No, I mean a steampunk setting on another planet. Rise of Legends (a game) is one example. Cyber punk is more dystopian.
And yeah, I think a London setting would be better. I'm not too well versed in the Philledelphia ones and the alternate planet one would end up becoming a normal sci-fi RP except with steam and clockwork instead of blasters, etc.

If you could set one up, that would be fantastic, thanks. I'm not very good at setting up RP's. Apparently I can make a really great story, but I'm far too detailed with rules and stuff.

Ok then, are we going with the usual "Charles Babbage succeeds" storyline or the "Charles Babbage steals technology from a time-traveller" storyline? We could even try a different form of it, but I can't think of any examples off the top of my head right now. Choose one of them and I'll write a storyline, including backstory, history and NPC info, for you to make into an RP.

ummm...I'm more for people trying to figure out how to time travel, not really time traveling itself. More of a airship and steam powered cybernetics sort of thing.

So shall we say a cross between the normal "Charles Babbage succeeds" storylines with a sort of "The Time Machine" (1960) addition to it?
I'll start writing it now and I'll ammend it with your answer if need be.

Really? He's the main focus of a lot of Victorian-era steampunk things. He's regarded as the inventor of the first programmable computer, the difference engine, but he couldn't build it because of a lack of funding. They've only recently built a fully working difference engine made entirely from things that were available in the victorian era.

Right then, let me know when you have that ready...
In the mean time, how about a BioShock rp?

My assessment is finished so I can finally continue writing the backstory for it. I'll have it PM'd to AAS tomorrow, should nothing get in my way.
