Sammy wasn’t running long before she was confronted by a Slugma. “Go, Cupid!” She called, watching as her Togepi friend appeared out of a pokeball. Slugma opened his mouth, as if he was about to yawn, but instead let out a small line of embers out at Cupid. She was blown back a ways, obviously flustered at the attack that did a medium amount of damage. “Metronome, Cupid!” Sammy called out, pointing an accusing finger at Slugma. Cupid wiggled her finger a few times, and all of a sudden, a large downpour of rocks fell onto Slugma… Critical hit! Slugma had less than half of his original health, and now was very agitated. He used an incredibly powerful move out of rage; Overheat! After the move was used, Cupid was left to just a smidge of HP. “Cupid, use another metronome!” Sammy called. Cupid used it yet again, her finger wiggling, and out came a water gun! The move made Slugma faint, and Sammy returned Cupid after a bit of praise. She then ran into a Cyndaquil.
“Go, Comet!” Sammy called, releasing Abra. “Comet; Uh, iron tail!” Sammy thought quickly, taking a moment to scratch her head. Comet’s tail soon aquired a ‘sheet’ of iron, and he whacked Cyndaquil with it. Cyndaquil flew back a ways, obviously taking the hit. Cyndaquil let out a small stream of fire, A.K.A. ember, which hit Comet. It did a good amount of damage, but Comet was still standing. “Use psychic!” Sammy exclaimed, hoping her plan would work. Abra let out a stream of waves, each of which hit Cyndaguil head-on. His HP was now low enough to catch. He let out his final attempt of salvation; flame wheel. Comet was engulfed in flames, and the spectacle was amazing to watch. He staggered, on the verge of fainting. “Pokeball, go!” Sammy called, throwing out a pokeball. It hit Cyndaquil, sucking him inside. Wiggle…. Shake…… Bounce…….. Ding! “Yes! I’ll name you; Blitzen!” Sammy exclaimed, putting the pokeball away. “Good job, Comet! You deserve a rest.” Sammy praised, returning the tired pokemon. She then walked back to where everyone else was.

Jack saw a Ponyta and ran up. "Poochie, use Tackle! Aurn use Mega Punch!" he shouted. Poochie ran at full speed and slammed her shoulder into the Ponyta. As the Pokemon reeled back, Aurn ran up and punch it in the flank. The Ponyta fell to it's knees but soon stood up. It slammed it's hoves into Poochie. The poor pokemon skid across the ground. "Eh." Jack groaned. His eyebrow twitched but he let out a breath of relif as Poochie stood up. Aurn hit the Ponyta down again and Jack whipped out a Pokeball. He threw it and watched it shake than stop with a boop. Jack smiled and ran off to find another pokemon.

Kiara tossed another pokeball, and Satan appeared. "Two-on-two again," she called to Sylar and Satan. "We're up against a vulpix and a bagon, it seems." The vulpix and bagon were ready to fight, it seemed.
"Sylar, razor wind. Satan, use swagger and protect Sylar," Kiara called. Sylar immeadiately began charging up his attack, as poochyena swaggered back and forth. It angered the vulpix, but made her confused and her flamethrower went awry. The bagon came up from the side and used a dragon claw, leaving glowing green claw marks on Sylar's side. He released his razor wind attack, buffeting the vulpix backwards. Satan leaped at the bagon with a crunch attack, and the dragon-type retaliated with a bite of his own.
"Sylar, night slash! Satan, take down!" Sylar leapt into the air, his blade glowing black, and slashed his signature move on vulpix's side. Satan backed up from the bagon, and took a running head start, smashing clear into bagon and sending him flying into a rocky cliff. Satan winced from the recoil damage. A stream of purplish-blueish fire came from the rock pile and slammed into Satan, making him stagger. Vulpix struggled up from the night slash and released a flamethrower, hurting Sylar badly.
"Finish it with wing attack and crunch, you two!" Sylar, quick even after his burn, flapped his wings and kicked up some dust, sending the tornado at the fox. Vulpix was blown into the same wall, where she did not get up. As bagon appeared amongst the rocks, Satan dog-piled him and clamped his teeth down, sending bagon into unconsciousness as well. Kiara glanced at the vulpix and the bagon, then tossed a pokeball.
Once...
Twice...
Thrice...
Vulpix didn't escape, and Kiara had another fire type. She walked over, picked up the pokeball, and released the little fox, picking her up. Satan, meanwhile, hauled the bagon out from the rocks and placed him on a large, flat rock, where the pokemon would be out of harm's way. Kiara recalled Satan as Sylar walked over to her.
"You did well," she praised him, and he nodded his thanks.

"I got to go tododiles pretty beat up." Endo said holding tododile.

Suddenly, there was a rush of claws and fur as a Growlithe punced past Maddy. She sent out Bubblez in retaliation, who blasted the little orange dog with Bubblebeam. Growlithe shook the water off and bite onto Bubblez left arm, its claws sinking into blue flesh. Bubblez retreated inside his shell, shaking off the angry Growlithe. The dog slammed into Bubblez shell, dealing decent damage and taking damage itself. Suddenly, Bubblez launched himself at Growlithe, slamming hard into the Pokémon with its head. Growlithe fainted. Maddy smiled and ran back to join the others.

Sammy cracked her knuckles as she walked back to the group. "Good battles, everyone!" Sammy cheered on, yawning afterwards.

Rc walked back into the base, now with three poke'balls on his belt, "Synn, Light and Chaos go out and have some fun with each other!"

Kiara held onto her new vulpix, debating names as she walked over to Sammy. "How'd your battles go?" she asked curiously.

"Great! I caught Blitzen. How'd yours go?" She asked, holding out the pokeball that contained Blitzen. Sammy would've released him, but he had been weakened enough from th battling.

Jack walked back, all his Pokemon in their balls. "Hey I caught a Ponyta."

Maddy sighed with relief. "I think we're good for now. Let's head back." She waited for everyone to finish up.

"Good. I caught her," Kiara said, looking at the vulpix and scratching her head. "Dunno what to name her, though."
"Vuuulpix," said the fox-like pokemon, her voice sounding like a melody. Kiara half-smiled, one side of her mouth curling up a fraction.
"Nevermind. I think I know what to name her," she said.

Sammy let out a contented sigh, happy that she had finally gotten some training. Putting her hands behind her head in a stretch, she began to look around to make sure everyone was there.
