I don't really have any plans for vacation other than trying to work. I assume my friends will attempt to kidnap me from time to time and I'll probably wind up at a New Year's party drunk off my a**.
All I know for sure is that I'm going to finish watching DBZ again, finish my latest big book of manga, and beat FF IV and XII.

Sounds like a plan, good luck with all that. I'm gonna try and beat FFVI again, read a bunch of manga, and get drunk off my a** a few times as well.

Now that you mention it, I might play that again too.
One of my friends says that we're going to have a Red Dwarf marathon as soon as we come back to school. I love Red Dwarf beyond words.

It's a television show, silly. A British sci-fi comedy from the 80's. I grew up watching it with my dad and have a huge soft spot for it. I highly suggest it.

Wanna know how caring they are? Earlier this week, they stopped at a random middle school unannounced and came off the tour bus IN COSTUME, and gave everyone an instrument for free as a donation because of the fact that public schools are cutting art and music classes from the curriculum. AND Pittsburgh wasn't even on the tour list! The fans demanded! The manager was pretty much saying no, but KISS was pretty much like, "Too bad, we're performin' there!"
Paul Stabley said on the mic, "If you came ta hear a band talk about how you can stop global warming, or how to stop the pollution in the air... well ya came t' the wrong damn place. We're here t' ESCAPE all that."
And OMG Gene Simmons DROOLING as he played guitar and spitting blood...... Let's just say I practically made clam chowder in my pants. (and I don't ******** care if it's TMI. Gene Simmons is AMAZING).
But here' the phenomenal part: normally, if I were to swing my hips in a dancing manner, my hips would either hurt or lock up. Well going to that KISS concert made me dance and sing along, and I'll tell ya what; my hip problem is GONE. KISS frigging healed my hip problem!
And as an added bonus hilarity to my story, before any song was performed, Paul Stanley saw a red and pink bra with a note attached to it thrown on stage. Into the mic, he went, "Wassat?" and picked it up, opened the note and read aloud into the mic, "To Paul Stanley with' love........" and he read silently to himself and there was a slight pause, then cheerfully he went, "More o' that later. biggrin "
I tell ya, the next time they tour and they stop in Pittsburgh, I'mna try and get the best damn seats, at least on the floor instead of in the stands, so that I can meet Gene Simmons in person, because Gene, without the make-up before the show, was walking around like an ordinary guy and not too many people recognized him ROFL.
But yes.. my KISS experience was amazing. whee heart
