"O..okay..that sounds good," Alucard gave a weak laugh. He knew that he should be more jubilant over the plans, but it just didn't have the same appeal to him when he was still scared, "I think...maybe sleep will help.."

He knew that in a lot of his dreams, he was able to escape by sleeping. He was still confused as to why he would have a dream within a dream. But he was beginning to wonder if those were dreams or in fact reality. He started to think about it, trying to put it all together. The more he thought about it, the more he believed that the dreams were indeed for real, which caused him to tremble within Loralei's hold, "Loralei, is...is it real...is it all real...the bigger me? Does he really exist?"

Alucard's beady eyes widened, and then closed as he shivered even more. The memories that he had of his dreams ran through his mind, though from a point of view that accepted it as reality. His life, as his younger self, seemed like a lie to him. It depressed him to learn that he was never meant to live as his younger and happier self, and in actuality was meant to live as the mean adult that he hated so much. The dark tendrils wrapped around him, making him transform into the larger crow. Though it was different this time. He rested his head against Loralei. He finally had a glimpse of being his younger self in a position where he learned about the harsh truth. It saddened him, but he didn't want to show it to Loralei and remained quiet.

"It was the right thing to do. You don't have to feel guilty for it.." Alucard tried to comfort her, though he didn't know if that would make her feel better. Being as how he is, he knew he wasn't talented at making others feel at ease, "Would it make you feel better if I transformed into my younger form?" ((omg, le shock. he cares! xD *alucard: -A- ...*))

((omg...i sense shoujo genre-ness coming on xDDDD *alucard: D< is not appreciating this one bit* ))

"Didn't I just say it was the right thing to do? You didn't screw up," Alucard shifted his position and then looked up to Loralei, "Would you prefer that I acted as if you screwed up? Huh?"

He tried to shift his position again to one that was more comfortable for him. Then he tried to change the topic, "Now then, you promised me you'll take me to that bakery tomorrow, right?"

((yay! shoujo-y xD . although i'm more of a shounen ai fan O0o!! xDDDD))

"What are you so stunned about? Stupid girl. I know I can't eat regular food without getting sick, but it's been a long time since I've had any pastries...or any of that normal people food.." Alucard only remembered that one time where he was his younger self and was in a state of fear, and not the previous times where he was in his younger form. From what he gathered from Loralei, his younger self was able to enjoy those foods. He wanted to remember what that was like.

"So you don't like it when people try to make you feel better? You're a stupid 'and' strange girl..." Alucard flapped his wings a few times to get airborne. He flew into his room and then landed on his bed, "And I want to go because I want pastries. Stupid stupid girl..."

He transformed back into his normal form and sighed as he fell backwards into the bed.

Alucard fell asleep quickly. He didn't get a lot of rest while he was out. It wasn't long before he had regained his younger form. He tossed and turned, and tried to sleep in all types of crazy positions. No matter what he did, he just couldn't pull himself to sleep, "Aaahh....caaaakkeee..."

Alucard got up and quietly traveled downstairs where he went into the kitchen and pulled out the left-over cake, Joy! Yay!! I hope Loralei doesn't find out.

He was caught between the decision of eating the cake and doing the right thing by leaving the cake alone, Ah noes...what should I do??
