Onyx was flyign home, after swiping someone's tack for Ironsides. besides, he liked the metal look anyway, fit his hide color. and he ignored Moonstone swooping around like he was attached to a string being spun in a circle, and landed by Ironsides, patting and petting him and showing him his new gear.
"I hope you like it. swiped it just for you. goes nice with your hide. lets get you in teh stable."
And he undid the rope, and tried to get in, until a big gust of wind smacked him back out.
"Hey! Ironsides needs a place too! you zephyrs and that nightmare can't hog the whole place. have a little sympathy he's been gone a long time and Bode's going to love it when she sees him. speaking of Bode.."
He took a deep breath, and gave a loud call for her, and that he had a surprise for her.
Malik chuckled lightly.
"I tried a few times. she's a resiliant one. anything else get brought from Andal? a tree seed, some flowers, anything like that? we all know how piper loves her greenery, and maybe with a little help we can get a tree or somethign to grow down here."

She shook her head lightly, hand taking hold to Malik's and entertwinging thier fingeres. "Oh don't tease about it...I can handle being without green relatively fine and you know it." She wasn't going to give in to that little delight. After all, she knew that surface things just didn't grow underground. And speaking of things from Andal. "She's going to have to come down here, I'm not going up there."
Wether concious of it or not, he had let his head tilt to the side a little as Raiel took up residence on his shoulder once more. "Nerian had a leaf in his mane, does that count?" But no, the ephyr only brougth back what he was told to bring back. "Though apart from greenery, I had Nerian bring back a sword." And then a look to Piper, telepathy kicking in getting her answer to a question. Then the look they were sharing broke and he looked at both of the elves. "With a little nudging...I should be able to convince her to come down." Fianna would be a wreck from being underground...she really avoided it like the plague.

Razial sat, and listened. Yup, family problems, just as he had though. But it was still so very interesting! "It's not so bad down here. Do surface elves really...hat4e the underground so much? Sure, we don't have that pretty sun and moon and stars thing going on, but we have..um...perpetual twilight, when the moss is glowing good that is." He smiled.
Moonstone watched Aella come back with Ironsides, then watched his brother come home. Not very exciting, but flying around in circles was better than going in the house where that....girl....waited for him. He couldn't shake off that wierd feeling of being watched and followed. it was creepy. He had almost worn hismelf out by now, wasn't feeling so angry, and thoguht maybe he'd stop before he fell outn of the sky. He extended his wings and let himself glide down to the ground, landing softly on his feet. A look to her brother. "She's probably inside, in the kitchin."

Kat sat in the kitchen, pushing salt around the table with her finger. She couldn't find her father. And yeah that did worry her a bit. Specailly cause at the moemtn she had nothign to do. She didn't even want any of the food that was around the table. She sighed heavily.
Eliot was very excited, "A hippogriph! O wow! So I get to fly again! And this time with out the feeing of being thrown off!" She was very excited, her eyes bright, she laughed out loud at the fun of it.

O'Konner found his daughter in the dinning room, looking mroe board then on the boat ride. he sat down next to her. "Kat, something's come to my attention, and I am going to ahve to go to Lostagrace for a while. I want you to stay here, okay?"
Roarke smiled, and took the pouch off his belt and handed it to Eliot. "You hold on to that, and make sure it doesn't rip or anything." He took her hand and guided her the rest of the way outside. at the bottom of the steps, he made the painful transition into an animal form. A large hippogriph, black rump and red feathers. He stompped a foot. Time to go!

Onyx glanced at his brother, and shrugged.
"then lets go find her nad tell her that Ironsides is back. She'll be thrilled."
then a chuckle.
"and how about that human girl? she's got her eyes on you. why not try to enjoy a little lustful fun."
A smirk, just jabbing at his brother. see, things didn't turn out all that bad.
Malik chuckled.
"Oh she'll come. she woudl walk down a dragon's gullet if she thought her daughter was alive and well living in it's stomach. Mothers don't pass up that kind of thing to see thier daughters. And I'll handle the collar thing."

Kieran nodded slightly at Raziel's questioning. "It's not that we hate it perse...it's what's in it that we don't take a liking to. And drow are only a part of it. I guess you can say that it comes from the thinking that evil happens when one can't see what's going on...we elve do have infravision, but it's not as well tuned as a drow's. So we can't see as well down here and it pricks at a seemingly innate self preservation fear we have." Ah to be a scholor.
She blinked. "Well that was quite the example..." They were amusing at points, really. And her hand touched her collar at his mentioning of it. Oh yeah...mom would love that and knowing Malik he wouldn't lie about it. Wouldn't lie, but he would use all the elvish grace he had to turn a collar into a token of the hightest reflection of love. And it could be taken that way too. Wait a minute...what about her ears? How would Fianna take that? "You sound confident about that...dont' you remember how it was to get me down here?" Leaving was easy...getting her to actually go under the surface that first time was...well...interesting.
"Ah yes, the collar thing...well I dare to say I've rubbed off a bit on your mother...I can clearly say she's not as ridgid as she used to be, and perhaps a little more less so since you left. But I'm sure all things considered...it will go quite well...though I fully expect to be slapped for holding the truth from her, and then be expected to hold her as she cries." Yes indeed...

"Fine. Just as long as I don't have to try her latest concotion." He rolled a shoulder, having strained it a bit.
He rolled his eyes. "She a little child, hardly anything to lust over. PLus, did you see the way she treated her father?" He lead the way into the fortress, across the main foyer and into the dinning room to head for the kitchen. He ignored the girl who was haivng a chat with her father.
"She is unappealing to me in every way."
Raziel nodded. "Ah, I see. Well then." He shrugged, Enough of him interupting. Carry on, by all means.

"She's human. all human's go through that. you shoul dmaybe give it a shot. might not hurt you know to at least be friendly."
He didn't notice anyone that wasn't Bode. which ment he wasn't noticing anyone.
"Besides, what if she grows on ya. I bet she's got a lot more than those pierces..hey maybe even a few tattoos. a bad girl that can really so you a good time."
A chuckle.
Malik just nodded and listened, and kisses Piper's hand.
"I remember. I also remember hading to drag you clining to a treebrach I had to cut off because you said the dark would make you foreget the colors brown and green."

Well that made her blush slightly...did he have to say it out loud? "Okay...I admit...I got cold feet and overreacted....in the most unpleasing manner thus far in my entire life I think." She had really gone overboard. Yeah...those first few weeks were rough. But at least he indulged her...night time visits to the surface, occasional trinket, letting her keep gods only knew what Serino brought back with him when he made his own visits. Now twenty years later...she was quite settled. Still had the occasional trip up and the like, but over all better.
"You really do indulge her, don't you Malik?" Oh he couldn't help but pick as well...he was just like that, always had been too. Then he smiled and laughed. "Though I think your mother would take humor in the fact that you're in a dress of your own choosing. Used to be an impossibility it seemed..." Ah yes, nostalgia of his daughter's childhood...well when he did see her that was.

"Mother wasn't like that." H gave a visual shudder. "I'm just not attracted to her." okay, time to jab bac. He smirked. "Nothing like Whirlwind, eh? Eh? She was here a fairly long time."
He sighed. "She's not a "bad girl" she only tihnks she is. Being spontanious and different isn't about taking stupid risks, looking grungy, and treating your father like a broken feather." Into the kitchen, and Moonstone looked around. The stoves were going, and there was flower all over the place. If Bode was covered in flower too, it would be hard to find her in this mess.

"Yes she was. and she lounged on my lap and nuzzled my fur and rather enjoyable I might add. she still has touching issues..but I'm helping her with that. and hey, why not give her a chance though at least on a friendly level. It's not like Malik to just let people stay here. obviously he wants something to happen between you and her. probably to get a tighter hold on her father, you think?"
A look aroudn the kitchen, a sniff. nothing but flour. faint scent of bode, but the flour covered up most of that.
"Bode?"
A look around for footprints now.
"you see anything?"
Malik nodded.
"I have to. I'm grounded fron all stress inducing activities for now. So now I get to indulge and spoil her."
He gave her a hug and akiss.
"Isn't that right, 'chev?"

"I say be careful with Whirlwind. She might be pushing herself." He shrugged. "But thena gian, what do i know aobut women, eh?" A little jab at himself to try and lighten the mood. He was still not happy with the heart thing, but there was nothing he could do about it now. He'd get angry aobut it again later.
"I think O'Konner is the type of guy that you have a hard time getting a hold of. He's a buisness man, like Malik. He knows how to manipulate as well as let himself be manipulated. " He rolled his eyes. "And if he's expecting something to happen between me and Madame Grunge, he can just forget it."
He sniffed, looked around. "No. Maybe she's with Simon?"

"What a strange place to be finding a dwarf." Greeted Shield as he walked around a bend in the inner corriodor of the ship that he was posted upon. He tilted his head and looked at the drow with some aprehension, which melted away within moments to a warm smile.
"Aay, boy. Tis true that me ancestors distained the seas but..." He shrugged somewhat helplessly. "There is little one can do to find some nice stone walled up in a fortress of iron."
"Tis indeed true, Pops." Tarathiel replied. "I really did scoure the sea line for metals, and found nothing of any significance. There is a few traces of what might be iron, so at the very least, soon you and yours will have somewhere to hang your 'shields'." The cocky elf smiled back at the dwarf. "So, Master Dwarf, do you still intend to fufill me a promise made not too long ago?"
"By the standerds of the humans who have become the judge of time, Son, it has indeed been an age. But, I shall help you as much as I can." The dwarf turned the next corner, and gruffly rumbled at a servent who happened by.
"Oh," The drow faintly phasised his tone, to make a slight mockery of the dwarf. "If you let them come too close to you, they will discover the hard core of a dwarf is much softer than the quilt of a lamb."
"You know what lambs are?" The dwarf replied adjusting his composure to look more dwarvish.
"I did as you said, and scowered all the books I could find on the strange animals of the surface world. Lambs are small animals harvested for wool."
"Or meat depending on the amount of sheep you have laying about. Or so me graps said."
"Well, this faviour I was promised, I would like to redeem. I fear that my arms may not be enough for what I have to face next, and I certainly do wish not to die."
"My most confused boy, that lack of fear is what usually keeps you alive. IF nothing else, its the fact you don't want to live that stays the hands of the gods." Shield turned to face the drow, and was not overly surprised to notice that the elf was mostly blended in with the surroundings. If Shield did not know he was there, he would have thought that it was merely the wooden frame of the ship playing a trick on him. "Damn your elfish cloak."
"Drow ones are better, but the surface ones are more stylish."
"You have hated being a drow for more years than you can remember, and your obsession with all things high elfish, like a certain name, remains to be one of your more engmatic properties. Tarathiel... Where did you pick that up?"
"A war." Tarathiel paused and leaned against the wall, and felt the rock of the ship. "Tis be the only ship of sizable strength on the all of Deep Water... Be warned my father, A Talon might strike against you."
"A Talon you say?" Shield paused, Tarathiel had never warned him of anything before, which means that if this 'Talon' strikes at the ship, doom most suredly will follow. Though chaotic in his ways, Tarathiel was not overly complicated when he spoke. Everything could be a lie, which is how he liked to have people think of his speach. But, a lie is simply the least accepted truth.
"Ay, he fancis a feud with any who could offer a reasonable challange. Then again, I have not seen his ship for a while which means that he might be busy else where."
"A friend of yours? Or of Salmander's?"
"Yes."
"Oh, you make an old dwarf heart ach to know that you are so vile deep down. You have all the makings of a nice boy if you were not such a war monger."
"Or homicidal maniac who enjoys the thrill of battle over the company of women."
"One of your history rarely enjoys the company of women."
"Yar, when be you leaving port?" Tarathiel asked slurring his words much as a seaman does.
"When the winds shift to the south, it has been three days since the last southern cycle... Makes me wish that the rotation of the earth had more to do with the winds down here."
"Ay, If only I ever cared about the winds."
"Do you even know how to sail a ship?"
"Well, er... Somewhat." A vague response to his father's question, but Shield would get the just of it. Shield understood that answering a question questionably was often beneficial to friends, family and followers. Somewhat could mean that Tarathiel was being modest about his elite sailing skills, and did not wish to brag. He could be actually admitting he only knew a few things about boats, and finally, he could know absolutely nothing about sailing what so ever, which would be just as likely as any of the other meanings. Shield was saved the trouble of having to lie if tortured by being told only innane things that would never truly bother Tara if anyone else should find out.
"What is my son's request?"
"You certainly tought me a few nifty tricks at making me weaons nice and sharpe, but I have never been he greatest at it..."
"You want me to make you a masterfully crafted sword?"
"Yes, yes I do." Tarathiel smiled.
"I have a limited amount of metal to work with, and its all fer the ship." Shield replied, knowing full well that Tarathiel had a specific metal he wanted used anyways. "And the bellows... They are rather dim."
"Sulfer TriOxate and Adamantium." Tarathiel dropped a roll onto the ground, which seemed to more or less materialize before the dwarf. Shield picked the roll up, a nice 'Persian' carpet tied with some very expensive silk rope. The dwarf could feel the odd shaps within. "Some people wont be needing their weapons anymore." The drow smiled wickedly.
"Adamantium?"
"Its abundant at home, and occassionally a few foolish soldiers go to challenge my cursed brother and end up dead. He simply leaves the weapons lying around. On my last visit, my loving sister convinced him to let me take some..." He left the explination at that. Shield did have a very strong sense of what Tarathiel was talking about.
"A scimitar. Like the other one I made ya?"
"Yes."
"Ok. I'll make 'er for you. But, this time, you are going to have to do me a favour as well..." Shield smiled. Tarathiel chuckled, "Oh, you know what I am going to ask..."
"Indeed."

She gave a melodic laugh, actually quite enjoying the little displays of affection. Labyrinth had been good for Malik really...he was more open than usual. Be that the new change of venue, her putting a stop to her wanderlust, or the fact that they were gettign married, who knew. Could of been a combination. "Oh so you're going to listen to me on that point are you? Well good...because I'm sure I can come up with some demands for you to occupy yourself with...complete with reward system I might add." Oh yeah, it felt good to be feeling closer to her old self again. Then a devlish little smirk. "And I know where you hide the cinnamon too..."
They were bad...in that good for each other, plain to see to anyone who had eyes to look way. And hey...he had to admit he was quite proud of his daughter who had tamed teh fury of a drow as well as her own fears and the like. Yes, Silverfeather was doing quite well for herself, that was plain to see. He always knew she could handle things on her own. "So you're putting all war and like out of sight and out of mind." A thoughtful look. "Doesn't sound like a bad idea to me...you could probably use a break. I'm sure we all could." And a slight chuckle at his daughter. "Your mother got you hooked on that stuff and you can't let it go...she used to walk around with the things in her pockets."
