Sayuri turned her attention away from her patron for a bit.
"Ahh...we are becoming plentiful in this teahouse lately, now aren't we? I am glad to see so many new faces. I am Sayuri," Sayuri greeted, bowing slightly towards the new maiko.

Serena was glad to see so many new maikos. She was sad that there were not enough wonderful geisha like Nitta to look after them. "It is so nice to see so many new maikos!"Serena spoke up.

"Indeed it is!" Nitta agreed with Serena. "It will be wonderful for business! Maiko are a source of never-ending fascination for many of the patrons."
Nitta smoothed out the sleeves of her kimono, then once more picked up the teapot.
"Can I offer anyone some tea?"

"Yes, it's the maiko look that truly fascinates them. Your look is so showy, in a good way, that they can't help but be drawn to llok at you all." Nitta smiled sidelong at her younger sister-to-be.
"Have you not noticed that you are often looked at more closely by the tourists when you go from party to party? And that maiko are more often photographed? You may want to note that, you can easily use it to your advantage!" Nitta winked.

"Anyone else?"

"I would like some, if you would not mind," Sayuri replied. She smoothed the kimono as she waited patiently.

Kyoku smiled at the new maiko, nodding her head slightly in welcome.
"It seems as though we will outnumber our patrons for once!" Kyoku said softly, laughing a bit at the end. After calling a maid to bring her some rice heated with tea, she sat down beside her imouto-chan, smiling delicatly.

Sayuri took the cup of tea thankfully. "Ahh...you are too kind, Nitta-san."
Sayuri let it set on the table until it was cool enough to drink. Afterwards, she put the cup up to her lips and tasted the warm liquid as it trickled down her throat. She quickly looked towards Koturo-san then back towards her cup of tea.
"Koturo-san has been quiet today," Sayuri commented. "Maybe we could set up a special time for that game of Big Liar, since we keep having to go to and from different things in our conflicting schedules."
