That's not the point.
You probably know The Once and Future king better for book one, "The Sword in the Stone". Its one of four books which make up modern Aurthurian legend. Normally I would be suggesting CW to tell you more about this, but she hates our guts so that isnt' much help now.
The other books are the ill made knight, the candle in the wind, and whatever the second book is.

I think it'll be self-evident from the title:
The once and future shogun.

Awesome. Dibs on Lancelot.
I mean Rancemaru.
Ya gotta put Maru at the end of a Samurai name for some reason. I think its just popular.

Lancelot however wouldn't be part of the first part... Hell, in the book he doesn't come around until book 3...
Of course, we could skip the first two and go straight to book 3: The Ill made Samurai.

Hmm... Ok, I'll just have to pick a different role then. Everyone know sword in the stone. If they don't they need to be beaten.

Hmm. I can do Robin Hood. Banditry comes natural to a rogue. Its just a primitive degenerate form of Piracy.

Robin hood isn't a bandit.
He fights Morgan Le Fay and rescues friar tuck from her palace of food and meat. No banditry required.
In fact, he's more like the Green Arrow than Robin Hood...

In fact, he's more like the Green Arrow than Robin Hood... Does he run around in the woods shooting arrows and throwing snappy one liners? Not really. Until Arthur slays the gryphon, he's mostly eating grapes from maid marion's hand while listening to music from a minstrel.

I mean, we don't have to stay directly to the books..

I thought about cutting it out for the most part. Stick with merlin's lessons and the sword.
The Ill-made knight is probably the best part of the series.
