If you like, you can help look for it. It is a gold ring with a pink heart shaped diamond. It should be somewhere in this room....

A...a ring? You mean, like a circle? A gold circle?

*Luke shrugs at Cora's comment.* Just fine, Slim. Yourself?
*Blinks, hearing that Namida lost something* I know how that feels... My law books were here for a week once.... *arches his neck to look around the room*

Yes, just doing some research. You? Have you been feeling better since we talked last?

:::Cora fidgits with her locket, and musters a small smile at Tavin:::
Yes, my thoughts have been a bit more settled, at least as far as our previous engagement is concered. Though, I have suffered other confusion while I've been here. :::She looked at Luke, still smiling::: But that is nothing new.

Yes, a ring is a small circle that goes around your finger.

:::To Namida:::
Small ring, that encircles a finger...no I have not seen anything of the likes. I will be sure to hold it for safe keeping though, if I do come across it.
:::Looking at Luke, still wondering what all the talk about attractiveness was about:::
:::She accepts Tavin's invitation, and pulls up a chair across from him:::
I am trying to understand attraction, and its entailments. The last time I appeared here, I learned that I am considered attractive by the standards of times past...but I do not know what that means. Only that it has something to do with mating.

*Tavin can't help himself but laugh*
What a wonderful subject for you to bring up. Especially considering that Angels, such as myself, have no real understanding as to what's really considered "attractive" or not. But I will do my best to explain what I believe. Attraction IS as far as I've been able to gleam, a glorified version of animal attraction. Much like any animal, humans are naturally attracted to the things in a mate that would make them most suitable. Many females look for a muscular physique in a male, and often times a keen mind, as physical and mental disposition is likely passed on to offspring. Males often look for a female with a good physique, as I've noticed, most males seem to pay particular attention to the female's breasts. I believe this is a mix of instinct, and social mindwashing. Society plays a large part in the definition of what is considered "attractive" or not, often making large generalizations. For example- In certain societies, people with blonde hair are considered to be easier to mate with. In all honesty, this belief is false, as the color of a person's hair has no relation to thier mating disposition, but the social view on the matter is so strong, that some people feel the need to change their hair color to make it easier to find a mate.
*Tavin stops for a second to see if what he says sinks in*

:::Cora contemplates a moment:::
Hm... animals, like, lower life forms? Our attraction stems from our evolution from lower life forms... We do not have animals where I am from...I do not know much about animal attraction. :::something clicked:::
Is this why you married an animal?
