Not sure why I can't find this out on the internets, but I saw two questions on Yahoo, but they were given bullshit answers.
See, when you listen to ONE song on repeat during a whole night of sleep, it'll actually change. I'm not saying to a totally different song, but you'll notice that it sounds different. I dud this the other night to unintentional nightmare fuel on Sunday, but I've had this happen and least two other times.
Every time it happened, I fell asleep with the song on repeat, beats sounded different, and I could hear more of the song that wasn't noticeable before. Also had a feeling that I know what word is coming up next, it only counted for two of the three songs though, since one song pretty much repeated.
So, can you guys do this? Doesn't have to be headphones, it works with the stereo. It has to be ONE song, it doesn't work with two songs. Also, you should use a song you're familiar with, but no one you love.

It's probably your mind becoming accustomed to the obvious stuff of a song and kinda dulling it out. After that, the subtleties become clearer and you hear things you might not have before.
Or something...

It's probably your mind becoming accustomed to the obvious stuff of a song and kinda dulling it out. After that, the subtleties become clearer and you hear things you might not have before.
Or something...Your focus shifts. Listen to the song on repeat while fully conscious and not doing anything else, and the same thing will happen. Your mind gets bored, searches for variation, and alternates focus. Usually for me it's between instruments; I listen to s**t on repeat a lot to pick out the details when I'm trying to transpose.
