*Tavin blinked, opened his mouth, closed it, and blinked again*
Robyn... is not an animal. Her genetic makeup is quite different from that of your average human, but she is certainly NOT an animal. The difference between an animal and a person is that an animal is not capable of complex thought, such as puzzle solving and logical reasoning. No, I think that you'll find that Robyn, and the others like her are definately people, simply people who evolved in a manner slighty different than some of the others that we know.

Mmm... :::She thought::: So her kind is a tangent of human evolution. Amazing. I did not learn of anything like that in all of my education. I take it she is not from the same world as mine.
:::her thoughts shift back to the original topic:::
So! Males of past times find me attractive because of the way I appear outwardly, and would chose to reproduce with me, regaurdless of the rest of my geneteic disposition?

*Tavin shakes his head*
No. That's not quite right. Your appearance would make many males predisposed to you, but most individuals have other things that they look for. That's part of being a person. Individuality. Some males prefer darker hair, or a certain body shape, certain eyes, nose, mouth... The possibilities are endless. But according to past social structures, I would say that you have an outward appearance that would likely attract a large percentage of males.

Right, but what I mean to say is that a male would chose me solely on the fact that he prefers me physical features, and he would not care that I might have and undesirable genetic make-up that would pass to the child of the coupling. This sounds so strange to me!

*Tavin smiles*
It sounds odd to many people, but then again... many people confuse simple attraction with love. The truth is... Love is much, much more complex. Simple attraction is easy. But to those with a very strong desire to mate, simple attraction is a good enough reason for them to choose someone.

:::Cora sighs:::
Even this "simple" attraction os quite difficult for me to understand. :::she plants her chin in her hands::: This is by far the most complicated subject I have ever studied.
:::But suddenly she feels the pit of her stomach go empty again::: My time here for now is over Captain. Thank you for trying to explain. I hope to see you soon. :::its hard to tell, but it looks like she tried to smile, sadly, before she was completely gone:::

*Luke fades into the Brink* *He appears to have been walking down the street. His fist is at his side, but it's not clenched in anger. He'd been carrying groceries back to his dorm...*
*Luke looks around the quiet room. He siiiiighs and makes a smirk.*
*He lethargically drags his feet up to the bar. He sits there for a moment........*
*The quiet's a lot for him to take.*
*He sighs again. He looks around. He swings himself around and lays across the bar stools.... He folds his hands over his chest, thinks....*

*Luke is laughing at something, so hard that he can barely breathe....* Oh...Oh s**t.... Oh s**t man, that's-that's.... *When he gets a grip and looks around....* *The laughing dies down.*
Yeeeeah. *is still smiling* Yeah, I'm in the Brink...
*chuckles and strolls forward*

*Enter Cora from Tac&Cora -Barton- Night on the Town Pg10*
When the feeling at the pit of her stomach was gone she found herself standing in the middle of the bar room at the Brink of Time. She was dressed in a beautiful red, floorlength gown, split to one side up to her mid-thigh. A thin black lace was around her neck, the rest of her chest was exposed. Her gloves matched the lace around her kneck, as did her stockings. Her shoes looked terribly uncomfortable, and the they made her about 3 inches taller than she is naturally.
She had just vanished out of her "date" with Tacitus in Barton, which had recently taken a turn into disaster. The constant fluctation of time she'd just experienced caused her to feel extremely sick. Her knees gave, and she fell onto them, and resisted a gag.

*Luke hears a clamor behind him and turns around.... to find Cora collapsed onto the floor dressed in......complete prom wear!?*
*He hurries to where she fell.*
Cora? Jesus....Christ, what's going on?

:::Cora's thoughts were a jumble. Her mind raced, and she still felt faint, all she knew was that Tac might be in danger, and the Brink may have just pulled her away while she may have helped him. Luke was barely there, his voice just a mumble among the boomingly loud thoughts and fears:::
:::She forgot that she was a breath away from collapsing, and pushed her way past Luke, immidiatly rising to her feet and sprinting best she could to the key wrack. She nervously skimmed them, and finally found the key that had Tac's name on it, she grabbed it and hastily put it into the key hole in the door next to her. When it did not instantly open the door, she shook the handle:::
LET ME IN!! I NEED TO GO BACK!! OPEN!! :::She shook it harder, but it wouldn't budge::: OPEN!!!

*Luke watches her. What the ******** is she DOING?! He spares a moment to confusion, but that's all he spares. He runs up to her.*
Hey! ...... HEY!
*When she doesn't respond, he grabs her by the shoulders and looks her in the eye.* HEY! SLIM, GET A ******** GRIP!
*talks a little softer* Calm down.. *looks at the door and then back at her* And you can get out of here, okay?

:::She's in Luke's grasp, and looking right at him, but it still doesn't register that its him, or anyone she knows...she can only think of one thing:::
:::Yelling out her thoughts::: I have to get back! I have to get to Tacitus! He's in danger!!
:::She breaks from Luke's grasp and turns back to the door, pounding on it as hard as she can...but even with all her strength its no use. With each pound she grows more desperate, and more weak. Her stomach folds in on itself, and her fists on the door are the only thing stopping her from slipping back to the floor:::

*Luke's eyebrows go wide, not believing what's he's seeing. Has she ******** LOST it?....Tactius....Who the ******** is Tactius??* *He gets pushed away, and he watches her just crumple onto the ground...*
*Luke sighs, not liking this one bit.... Look at her, she's....she's really ******** upset....*
*Luke leans down. He tries to reason with her again..*
Cora...Look, babe... The key isn't working, okay? Whoever you're talking about. If they're in danger... Look, they're gonna have to wait.
Time doesn't exist here anyway, right?
