thinking. What had gotten Pancake so upset? He had only talked to Rose breifly...

Amy sighed then nodded. "Race you back?" Amy said grinning, already starting to run back to the stable.
Pancake looked up at Ella as she came. "He doesn't even realize what she was trying to do." Pancake snorted. Pancake did have to admit that she was jealous how Rose was talking. It made her mad. She got mostly jealous when mares acted like that.

Vivian smiled and raced after Amy. quickly catching up to her. The ended in a dead tie at the stable. "Nice race." She said, catching her breath. The walked into the stable, grabbing new bandages and salve from the tackroom, and went to Majestad's stall. "Alright, boy, I need to swap your bandages now. Up you go." She said.
Majestad snorted and got to his feet slowly. She sighed heavily and nuzzled Vivian as she entered his stall. He stood quietly as she changed out the slightly blood-stained ones for new, clean bandages, applying salve to his wounds, especially the deep one on his rump. He winced slightly as the salve stung his wounds, and also noticed that Rose was watching out of the corner of his eye, but didn't pay her any mind.
Ella snorted and smiled slightly. "Stallions are shallow." She said, chuckling to herself. "You want me to chew her out for you when we're put back in the stable?" She offered, smiling mischeviously and looking at Pancake sideways.
Vivian finished rewrapping his wonds and gave him a sugarcube from her pocket. She hugged his neck for a moment, then patted his muzzle and left his stall, closing the door and locking it. She turned back to Amy with a sigh. "So...now the tack?" She suggested.

Amy helped Vivian clean his wounds. He was already starting to get much better. Amy nodded. "Sure." She said starting to go to the tack room. "We have to have the covers on them after we clean them so they don't get dusty." Amy said.
Pancake smiled a little. "Yeah I know. Nah it's fine Ella. Thanks anyways." Pancake snorted, returning to graze.

Will needed no further explaination to what was going on. She knew that she needed to get both Shadow and Cougar ready for tomarrow. Slipping her violin back in its case, Will gathered Cougar's western saddle, his pad, and saddle bags that would contain other things things besides a first aid kit. Making sure that halters where on Shadow and Cougar, Will grabbed a dressage whip, a ludge rope, and a lead rope. Clipping the lead to Shad's halter, Will lead her out to the outdoor arena, where she propped the whip on the railing, and fastened the ludge rope on Shadow's halter. Commanding Shadow to stay in one spot, Will backed away, with the dressage whip in hand, until she was a good distance away. Softly cracking the whip, Will got Shadow to walk. Will kept Shadow walking in circles until Shadow began to toss her head. Cracking the whip louder, Shadow moved into a trot, then a canter, and finally, a breezing gallop, with each louder crack of the whip. Feeling that Shadow had enough exercise for the moment, Will un-clipped the lunge rope, and led Shadow to the confines of her stall, next to Cougar. Will put back the lundge rope and dressage whip, and groomed Shadow. After grooming Shadow and Cougar, Will went to the house to get packed with one saddle bag in her hand. Racing up the stairs, Will saw Tom out of the corner of her eye sitting out side her room. Will breezed past him, to start packing. Will chose the only things she needed: clothes, pjs, sleeping bag (which she can tie on to the back of her saddle), hairbrush, toothpaste, toothbrush, her violin, and a couple spare heavy duty ropes. Tugging on some spare cowboy boots, jeans, and a random flannel shirt, Will plaited her hair into two separte braids, each with a ribbon. Topping it off with a dark western hat, Will suryed her self. ""I look pretty good!! Not bad for the first time!!!"" Will smiled, and walked to the door, where she waited for Tom to speak to her.
Shadow snorted. She felt good to be exertised, cuz she has benn cooped up in the stall too long.....Shadow let loose a high pitched whinney, which she expacted no answer. So far, in response, she got a rumble and a snort for Cougar next door to her.

Ella snorted. "Eh. I'm going to anyway." She said mischeviously, then she too returned to her grazing, tearing at the grass greedily.
Vivian laughed. "I know, I know." She said jokingly, then grabbed Ella's western tack from the tackroom and took it to where she found a bridle hook and a saddle stand. She filled a bucket with water and grabbed a bar of saddlesoap and a sponge along with a toothbrush. She then sat down and began to take apart the bridle, undoing all the straps and setting each piece aside,. Once she was finished she cleaned each part individually, the leather straps with the sponge and saddlesoap and the bit with the toothbrush. She then proceeded to completely put the bridle back together, rebuckling the straps to their exact places beforehand and then inspecting it for mistakes. Satisfied, she hung it up and began to work on her saddle, which took alot less time. She covered the sponge in saddlesoap again and just scrubbed it all over, then wiped it down with water and a washcloth. She then put her black cover over her saddle, slung the bridle over her shoulder and walked over to Amy. "So, does your dad have a spot designated for tack and stuff or are we all taking our own personal trailers? I'm not going to bother exercising Ella again today. She needs to save her energy." She said, holding her saddle in her arms.

The girls washed their saddles and bridles each peice of their tack, making sure they got all the dirt and dust off, as long as making it shine. The two of them laughed and told jokes as they cleaned their tack. Finaly once they where both time, which was at the same time, Amy put Pancake's gold saddle on the saddle hook, right inback of Viv's. Amy noticed that their was a water drop running down the bridle, so she quickly just swipped it away, before hanging it over her shoulder. "Hm, I'm not sure. I think I remember asking him that question and all he said was he didn't mind. We could fit at least three horses in our trailer, along with two more trailers of ours." Amy said. "So are you going to bring a trailer or our you coming with us?" Amy asked, as she hung her bridle underneath her saddle blanket.
Tom was now downstairs. "Um, Will, you know that where not going today right?" He said rasing an eyebrow at his adoted daughter.

Vivian shrugged and smiled. "I guess I'll go with you guys if there's room. Less to drive back." She said with a smile. She sighed. "So, is there a place in the trailer for all this stuff?" She asked as she started walking towards the stable doors. slipping into the tackroom and grabbing Ella's woven wetsern saddle blanket.
((Argh, writer's block... O_o ))

Amy nodded. "My friend's mother had parked a little trailer outside next to the pasture to put our tack in." Amy said poining to the trailer across the street.

Vivian smiled. "Cool." She said and walked over to the trailer with Amy. "Will all our baggage go in here too or are we just going to hold on to that ourselves?" She asked her while they loaded their tack up into the trailer. Once finished putting the bridles, saddles, and saddle pads in, they went back to gather up their grooming supplies and anything else they would need for their horses.
Ella snorted and lifted her head as she saw the girls walking past the pasture. She nickered once, then bolted to the gate and whinnied to them in greeting.

Amy nodded. "Yep it will all fit." Amy said. "Should we wash our grooming tools?" Amy asked as she took Pancake's grooming box.
Pancake snorted and chewed her food before trotting after Ella.

"Oh. Well, it is not a problem, becasue i can sleep in these clothes. I don't mind if they get rumpled." Will grinned and and bounded behind Tom with some empty saddlebags in her hand. "Hey, Tom, do you mind if i bring Shadow and Cougar with us? I don't want Shadow to get left behind and not have someone clean her stall......." Will ducked into the stable, almost bumping into Amy and Viv. "Um..sorry Amy, andd...?" Will dashed to get everything together before tomarrow, and made sure thzt the saddlebags containing everything that she needed (except her clothes, her clothes are in a backpack that she's going to have on her back.) for the horses.
Both Shadow and Cougar snorted.
""Why is Will putting a collar and leash on Siam, and a halter and lead on me?? I didn't do anything!!"" "What's happening?" mewwed Siam, pacing back and forth on Shadow's back. "I don't know, Siam. But Will is a good owner, she wouldn't leave us here if she's going somewhere." that answer seemed to calm Siam down as she laid on Shadow's back.
""Will!! Why are you tying up Fred?! Fred doesn't need to be tyed up!!"" Fred bleated helplessly as Will put a halter and lead rope on his head. Cougar Nuzzled Fred's flank and calmed him down as Will put his halter on and clasped a lead to it. "It's going to be okFred, it's ok. See? I'm getting tyed up too."

Vivian looked after Will and called. "I'm Vivian! Nice to meet you!" She said after her, a bit bewildered, then turned to Amy again. "Nah, I don't think we should. There just going to get all dusty and dirty again anyway on the cattle drive." She said, grabbing Ella's grooming box as well and heading back to the trailer. They loaded those up as well, then turned back to the house. "I guess we should pack our clothes and stuff up for ourselves now that the horses are taken care of. I'm going to bring my guitar so I can play it while out there. I don't think I even told you I played...." She said thoughtfully. She turned her head to look at Ella and Pancake and smiled. "Hey girls!" She called back.
Ella pricked her ears up towards Vivian and whinnied again.

Will glanced at her violin. ""maybe i should bring it with me, so i can accomany Viv; cattle like fiddles, and soothing music.."" Will packed her violin along side the other stuff she packed for the trip.
