I'm guessing the above problem (x^3 + 1/ cool is an exaggeration.... since it's unfactorable.

O-o; unfactorable.
Most things in like are factorable, you just have to think logically in an out-of-the-box way. But maybe your right Twi, I don't think I could come up with a logical explanation. xp

(x + 1/2) (x^2 - 1/2x + 1/4) cool It works... x * x^2 = x^3 x * -1/2x = -1/2x^2 x * 1/4 = 1/4x 1/2 * x^2 = 1/2x^2 1/2 * -1/2x = -1/4x 1/2 * 1/4 = 1/8 combine the like terms x^3 1/8 (the -1/2x^2 and the 1/2x^2 cancles each other out)

Polynomial division is quite easy, if I'm thinking of the right thing here.
Oddly I'd thought of factoring out the (x+(1/2)), but I didn't know how to get the other part of it. As a side note, be careful with the parentheses use sweatdrop
1/2x = one divided by 2x
(1/2)x = one half of x
I'll stick to integration and differentiation.

But then I'd have to throw in the fact that you can't see my a**. For one, I'm not facing backwards like you are, and i'm not wearing black jeans to show off the fact that I do apparently have an a**, like you xd
