:::She attempted to turn in the other direction, without supporting herself on Luke's arm, only to feel her knees give in. She narrowly escaped falling to the floor by grabbing onto his shoulder. Her head begins to get light, and she's having trouble keeping it up:::

Luke, I do not think I'm well.... :::She knew there was nothing she could do, except to perhaps lie down, but asking Luke to help her with that would mean giving up, and she was not prepaired to:::

:::Cora doesn't have the energy to resits being picked up. She remembers the strange display of competition between her and Luke from long ago, when he indeed held her upside down. It was a fond memory, and she tried to smile, but it was spoiled by a cringe. Her head dug againts his arm, and her chest heaved in a deep breathe. She didn't know what to do or say...there wasn't much she could:::

*Luke walks back into the main room, his steps lethargic... His mind on overload...*

*He sits down. He can't even really see straight. All he can see and hear are his thoughts.*

*Cora....Thought I died....Thinks Tacitus is in danger.... She was dressed like a homecoming queen....What was she....How could she....What did she think....She passed out....Just passed out right in my arms. And I couldn't do anything. All I could do was sit there and watch and...*

*Luke frown goes deeper and deeper. He doesn't like this....Holy s**t, he doesn't like this.*

*whispers* I don't have to do this.

*Luke gets up as if something's spooked him. He starts walking towards the keys, but then, he picks up his pace. With static movements, he replaces his key with Cora's. His breathing has gotten significantly heavier. He goes for the exit, puts in his key. He opens the door and leaves. Simple as that.*

*Enter Cora from Guestrooms 13*

:::Cora enters from the hallway, she is still wearing her evening/formal apperal from her so rudely interputed date. As she enters the open room, she looks to see if there is anyone there, and she sees a stranger. She notices one thing immediately:::

:::His ears!! And...a posterior pertrusion...? He is like the Captain's wife. She swallows her uneasiness, and introduces herself, still at a distance:::

Hail Citizen, I am first rank Officer Cora Serenis from the House of El. Please state your name and status.

:::Trying not to let her uneasiness shine through...at least he's friendly:::

:::She moves closer to the bar, fidgeting with her hands but catching herself occasionally::: Well, Alex, you see, I am in a bit of a bind. I take it by your easiness that you have been here before. I was brought to the brink at a very inoppertune moment, and I need to find a way back to a time other than my own... :::She is now but 3 or 4 feet away::: Would you be able to help?

:::The grin was all too familiar, and she was beginning to suspect that his likeness to Robyn was not because her kind of humanity was so common, but because this was her son...and:::

Alex...ander Gallowsraven?? You are the Captain's son!

:::Cora took a step further, her hand almost reaching to touch his ears. They just looked so unreal! She stopped herself though, and simply stood with a look of amazement:::

:::Cora was in utter disbeliefe for a moment. My goodness... his offspring did inheret the beast traits. She suddenly felt great pitty for Alex, but didn't want to say anything insulting. She put her hands down:::

I...I'm sorry, I'm just not accoustomed to uhm...such...traits, as yours. I have never seen any living creature other than a human. :::She blushes just a little::: And...you look like, your father...a bit....
