Cale Darksun stellarmagic I've also got an Aurora and one of the two Roswell spacecraft. cool Yes... Troop data. I'm not sure if we completely analyzed the size of the force and its equipment. When was our tentative start date anyway? I think it was several years before Yavin. I think perhaps Ten. Or maybe five... Which sounds more accurate? It was going to open before the Corellian Treaty, does anyone know when that was signed? Anyway... I seem to have lost my Order of Battle for the Imperial Forces. I'll draft a new one pretty quick. The Imperials will have 1 Regiment of Mechanized Army Troops plus some attachments and support formations that will bring the total imperial contingent to around 3,000 personnel, or roughly one soldier for every two hundred civilians. Thats about the same as the ratio for American Troops in Iraq was last year, troop strength has gone up since then. So they'll have 5 mechanized infantry companies of between 100-200 personnel each as the primary combat force, most of the other personnel are supply and logistics people along with those whose job will be to train a local pro-imperial planetary defense force. Not to mention MPs, starship mechanics, and any number of a thousand other things an army needs.

Maybe I should make it a motorized regiment instead of a mechanized regiment. There's a big difference between the Star Wars equivalent of a hummer and a bradley.
The Star Wars Bradley is called an AT-AT, and I really don't think you want to face those monsters, at least not initially.

Thats what I'll have since I'm motorized instead of mechanized. That's the difference. If I'm mechanized I get IFVs (Infantry Fighting Vehicles) and APCs. If I'm motorized I get armored hovertrucks. Plus one or two companies of hovertanks as an attachment. That should be challenging enough.

You mean this one? Cale Darksun Entry Number: 458778 Entry Subject: Aratech HT-74 Military Hovertruck. Status: Fanon An Army moves on its stomach. This is the same no matter where you go. And thats why this particular piece of equipment is so vital throughout the galaxy. It carries the food. And the ammo, and the fuel, and the parts, and the medicne and about everything else. The HT-74 is a durable, affordable, military cargo truck thats known for its incredible durability in the field. Capable of hauling around several tons of cargo from place to place in fairly short order, the vehicle is eqiuped with sturdy armor plating and a rotary blaster canon in an open air turret, allowing it to operate in combat contidions and even take a few hits. The sturdyness of the design is legendary among military forces around the galaxy and for over twenty years it has reigned supreme among military ground transports. In a bewildering variety of climates, the HT-74 has operated steadily and reliably and can take some pretty impressive abuse from her handlers without a loss in performance. This Vehicle is in frequent use among the Empire, the Galactic Alliance, and most military forces accross the galaxy. Aratech produces a variety of custom kits for it, including a sensortruck kit and both a treaded and wheeled modification kit that replaces the vehicle's sturdy repulsorlift hoverpods. Theres even a Civilian version that comes without the turret gun. I think only the combat vehicle recovery tracks and infantry carriers will have the turret, most everyone else gets to stick their side-arm out the window.
